To me, Seto's a seme, because he's just that type of person.
But if he goes uke for the sake of a pairing, (Say, Yami no Bakura x Seto) then I view it as, like, seme/seme with one just happening to be on the bottom because that's how things kinda have to work. XD

Dude, I know someone who seriously thinks Yuugi's a seme. x.o;; It's really weird. (Actually, there's a whole little clique of em. XD I only know one really well though.)
I mean, what part of him is seme-ish?
But back to Seto.
I tend not to pair him with either Bakura (one of those pairings I personalyl don't understand, same with puppyshipping, actually) but it's hard to say who'd top. I actually think it might be Seto, unless it were NCS.
He'd never back down, not willingly, and Yami Bakura is the type who'd bottum then get back at him later somehow, since he's conniving like that (and is just as masochistic as sadistic.)
Just my opinion though. XD
Seto's pretty damn seme.
(Actually, ADK can't really see him bottum to anyone but Atemu/Yami Yuugi when its consensual. XD)

be_my_freind Yeah, but back to Seto XD Wouldn't it be wierd if Seto was Uke and Yuugi was Seme? o.o That would be funny...
As for Seto? To me, he should be a seme. If he's ocassionally the seme with Yami no Yuugi, that works for me. But even though there are plently of other seme characters, I think he beats them all at being a control freak. He the seme-est out of all of them. THe only character I could see him being always uke to would be Yami no Malik(But I never really thought about this pairing before until I tried to think of someone he'd be uke to just now sweatdrop .)

I agree with ADK... I don't see Seto being uke to anyone except for Atemu/Yami no Yuugi really.
And on the subject of rivalshipping and Yuugi playing seme- I've read one, Bite Sized, I think is the title xD
Yuugi wants to top Seto but Seto doesn't want him too ^^
So Yuugi asks Yami and Jou for help and yeah... it's really kinda funny x3

Those always make me laugh.
But yeah, Yuugi does seem like a pure uke... "Seem" being the operative word there. I love it when profiled ukes get thier turn to be seme. Especially when they do it by force.

I think it's hot either way, but, it does have a little bit to do with the pairings. It's nice to change it around a bit sometimes, though.

I always prefer Seto to be Seme. Mainly because most of the time I cant see him taking it unless it was a near rape situations. I just think he's THAT stubborn.
It also depends how it's approached I suppose and the pairing. Truthfully, Yami would be taking it even if he is a Seme character. But I guess that's to do with the clear hieght difference. Not that it matters.
But yea, I guess he can take it sometimes. But what I've read or seen, he's just goes stupidly emotional and soft like ya typical yaoi uke. Which ruins Seto's character completely, so I tend to leave those alone.

Seto keeps getting uked by Yami/ Atemu throughout the whole series sweatdrop When have you even seen Seto win and not cheat when playing against him rofl
The only time I can see Seto as a seme is with Jou. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Puppyshipping. Jou and Seto ABHOR each other. Except it. Put them together in a love hotel, and your either going to find one of them dead the next day, or severely raped with hatred. (Its the old brains vs brute scenario) There is no love! mad
*cough* Anyway...
Growing up alone with a brother to take care of has matured Seto at an early age. Unfortunately it has only left Seto with a distrustful nature; surrounding himself with a high wall of defense. Unnoticeably he builds this wall so large that it is full of holes. (His genuine love for his brother is a huge weakness.)
I refuse to believe that with such a caring attribute, that Seto is so bigoted! Instead I am convinced that it is only an outward persona.
After Yami destroyed a part of Seto (the evil part), Seto has become a bit emotionally distressed. If he could only dismiss his pride, he could save himself.
By who? Who knows. Maybe Yami Bakura wink
(Yesum, I know they never talk. But they look oh so hot together)

Uke Seto, hands down. >D
Although I'll pretty much go either way with it. Actually, I'm very picky when it comes to fics and such with uke Seto. I don't mind him as a seme at all, and from time to time I even prefer it, but for the most part it's uke all the way.
For me at least. 3nodding
