Should I sticky this stuff? I think I will.

Basically my policy was to sticky it unless people lost interest in it :p

I'm rather curious as well as to whether comrade Gracchvs will be able to access our forum when its created or if the Australian education dept would block that also.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 25, 2006 10:48 pm

I don't think they would Mere. My school doesn't block most forum websites. and I don't think it's much different in Australia.

InvisionFree is a possible site to create the forum through. Again, I'm rather inexperienced at this, so other suggestions may be better.

I've seen and used Invision free, Gallenger and I have used proboards in the past though (And Hammer & Fire was on Proboards).

So it begins.

I'm also somewhat experienced with InvisionFree, and I know my socialist friend is quite good with it as well. If you use it, we could probably help.

Hmmm, I have no problem with Invisionfree again, however my almost all my expierence is in Proboards.

I'm all Proboards here, sorry if that's not much help... What's InvisionFree like? Also, if we have modem users(Sorry Gallenger!), and we can't use a lot of graphics, instead of using photos we could title ourselves 'The New Paris Commune'! It would be kind of a cool title, although it might suggest a Francophile orientation... I suppose we need something kind of multinational...

I like that, I wanted to kind of imply France in a title or in anyway possible. I do like that one.

So for a general idea of what I wanted for a forum, I made one and started screwing around. I like this layout and propose this how it look.

That actually seems rather good to me, though the picture at the top doesn't seem to fit very well with the color combination that you've chosen. Probably just the fact that the tonal ranges are very different.

Perhaps, again I'm open to suggestions. Just realize I'm limited in image making and altering. New pictures are welcom as well.

What tools do you have?

What is this paint you speak of?

If you're going to be that way about it, it may jsut be a better idea to get a new picture. Preferably something like the previous. I want the idea of a reovlution preserved, but I dont' want the default Russian Revolution Picture.
