Well...i have the first chapter to a story i hope to one day finish....its not completely done but its the basic introduction storyline....
The creepiest part is that this chapter was a dream that I had, and its basically told from my perspective in that story, there were a few things I had forgotten by the time I started writing it, but yeah....
Its pretty long, so if you get bored, go ahead and just read it and help me out a bit ^^;

ok! Here's Chpt 1 of a story I wrote in 9th.. of course i'm fixing it as i go.. but hey tell me what you think!!
Chpt 1
She sat quietly on the bench awaiting her friend's return. The noise of the busy street buzzed in her ears. Cilenda knew that Cassie had no intention of coming back to retrieve her. Their friendship had ended a month before, but Cilenda held on, hoping it would flourish once more. She and Cassie had come to the carnival, like they had done every month, together.
"Hold on, Celly, I'm going to get a drink, wait right here. I'll be back before you know it!" With that, Cassie had skipped off down the rooad. An hour later, Cilenda still sat there, hiding her face in her hands as tears streamed down her cheeks and through her fingers. She knew that she had lost her best friend, and this time, she wasn't coming back.
Peeking out through flooded eyes, Cilenda attempted to look through the crowd for a friend, for a familiar face. Wipping her eyes, which still had tears threatening to spill over, she stood up and walked downt he raoad, hoping for some sign of Cassie, or any friend that would be willing to bring her home.
Another hour passed as she walked thorugh the roads. The crowd had slowly dissolved away. Soon, only a handful of people were left. Cilenda solemnly went back to the bench and once again, hid her tear filled face. She sobbed so hard her body shook. Cassie had left her stranded downtown, with no way of returning home.
Cilenda attempting to stifle her tears, to no avail. While wipping her eyes, she felt a strong hand rest itself on her back, causing her to jump. The streets had been empty, she had seen no one approach her. A strong, fluid, familiar voice rang in her ears.
"Cilenda, whats wrong?" Peter asked softly. Cilenda sighed in relief at the sound of her friend. She looked up into his deep golden brown eyes and smiled weakly. Slowly, she began to tell Peter how Cassie had left her there stranded. As she spoke, Peter nodded understandingly, and sat next to her, holding her comfortingly.
"Cassie and I got in a fight last month, and I thought things were good again since she invited to take me along to the carnival, but I guess I was wrong." She started, feeling the tears threatening to jump off the ridges of her eyes. "Things were going good, we were here fora few hours. She even bouth me a funnel cake, since she knows I love them so much. Well it had been awhile since we had stopped for food or anything, and we were sitting here, and she tol me that she was thirsty and she'd be right back. She asked me to wait here, she'd only be a minute, so I waited.. and.." Cilenda's voice began to feel her, the tears jumping one after another out of her eyes. Peter rubbed her back comfortingly, and Cilenda continued. "She didn't come back, and she knows I have no way to get home from here, and now I'm stranded."
Sobs began to choke her again and convulsed her body. Peter held her close, wondering how his once strong friend could be so weak and fragile. Cilenda's long silver hair waved with each shake ov her body. After a few moments, she calmed herself, and looked up at Peter with her soft white eyes. Sighing softly, Peter brushed her hair away from her face.
"I can take you home. I have Vel with me tonight." Celinda smiled and nodded, accpeting his offer. Peter helped Cilenda up and escorted her to his horse. Peter's night black hair fell into his face, hiding whatever feeligns he may have been expressing. Cilenda stayed close to him, quivering in his arms, hurt and scared.
Peter looked at CIlenda and sighed softly. Her long siliver hair cascaded around her long, pointed elf ears over her shoulders and down her back like a waterfall, her normally rosey cheeks were palm from exhaustion and pain. For years, Peter had watched Cilenda grow, and strengthen. She was top in her class at sword fighting, and had overcome many challenges that had confronted her. Yet at the lose of a friend, she crumbled as if the earth beneath her had dissappeared and was trying to swallow her whole. He took this in for a moment, then realized she had been looking back at him, wondering why he was staring. He immediately turned his gaze to Vel, who was now in front of them. The black stallian huffed in greeting.
Cilenda smiled at the sight of the horse and gave him a friendly pat. She loved this horse. The horse bowed his head gracefully and looked kindly at Cilenda. She took this all in, it isn't often Peter allows someone to ride Vel, and its even less frequent Vel lets anyone but Peter ride upon him. Peter hoisted Cilenda on top of the horse, and then climbed in front of her. She wrapped her slender arms around his waist.
The ride was quiet, the only sound was that of the night creatures, and Vel's steps. The distance wasn't long, but it was a dangerous walk for a girl at night, the road was surrounded by bushes and trees that could easily hide a predator. After riding half way home, Cilenda finally gained the courage to break the silence.
"Thank you, for bringing me back home." Cilenda said, holding him tighter, to hide her face behind his back. A smile tugged at his lips. "No problem," he replied. Silence fell around them again. A few roads from Cilenda's home, Peter turned onto a separate path. Cilenda looked around, confused for a moment, then smiled thoughtfully, realizing where Peter was taking her.
Peter stopped Vel , and looked up at the stars that glimmered brightly throughout the sky, deep in thought. Dilenda looked over the treetops at the bright silver moon. The park was beautiful at night, she often came to clear her thoughts and meditate. Something Peter knew of, but never mentioned that he had seen her here many times. Cilenda slid her hand into Peter's, and he lost his train of thought and looked back to her. Their eyes locked a moment, before Cilenda turned away blushing. With his free hand, Peter put a finger under her chin, and led her to a small quick kiss.
"Perhaps its time I go home, my parents are expecting me." Cilenda said blushing. Peter hesitated, then nodded. He pet Vel's side, alerting the horse it was time to go. Cilenda sighed, wondering if the kiss meant what she had hoped it meant. Cilenda often felt as though he were watching her. Which was ackward at first, but she had grown used to it after a few months. Slowly her cottage came into view, and she sighed, grateful to be home.
"Thank you for the ride home. I dont' know what I would've done if I were stranded there. Mom said we were getting visitors tonight, and that I had to be home. I really owe you one." Cilenda climbed down off Vel, with Peter's help. "Don't mention it" he replied with a small smile, "it was my pleasure." Vel turned and began to walk off, Peter glanced once more at Cilenda, something in his eye suggested he knew something that she was about to find out. Cilenda didn't catch this look, though, she was already opening the door, grateful to be home, and to finally have things settle down.
* * *
As she opened the door, the warmth of her home spilled out into the chill of the night air. Already, Cilenda began to feel at peace. The smell of freshly baked cookies filled her nose and she smiled. The pitter patter of paws approached her, and Cilenda knelt and pet her cat, Rainbow Mist, lovingly. Cilenda stepped inside and shut the large wooden door, the scooped Rainbow Mist into her arms, and headed towards the voices coming from the living room.
When CIlenda entered the room, she noticed something quite odd. Her parents sat next to eachother, as they usually did, but across from them were two people whom Cilenda had never seen. Yet, Cilenda realized with confusion, something was strangely familiar about them. A sinking feeling churned her stomach. She looked at the woman across from her mother. This woman had long silver hair, tucked neatly into a twist, held securely by beautiful hair adornments. Her soft golden eyes laughed, as she chatted with Cilenda's mother. The man had short golden hair, that glimmered in the light that reflected off a small gold crown placed upon his head. His eyes, like Cilendas, were a soft white. Cilenda stood in the doorway and wondered why these strangers looked so much like herself.
As she stood staring at these people, she didn't realize that the four adults had been watching her. She flushed deeply realizing she had been rude and slowly made her way into the room, careful not to offend these new guests. Cilenda sat in the chair that waited for her, between the two couples, and sat. Rainbow Mist curled up in her lap. Both waited expectantly.The two strangers smiled warmly.
"Hello Cilenda," the woman said, with a soft melodic voice. "You certainly have grown since I saw you last." Cilenda smiled politely, glad to know there was a reason why she found them familiar. She had obviously met them before. The man spoke now. "You have become a beautiful young woman," his voice melted around Cilenda, "just like your mother." Cilenda looked at her mom and smiled, but soon became confused as she saw her mothers smile that of a lost soul. Her own smile dissappeared as she saw her parents look at one another with a sad, knowing glance. She turned her attention once more to the strangers, for further explanation.The man noticed the look, then looked at her parents questioningly.
"Haven't you told her?" He asked. "Told me what?" Cilenda demanded, looking at this man and her father. Silence filled the room. Pain stung Cilenda one more. Again she felt abandoned. "What havent' you told me?" she demanded again looking at her father desperately. Pain and hatred began to fill her eyes, disguist churned her stomach. The thought of her parents holding somethign from her, lying to her made her heart drop. She pet Rainbow Mist to keep her shaking hands from being noticed. AFter what felt like an eternity, the strange woman spoke.
"Cilenda," she said in her soft voice. "I'm your birth mother. I am also queen of Nenma..."
