The wind blew by him like a nice summer breeze. When Muse beckoned him to look about, he carefully let go of her fur to glance at the ground and just the area around them.
"Wow.. The ground looks so small.."
Blinking as he grinned at his surroundings, he felt like he was bigger than he actually was because of all of this. Hopping up slightly, he chirped happily as he flapped his tiny wings a bit. Of course this didn't do anything for him, but it gave him a small sense to what actual flying might be like.

It felt so good to be up in the air again. She wanted to do loops and swirls but knew it would be too much for Ona. Instead, she beat her wings a little bit faster until they were just barely touching the lowest of the clouds.
"This is what freedom is like, Little Brother. I can not wait until we fly side by side."

Even if it wasn't by his own power to be in the air, this was still a very nice experience for him. Smiling as he chirped again, he stopped flapping his wings before looking down once more.
"I cannot wait either. I believe the day I'll be able to fly on my own and along side you will be a great day indeed."
Closing his eyes as he imagined to soar through the skies with his own wings, he squirmed slightly from excitement.

Though she could not do loops or any other tricks in the air, Muse could spiral lazily down towards the ground. She wanted Ona to experience all sorts of types of flight. She could feel his excitement and happiness as he trembled on her back. It was too much! Giving a cry of happiness and joy, Muse did a little dip to see how he would take it.
If he got used to it know, she figured. He would have no problem with it later.

Taking the scenery as he smiled widely, he let out his own cry after Muse did. Then as they dipped slightly, he chirped loudly, though not from fright, but from glee.
If he didn't really sound like a hatchling much before, he definitely did now, with actions.
This definitely made him want to be able to fly even more.

Muse's wings were starting to tire. Not just from flying but she was almost positive now that she would be growing within the next few days. She didn't want to come down now that she knew she could fly again with no problems. But if she didn't come down, they were very likely to fall. Not a good thing considering how high up she had taken them.
"I must rest a little bit. Then we can explore some more or I can take you flying again."
Going back into a spiral, Muse headed for a small spot of blue amoungst the dark browns and greens of the forest. A spring was always a nice place to relax. With food and water, she would take a break and then be strong and ready to go.
"How about that spring?"

Muse wasn't the only one feeling a bit tired, as Onarasuto stiffled a slight yawn. Though being a hatchling still, he just figured it was because he just didn't have too much stamina yet.
"Alright. I feel a bit tired as well.."
Blinking a bit, he stretched his little wings and glanced down at the suggest location to rest at. It was a nice place to go ahead and take a break from their adventures.
"That looks perfect, Big Sister."

They came in for a landing at the spring. It was a nice place with thick bushes and clear water. A good place for resting indeed. Gently sitting herself down, Muse turned and looked back at Onarasuto. He called her big sister!
Chirping very happily, she watched as he hopped down.
"One day, we can travel for long periods together." Folding her wings down, Muse stifled a yawn. How long would it take for the itching and aching to stop?

The young hippogriff hopped off of Muse's back when she landed and lowered herself to the ground. Grinning and chirping happily, he looked up at her and nodded.
"Very true. But until then... let's rest."
He moved out to the water to take a quick drink. After taking a few gulps from the pond, he hopped back to his 'sister' and nestled down beside her. The flight was exciting, but it was tiring in its own way.

Nodding at watching Ona carefully, Muse made sure that he did not fall in. After all, the water was very deep for one so small. Once he was nestled, Muse licked him over a couple times and made sure that he was cleaned up.
"Rest is definately a good idea. Then perhaps, we will hunt for fish later." Laying her head down in her forelegs, she watched Ona as he settled down. Somehow, this little one had taken his place in her heart much faster than any of her old clan. "Rest, Ona."

Yawning slightly, Onarasuto closed his eyes and nodded ever so slightly to the other 'griff by him. Feeling safe and comfortable with Muse around, he was quite glad to have met her and not had to struggle on his own.
"You too Muse..."
Soon after he said those words, he drifted off into a light sleep.

When Muse awoke, it was much later in the day. In fact, the sun was slowly settling down for the night behind clouds. Stretching, the demonic griff stood up and walked over to the water. Sleep still clung to her eyes as she dipped her head in the water for a long drink. Opening her violet eyes slowly, she let out a yelp as she jumped back from the water.
"I grew! I am an adult!" Muse practically fell back in shock.
Turning around to look at her little brother, she gave another squawk of surprise. "You are no longer little brother! You are a child now!"

It took Onarasuto a little longer to wake up, but when he did, he noticed that things seemed to seem a little smaller. Blinking, he stood up and stretched out his limb before he heard Muse's exclamation.
"What?"
Looking up at her, he saw that she was still bigger than him, but she was also a lot bigger than she was before. In fact, she appeared to be fully grown now.
"Wow. You've grown quite a bit."
Then walking over to the water, he glanced down to see what exactly she had meant with her squawking. In a way, he was shocked to see himself, since he looked quite different than he did before when he was merely a hatchling. Grinning at this, he looked up at his demonic big sister, he flapped his wings for a moment.
"And so have I... This means I can start trying to fly!"

Muse pranced about happily. She was grown and probably prettier than that two-faced whelp WindDancer! If the males of her former tribe could see her now! Chirping happily, she looked back at Onarasuto with joy in her eyes; they shone a brilliant amethyst instead of their usual violet.
"This is perfect! We can now officially travel the whole valley and forest. I shall teach you how to fly and hunt. Then I can take you to the mountains..." Muse went on excitedly.
Something beneath the water began to glint as the sun lowered in the sky. Flashing and creating rainbows, it waited to be discovered. It was a pendant lost long ago with precious jewels stuck in it... A treasure once held dear by a tribe far to the south and west.
Muse caught the glinting out of the corner of her eye. Turning from Ona, she looked over the edge of the water. "What do you think that is?"

Stretching his wings out again as he was eager to start flying as soon as he could. Then tucking them back in, he grinned at Muse and nodded at her comments before looking around. Everything really did seem a lot smaller to him now that he had grown. And he was sure he'd feel this way once more once he reaches his full size.
Turning towards the water as his older sister mentioned something there, Onarasuto blinked while gazing at the glint of light within the pond.
"Hm.. Perhaps some sort of metal. Something that once belonged to another creature?"
He really wasn't too sure what it was really, but that was his best guess about what the object could be.
