A young girl of 15 enters the tavern wearing a simple, normal dress of a maid of lower standing, yet clearly not to bad off. She glances around and notices both an elf, which peeks her interest, her being a curious person and very interested in tales of far off things. She smiles and nods politely to the elf maid.

the girl then also notices others about the tavern, including another elf reading an interesting book, something about social economic standing, what was that suppose to be?

The girl sits at a table nearer where this elf sits, yet not so close as to draw any attention. She tries to not pry or disrupt this elf as she sits there, glancing at the book title every now and then. Finally her curiousity gets the better of her.

"Excuse me" she says meekly, "I'm really sorry to bother you, and I don't mean to pry, but your book as peeked my interest. What does it mean, socio-economic standing?" she askes, being still very conservative in any thoughts she has about men and women's place or anything and not quite even understanding the title.

the girl nodded, "oh...yeah, I guess I never reallly thought about our being...overlooked" she said, still thinking through what this elf had said. She shrugged, "Well, atleast I know some men who seem to appreciate us women; my cousin Colin lets me help him with our horses alot, he's gonna even pass the trade down to me; but I guess that's what you were talking about earlier".

The girl shook her head, "I'm sorry, here I am spilling my family history to you, and even before I tell you my name" she said, mentaly kicking herself. "I'm Emilia".

Acknowledging the man's reticence, she kept her distance and noted the new recruit. Estelyn patted her shoulder amiably, muttering some basic instructions. Sighing, she hoisted a wooden sign in the window: "GONE FISHING". Slinging her fishing rod over her shoulder (and nearly hitting a customer with the line), she called, "Behave yourselves!" And with a short wave, she was gone.

He blew out a small sigh of relief as the tender left, and ducked as the line went whizzing over his head. He muttered to himself as he sipped his ale and listened to those all around him. The two females were talking of every day life stuff, nothing of importance. He frowned as he drank. Nothing in this Tavern either. Oh well... might as well enjoy the drink.

Emilia looked at the book in interest, yet when the elf offered to let her keep it, the girl turned a surprised look over to her. "Oh!...I didn't mean to...I mean...". She finally just smiled at the offer, "Thanks".

She picked in up with almost as much reverence as Keldan had laid it down with and began flipping through.

Ithilvalan looked up, seeing a few new faces enter the tavern. She smiled. Good. She always liked large audiences. Placing an old case, almost as weatherbeaten as her cloak, onto a table, she opened it and admired her fiddle lovingly. It had been with her through thick and thin, tracing back to be older than many of her forefathers.

Passed down through generations, her family had all played in instrument or other. Taking the protective cloth from it, she cleaned off excess rosin and placed it down. Rosining her bow, she tucked her violin under her chin, bringing her bow across the A string for a note to tune. Wincing at the slightly flattish sound, she tweaked the pegs until a solid A resonated throughout the room. After cross-tuning her other strings, Ithilvalan decided on a lively dance that they used to do in her home in the Eastfold and struck up the fast paced tune.

A young girl with odd blue hair walked into the tavern, and was met by the sweet sound of a violin. Being a fiddler herself, she soon settled down in a chair to listen.

She noticed several elves in the room, one of whom was reading a book about women in the third age. 'What a strange topic.' She thought to herself and decided to ask about it later.

Looking at the menu, she decided to order a sundae..

The man frowned somewhat at that news. Sauron had been overthrown. Oh well, he was not his Master. No. Sauron's mentor was his Master. The lord Melkor. He chuckled somewhat as he drank from his drink again. Stupid Sauron and his ideas of ruling the land. He wasn't even half as powerful as their Master. He knew that if the Master had returned, that Sauron would have been put into his place rather quickly.

Daedraug sighed as he finished off his mug and quickly ordered another. Sauron would have eventually been destroyed, but it was rather disheartening. Sauron had been part of the plan for the Master's return. He'd have to figure out the loophole for that.
