He sighed happily along with Rosette as a bolt struck both of them and laughed when he saw Rosette puff out also. Nadia was rolling around on the grass, almost crying with laughter.
"You're two big love puffs!" She managed to say through laughter.
Klonoa blushed, but instead of blushing pink he blushed a light grey, emberassed by Nadia's comment.

Rosette continued laughing, and blushed terribly when Nadia spoke. "Yes I suppose we are." She said embarrassedly, flicking her puffed-out tail. "But you know, we wouldn't want to leave you out." She said, sending a harmless spark at the laughing fairy, causing her hair to frizz out.
"There, now we all match." She said with a laugh.

Nadia stopped laughing as felt her hair puff out. She pouted playfully at Rosette and sat up. Klonoa felt a waterdrop land on his nose, and stood up as a bombarde of rain poured out of the heavens.
"Why must there always be rain?" he asked.
Klonoa motioned for Rosette to follow him as he ran down the hill, his fur soaking wet. He ran into a small cave, big enough for Rosette, himself, and Nadia. There were a couple of twigs scattered about the cave, so he made a pile and set fire to it with a spark, lighting the cave warmly.

A raindrop hit her square between the eyes as she looked up, she looked back at Klonoa and followed him, her fur loosing its poofy-ness and clinging to her wet body. "The dry lightning strikes never last..." She said as she entered the cozy little cave, dripping wet.
She shivered slightly, and moved a bit closer to the fire, though not close enough to drip on it. "This is a nice cave." She said, around a bit at the small, yet dry space they were in. "Its... Cozy." She said, looking at Klonoa with a smile.

Klonoa dried off by shaking his fur, but didn't get anything wet. He smiled back at Rosette and laid down next to her, sitting so close their fur was touching.
"Yes, it is quite nice, isn't it?" Klonoa said gently.
Klonoa nuzzled Rosette affectionately while Nadia sat, warming her hands by the fire.

Rosette did the same with her fur, feeling the warmth of the fire and also laying down, smiling as he nuzzled her. A crack of thunder sounded outside and she smiled, resting her head on Klonoas shoulder. "Feels like... Home." She said with a happy sigh, she never really had a real 'home' she had just wandered around mostly. "And I'm glad I'm in such a nice place with you." She said, licking his muzzle.

"I am too, Rosette." Klonoa said.
He smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder. Klonoa licked her back, showing his affection for her.
"I'm glad to be with you at all, love." he said.
Fireflies found their way into the cave, lighting up the place even more. Their shadows danced on the wall gracefully, making it a moment they would both remember.
"I love you." He admitted softly, licking Rosette again.

She watched in awe as the fireflies also retreated from the rain outside, making beautiful shadows and patterns on the walls, it was beautiful. She knew this was special, she purred softly as he licked her back, "I love you too Klonoa." She said, touching her nose to his and looking once again at the fireflies dancing around the cave.
