To be honest, I'm a huge fan of CliffxNel. It's not something you really see in the game, but they are so cute together in the manga. The scene where Cliff calls Nel hot and she gets all flustered is adorable. o.o

I love the Albel and Nel stories that have either Albel torturing her or them in a dangerous relationship.
I dunno. I just do. It goes with their personalities. I don't like fluffy ones, but they are okay, I guess.
I don't really like Albel and Fayt together because nowadays, in fanfiction, Albel seems like such a sissy and Fayt is.... Un-Fayt. Ah well. To each their own.
Well.... It all depends no who's fanfiction you're reading. If it's a bad writer or a good writer.
