FF7: REEVE! *crowd Goes wild!* AND CAIT SITH! *Crowd=Wild* and I suppose THE PINK MOOGLE THINGY! *Crowd=slightly roused* Reeve and Cait Sith are just plain Fantaculous! The fact that the two are together for a lot of Dirge of Cerberus acting like two seperate entities makes me oh so oodles of happy!
FF8: Zell! He's such a goofus, and I love on the first disc when he punches the train floor and everything flickers and stuff
FF9: Vivi! He's just so cute! I love anything short, with no face and cute little glowing yellow eyes! (i.e. tiny black mages, and Jawas!)
FF10: Rikku Rikku Rikkuuuuuuu! She's so silly and peppy and bouncy! I loved her Al Bhed Outfit from the beggining!
FF10-2: I can't decide on either Rikku or Gippal. Rikku tends to have the cutest Dresspheres (looks of them) and the best in-battle quotes, but Gippal is.... Gippal!
But Reeve and Cait Sith win out overall! *Drools over the idea of Puppet yaoi!*

I've played more Final Fantasy since I joined the guild so I would like to add.
For Final Fantasy VII, I want to add Zack and Aeris. Zack KICKS a**! Oh my god he is so awesome in the anime short. What's it called again? Last Call? Mission? Whatever it's called, he rocked. I know Cloud was kind of zombieish because he'd been tested on, but while he was sitting, leaning against the sword, Zack was saving the day and dodging bullets. Even at his best, Cloud couldn't do that. Zack is so cool, four out of five of the kingdom's mad men believe they are him...Cloud included.
As for Aeris, she is offically the first healer that I enjoy fighting with. In every other game I've played where there's a character that heals, they're useless in a fight for anything else. MP runs out, you're screwed. Not with Aeris. Maybe it's just because I've gotten good with her, but with her staff, she's a tough little thing. She's a FLOWER GIRL and she's standing side by side with trained fighters and a ninja.
I finally played Final Fantasy IX recently. I love Zidane. I loved the little guy before I even played the game. I bought one of those mystery boxes and Zidane was the figure inside. I put him together and set him on my dash board of my car. Every time I took a turn, he'd slide. I fell in love and bought the game on eBay because of that figure. Plus he's such a pirate! Ok, I know he isn't really, but he's a theif, he uses a sword, he rides on air ships that LOOK like pirate ships, he uses a sword, and he kidnapped a princess...See where I'm going with this? I also adore EVERYthing about Vivi. He is so freaking CUTE! Everyone in that game is chibi, but he's like extra chibi or something. And Kuja...he's just pretty.
On a more general note, I also love Tornberries and Chocobos...In turn, chocobos love Zack...or at least according to a fanfic I read they do.

my fav. female FF character has to be rikku!! she's so kawaii and jumpy and friendly just like me blaugh yuna is not bad either, but i'm not as mature as her sweatdrop my fav. male character is squall, vincent, and tidus!! at first, i thought tidus is really cute but then i really like squall's personality and smile stressed vincent is just hott!! rofl

my fav is vincent and sephiroth. vincent because i can feel the pain he felt when he is holding onto his sins. sephiroth because he seems misunderstood and just want someone to understand him. (but thats not his face)

Favorite ff girl= ^^ the great Ninja yuffie kisaragi of course, and also freya cresent from ff9, I dunno why, I just love her XD

I absolutely LOVE Laguna and Reno and Sephiroth and Vincent (i can't choose which one I like best... -_-)!!! And Yuffie Kisaragi of course! Except when she stole all of my materia in Wutai... then I kind of wanted to kill her... xD

*is going old school* My favorite characters are Rydia, Edge and Kain from FF4 even though Kain pisses me off alot in that game.. Faris is so funny in FF5. I swore it was the prettiest man I ever saw but she's a chick! xd FF6, Terra and Locke. Sabin is cool too. His little combo things are fun too. Helps break up the normal FF battle monotiny. OH and BM from FF1. I know they don't have personality on FF1 but 8 bit theater makes him hilarious. xd
I also like Vincent and Vivi. I'm going to get a poster of Vincent and hang it on my wall. whee
