I don't believe in any gods, but I do believe in the human soul. Basically, there are an infinite number of different worlds, and after the body dies, the soul moves onto another one. Then, the soul claims a body, and puts a piece of itself in that body, and it watches over that body. The soul outside the body simultaneously has its own perceptions and can also see through the perceptions of the body. When the body dies, its soul, which has gained a lifetime of experience, unites with the guardian soul.
This guardian soul is what accounts for psychic abilities; for telepathy, the soul communicates with other souls. For other forms of ESP (such as clairvoyance), the body is receiving sensory data from the guardian soul. For precognition and such, it's essentialy clairvoyance, only it's sensory data from a world farther along in our own timeline. For telekinesis, the soul materializes enough to move a physical object.
Interestingly, as I type this, I realize that this could be an alternate explanation for the Force.

Hmm, that is a very interesting way to look at things. That would be an explanation to things. Like deja vu and things like that.
But, no, it is not an alternitive for the force. The Force is the result of increased levels of metachlorions in your blood stream.

No, CONTROL of the force is due to increased levels of midi-chlorians. The Force itself is everywhere. It's sort of like air, or chi energy, or (in a fantasy-type world) magic.

i'm agnostic. im opposed to christianity for these reasons
-it tells you to make the religion your number one priority so christians will always say its good to try to be accepted so you can get the message out
-it makes you deny your own logic by telling you to not rely on your own understanding
-it clearly states in revalations that "homosexuality is an abomination", and i strongly believe in gay rights
-it demotes animal rights by saying that animals were placed here for the use of humans and im vegetarian
-this one isnt particularly for christianity, but it condemns those that dont follow it which i think is definately somewhat self righteous
-having read into brainwashing methods, it uses the clear method of invoking fear(hell)convincing you that you dont have the answer, telling you the answer, and convincing you that there will be rewards if you believe what you are told(heaven)backed up with very vague information(like in revelations when it says the world will end when fire falls from the sky[shuttle explosion], when a pillar of fire falls to the ground[911], when cities are covered in water[hurricane katrina], whenever man turns on its brother[war])well let me tell you something, there have been several shuttle explosions, who knows how many buildings have collapsed over the course of time, hurricanes definately arent a new thing, and wars have probably been going on since the beggining of time. having have been tricked by fear, and taking the obvious route of salvation, you are given vague information to back up its sense of trueness and causing you not to question it, but incase you do it tells you that satan is trying to tempt you, and that you have to have faith
-it tells you to deny your natural sexual and emotional feelings
-WHAT THE ********?! let me do a reenactment of the "creation"(good thing i wasnt adam)
God: i created you, worship me or youre going to ******** YOU a*****e! if you created me just so i could be your b***h for all eternity and convince others to then you might as well kill me now
-it promotes authority, and being somewhat of an anarchist, ******** authority, its just a way for narcisists to quench their need to dominate
-it might not go against science in alot of ways, but one way is homosexuality because they have done several tests that show its not only mental but physical in some ways and that it comes from a gene mutation on a small section of the x chromosome know as xq28 that causes men to absorb not enough testosterone in the womb and causes women to absorb too much. the bible completely goes against that scientific fact and people dont need to live their lives based on a false dream
-it seems like one continuing cycle... something doesnt go right its all part of a bigger plan... if it goes right, its god's blessing... and actually they did a medical study a while ago, and the study showed that prayer did not influence medical outcomes. id like to hear a christian try to explain how you are really benefited by "the bigger plan" and "god's blessings"
i am agnostic, and i am proud. i dont believe that everything just happened, and dont see how that is possible, i believe that the root of existence is conscious thought, but im not sure what caused it and frankly i dont think what caused it wants us to know
sorry if youre a christian and i offended you, that wasnt my intention, i just really wanted to get that off my mind.

PL3453_K1LL_M3 That's the same thing that happened at my uncles funeral, Newatreides. The thing that pissed me off most was that my uncle wasn't even religious, his wife was. And she was always trying to convert him. It was like she was, like every other religious person I know, trying to convert him to the end. It's just annoying. What exactly are your views? I'm just wondering. I'm gonna steal your sig now haha.

newatreides personally, my favorite "religion" is humanism. amen brother. people need to stop focusing on preparing for making it to "heaven", because it doesnt exist. if people had always instead focused on making the world a better place, it would be, and it wont be untilwhen or if we ever have a change of heart

I have rejected religion, thanks to the help of one of my friends and my own hatred of the ignorant masses, and instead I work off of a simple philosophy. "All life is balance". In then end we're all dirt, we just refuse to admit it. It's part of the balance and without it humanity would have crushed itself and all of creation millennia ago.
