I would think an FF7 anime series would be great! For starters it wouldn't take as long as doing it in CGI... They did a good job on Last Orders.

A movie about the whole game would be one LONG a** movie and then would spoil the game for anyone who've never played it and then no one would buy the game. It'd be entertaining to watch for the people who did play it though... even if it is a 47 hours long movie.
