Nodding his head Kin Jiro replies, "That was too easy if you ask me, though, she seems to be a very caring, kind, and lonely adult so it makes sense that she wants to help us. With so much room at her house I’m sure she’ll let you live there with her since I have a home and you don’t. While she has a home, though, she doesn’t have anyone there to keep her company or a young one to take care of." As he smiles up he thanks her, "Thank you for complimenting me on my climbing and us on how cute we are. If Victor wasn’t too busy trying to playfully chew on your ear while excited about having someplace to stay even if it is for tonight. Then again, being as lonely as you are and more than willing to adopt I feel rather sure that you will adopt Victor so you have someone to spend time with. While you would be giving him two things he needs the most and that’s a home and a Mother. You are obviously prepared to be one because you showed concern for me when you realized how high I had climbed to see you. Though, I bet I can’t climb as well as you can because you are older, stronger, and weren’t carrying someone your own weight and height around. I would explain what happened, though, I don’t think this is the time for that story. While there is time to introduce myself, I’m Kin Jiro." As it all sinks in he becomes rather excited, "It’s really nice of you to let us stay with you until one of my family members comes to get me. While it’s nice of you to want to adopt someone that doesn’t have a family seeing as I can’t take Victor home now. It’ll be fun to visit him at your house and while there maybe can teach us how to take care of a house? When I’m older I feel like I would want to live in one because they are safe and warm like you said." After that Kin Jiro tries jumping up to chew on her left ear seeing as even if they can’t reach her ears to chew on them they are still having a good time trying their best.

Ruby clears her throat which gets them to move back and sit down in front of her so they can carefully listen to whatever she’s going to say. As she looks at both Victor and Kin Jiro her smile only brightens as they move back to sit down, "My title is Lady, first name is Ruby, middle name is Amethyst, and last name is Heart. So you can call me Ruby unless Victor wants to call me Mother because I am more than willing to keep him as my own. It’ll be nice to have someone around that I can take care of until they become old enough so that we could help each other. While it would be nice to have someone around to help me while I take the time to teach them all that I know." Reaching up she gently pats Victor’s head a few times, "I’m not sure if I have any family so I would enjoy to have company for as long as you want to live with me. You are both welcome for compliment about you being cute seeing and you are even cute when you are trying to chew on someone’s ears." Ruby giggles a bit before she continues talking, "I can’t wait until we get to my house so we can play around until the two of you become too tired to play anymore. Then I could carry you up to the guest bedroom where I can tuck you in for the night." She coos, "I’d be happy to let Victor live with me for as long as he wants and once you’ve grown up Kin Jiro you can move in as well. The more the merrier and with so much room in my house it won’t be a problem." Sitting down Ruby can only imagine how helpful they could be, "I bet the two of you learn quickly and that you won’t mind helping me around the house because I would never pick a job that the two of you couldn’t handle. You can help me with the safer parts of the recipes when cooking and or baking because I’ll handle the rest. While gardening is safe enough so if the two of you don’t mind getting your paws dirty I could really use some help in my backyard." While laying down they race over to successfully chew on her ears causing her to giggle so much that she almost can’t say what she has to. "Come on you two, get on my back so I can make my way home now that I have my messenger bag and the two of you. With it being so late already I’ll need time to prepare dinner if you plan on eating tonight."

Victor and Kin Jiro stop chewing on her ears because he does want to eat dinner tonight. As he sits in front of her he smiles happy that he finally has a home to call his own, "It’s nice to meet you Ruby, though, Lady sounds like an important title so you must be someone of importance. Though, Mother sounds much better now that I have one and I can’t wait to get home. Knowing that both Kin Jiro and you will take care of me because Kin Jiro is too young to take care of me all by himself. Seeing as I have a lot of training to get to if I ever want to be half as good as Kin Jiro when it comes to running and climbing. Knowing that if he tried taking care of me without help from an adult he could hurt himself or get sick. One can only do so much to take care of and protect someone their own age when they are so young." As Victor walks over to her side to jump up Kin Jiro comes up behind him to help even if he didn’t ask him for help. Once Victor is on her back Kin Jiro leaps up behind Victor to make sure that he doesn’t fall off of Ruby. Victor quickly points it out to her even if she does know what’s going on, "See Mother, Kin Jiro is my friend, protector, and my body guard who helps me even when I don’t ask for help. As well as times when I don’t even need his help because I could have made it onto your back, though, it was kind of him to help me." Blushing he holds onto the back of Ruby’s neck as she starts to stand up to make her way to their home now that he’s her adoptive Son.

Giggling, "Of course I’m your friend, protector, and your body guard because you need a friendly body guard to keep you safe and out of trouble. I won’t let anything bad happen to you if I can help it and if something does happen I can do my best to take care of you." As he continues to hold onto Ruby he moves his head to nuzzle Victor’s back, "Ruby is so nice to be your Mother and even more so to invite me to live with the two of you once I’m older. Knowing that I wouldn’t leave my family until after I’ve grown because I don’t ever want to leave you. Of course, it’s not because I don’t think Ruby can handle taking care of you because I am one hundred percent positive she will do a great job keeping you safe. Anyone that wants to hurt you will have to get past Ruby to do so and I have a feeling that once she finds someone to treasure and cherish she will move anyone or anything out of the way to get to you and or to keep you safe. If you ask me Ruby looks like the type of creature who would never back down from a fight if it meant keeping someone else safe and or giving them enough time to get away. Which means she reminds me of myself, though, not as quick to help someone that can help themselves. Seeing as you are right when you said you could have gotten onto her back without my help. It’s just that I enjoy helping so and I don’t want to leave you because we enjoy each other’s company and when I go home I’ll miss you." After that Kin Jiro yawns while stretching a bit before he curls up to rest while Ruby and Victor talk.

While slowing down Ruby looks over her right shoulder just in time to see Kin Jiro falling asleep before she turns her attention to where she going. As she picks up her pace she coos, "I guess we can get to know a bit about each other now that Kin Jiro is falling asleep since you are the one that will be living with me. Don’t take that the wrong way because I think it’ll be wonderful for Kin Jiro to visit us as often as possible. Though, I’m not sure what we should talk about so if you have any ideas of what we can talk about I’ll be fine with going along with whatever you want to talk about. Truth be told all that is going through my mind is getting home, preparing dinner and mint tea, eating dinner, fixing up the guest bedroom for the both of you, and then getting the two of you to bed. That way I won’t have to worry about where the two of you are going to sleep because my bedroom is off limits for the time being. Having lived by myself for so long I never got around to really keeping my bedroom safe for little ones. Of course, the rest of the house is safe enough other than my bedroom, the kitchen when I’m not around, and the dining room when I’m not around. Once Kin Jiro goes home it’ll be the two of us so we’ll have more than enough time to get to know each other." Seeing as it’s getting late she picks up her pace again which causes Victor to realize just how fast she can really go if that wasn’t going as fast as she could before. Then a thought comes to mind and Ruby asks, "Do you like berries, fruits, and vegetables?" It's not much, though, it's a place to start to get to know more about her Son and what he likes or dislikes.

Nodding his head a bit to agree with her, "Getting home in time to prepare dinner sounds good to me because I am starting to get a bit hungry. And I understand, though, I’m so happy just to have a home that it doesn’t matter if a certain room or rooms are off limits to me. As for berries, fruits, and vegetables I like certain ones, though, I can’t remember which ones I like or dislike at this moment. Once the next day comes around you can show me around your garden so I can see everything that you are growing. Which may or may not help me to remember what I like or dislike just by looking at them so I’ll have to try each berry, fruit, and vegetable that you are growing. Of course, whatever you make for us to eat will be good because Kin Jiro and I can help you unless we are too busy playing by then. Anyways, it’s been a while since I had anything to eat so I’m more than willing to try whatever dinner you make. Now that we are talking about food we should talk about drinks to go with the food. What sort of drinks do you like? You brought up berries, fruits, and vegetables so I’m going to guess you like to make those into drinks. Though, I’m guessing only if they taste good as a drink seeing as all because you like eating something doesn’t mean you will still like it as a drink. I like fruit juice, yet, not all fruit juice out there just certain flavors such as apple, grape, orange, and maybe a few others that I just can’t remember. Of course, water is perfectly fine as long as it’s crystal clear which I guess it means it’s clean and looks clear like a crystal." After yawning he tried not to fall asleep because it would be rude and he wants to learn more about his Mother. Then a thought comes to mind, "Will you need help cleaning up the quest bedroom for us? I’m more than willing to help you because you’ve been so nice to us." Thinking it through a bit he asks, "Do you have other bedrooms and or quest bedrooms in your house? I’m curious because you didn’t bring any others up and I was wondering if that’s because the quest bedroom you are talking about is the closest to your bedroom. Seeing as you’d want me as close to you as possible without me being in your bedroom which isn’t little one proofed."

With a nod Ruby coos, "Alright, I’ll make a fruit salad for you and hope that you like it and everything in it. If not you can always take whatever you don’t like out to place it on a plate because I am perfectly happy with eating whatever Kin Jiro and you don’t want. And I do enjoy fruit juice, though, like you I only enjoy certain ones seeing as fruit doesn’t always taste good as a drink. While I’m sure that is why others say crystal clear when they are talking about water because it’s clean and does look clear like a crystal now that I think about it. Of course, if you don’t like any of the fruit juices that I have I would be more than willing to go out of my way to make you some juice that you will enjoy. I have more than enough fruits while I also have enough berries and vegetables because a combination of any of those three could be good. Though, we can mix and match juice after you’ve settled into your new bedroom and your new house. While I would love some help cleaning up your bedroom because the other quest bedrooms are further away which means I don’t clean them as often as I clean that one. Seeing as I use that one for my extra stuff so I can clean all of my stuff out unless you don’t mind for the time being. I can always put it into another room because I’m not sure I’ll be inviting anyone else to live with me anytime soon. Which means I’ll have plenty of time to help you paint your bedroom which every color and or colors you want it to be. As well as any sort of pattern and or patterns because I want your bedroom to be a place you enjoy being in during the day and more so during the night. While all of the furniture still looks like the day I bought it so if you like any from the other quest bedrooms just let me know. Tomorrow I’ll need some help with washing and drying everything in your bedroom because it’s been a few months since I washed the pillow cases, pillows, and blankets." When she remembers what he said about not eating for a while she picks up her pace while still keeping it smooth enough not to wake Kin Jiro.

While nuzzling the back of his Mother’s neck he realizes that she didn’t answer certain things which is understandable because her mind is full of thoughts like his. Having just found Kin Jiro and himself she must be wondering what sorts of food and drinks to prepare for them. As well as how much she has to clean in his bedroom so that tomorrow night everything will smell fresh. Before he forgets he replies, "I would love to help you prepare the fruit salad, fruit juice, and any sort of other juice you might want to make. While I would also be more than willing to help you with any sort of pasta salad and or salad if we have time before it gets too late. If not I’m sure we will have plenty of time after tonight to make all sorts of interesting and unique recipes. Of course, if Kin Jiro does wake up I’m sure he would be glad to help me while I’m helping you which means I could do more to help you. Seeing as Kin Jiro seems to be rather fond of me I am sure he wouldn’t mind helping me even if it’s to help someone else. After dinner if I’m not too tired I could help you wash the pillow cases, pillows, and blankest from the other guest bedrooms." As his mind wanders he thinks about something, "It’ll be sad when Kin Jiro has to go home, though, someone will come to get him since that’s what family does? They go out of their way to find whoever got themselves lost so that they can take them back home where they will be safe. Because that’s what family does?" Victor isn’t too sure because having a family is too new for him, though, he’s sure that’s what would happen. Of course, all families are different so it all depends on their family members and if they miss whoever isn’t there.

After a while of running Ruby gets to their house and begins to slow down because the idea of running into their front door sounds rather unpleasant. Once she slows down enough she looks over her shoulder to make sure that her Son’s awake before looking where she is walking so she doesn’t walk into anything. Now knowing that he’s still awake Ruby answers her Son, "I would love any sort of help no matter how small it might be because even the smallest things can be helpful. If you want to help me in our kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms, and or any other part of the house I will gladly accept it as long as you are careful. While I will be just as glad to accept any help you wish to give me while outside of our house because the yard needs some tending to. Of course I would say you don’t have to unless you want to, though, you gave me the impression that you really want to help me. If Kin Jiro is truly that fond of you, which I am sure he is, then he may help you to help me. Though, I can picture the two of you playing when you aren’t eating, drinking, napping, and or helping me around the house and the yard." Nodding her head a bit she replies, "As for families I think you are right about what you said because all families are different and certain ones won’t care if someone is missing. While certain other families will care if someone is missing and won’t stop looking until they have been found and safely returned home. If you are worried about Kin Jiro you don’t have to because he can stay at our house until someone comes for him. Once someone has come for him I will gladly explain that he can come and visit us whenever he wants to no matter what time it is. While he is more than willing to bring a family member or more with him if he wants to show them around or to introduce them to me." Once Ruby gets to the door she carefully unlocks it trying not to move in a way that would cause Kin Jiro to fall off of her back. Then as she walks through the doorway she continues to make her way to the living room and the couch. Victor leapt off her back and hurried to the door to close and lock it since it was the helpful thing to do. While giggling a bit she instead decides to make her way to the kitchen where she carefully takes her messenger bag off then hands it to Victor. Lowering her head Victor gets the hint and leap onto her head before she lifts it up so that he can jump onto the counter. Having placed it on a good enough spot he jumps onto her head then back down to the floor. Making her realize that both Kin Jiro and Victor are good at certain things and jumping is Victor’s. Smiling she coos, "That was wonderful my Son and I hope you know just how good you are at jumping. I must admit that if Kin Jiro and you trained each other the both of you will grow up to do amazing things. Also, thank you so very much for closing and locking the door as well as placing my messenger bag on the table for me. If I can only teach you one thing it will be that the little things are truly helpful and truly matter."

Victor both smiles and blushes when his Mother compliments and thanks him, "Thank you very much for point that out to me because I hadn’t noticed how good I was at jumping. Sometimes it’s hard to realize how good we are at something until someone else points it out to us. Your welcome, I’m glad that little things help because there are always plenty of those to help others with. Being so small I can get under furniture that you can’t reach under to clean and who knows what I might find. So many different items could have rolled under and or you could have accidentally kicked something under the furniture and forgot all about it. So when tomorrow comes around I can both help you clean and find what you might have lost. Of course, if you need the top of something cleaned you can always lift me up on your head like a bit ago when you helped me to help you. It was easy getting to the table with your messenger bag once you handed your messenger bag to me then lowered your head which was hint enough for me. Once we get our house clean enough I can always help you fix whatever is broken that can be repaired and or put back together like some sort of puzzle. Seeing as teamwork always works and I don’t know as much as fixing items as you do so I’d like to learn from you as well as point out whatever I notice that you might not." Leaping onto a nearby chair he then leaps back up to the table so he can pull them out then make three piles with them. The first is for the smallest leaves, the second for the medium leaves, and the third for the largest leaves. It’s the least he can do because she’s done so much for both of them and while he helps with the mint leaves she can take Kin Jiro to bed. What he meant as a nap quickly turned into a deep and probably dream filled sleep which he won’t be waking up from anytime soon. After she leaves the kitchen he finishes up with the mint leaves then carefully makes his way to the fridge to see what he can take out so he can start preparing dinner.

After walking away Ruby made her way to her Son’s bedroom as Victor takes care of the mint leaves and maybe more. It doesn’t take that long to pile leaves so she’s sure that Victor is already finding something else to help her with. Moving at a good enough pace it still takes her a while to get to Victor’s bedroom as she feels confident that her Son won’t get into trouble. Or at least he won’t purposefully get himself into trouble because he’s only trying to help her get dinner ready. If he runs out of things to help her with and or things to organize she’s sure that he’ll wait until she returns so they can talk more. Though, those thoughts are quickly pushed away with thoughts of Kin Jiro’s family members and Parents and what they might be doing. 'Do they know he’s missing? If so, will they know where to start looking for Kin Jiro? Or will they follow his scent to where he is?' Than a rather frightening thought occurs to her, 'What if someone followed us here without my knowing about it?' If someone did follow her home it means she’s not as aware of her surroundings as she thinks she is which doesn’t give her a good feeling. Even if they are family, though, more so if they are someone that wishes to harm and or kill them? Shaking her head she tries to shake those thoughts away as she makes her way over to Victor’s bed. Once she gets to his bed she carefully leaps up without Kin Jiro falling off and once hew paws touch the bed she makes her way towards the pillows. Before she places him down she fixes the pillows a bit then turns her head to gently bite the tuft of fur on the back of his neck. After placing him on the pillow nest she made she looks over the bed to find that it’s clean enough since she can’t find any dust anywhere. She really had done a good enough job keeping this room clean even if it wasn’t in use. Pulling the blanket up she gently places it over him while keeping it off of his head because she knows she would freak out if she woke up to find something over her head. After that she kisses his forehead then turns to see if she can help Victor with anything.

While Victor is alone in the kitchen he takes his time to organize everything in the fridge that he can reach without and with the help of a chair. Because the freezer is too high he’s decided to organize that once he’s grown up. Of course, his Mother had already organized half of the food and drink items in the fridge which means he ran out of things to organize after a while. After that he went around the kitchen organizing everything else with or without the aid of the chair. It wasn’t long before he had nothing to do in the kitchen so he headed into the dining room to look around. To his surprise he finds lots of sparkly, glittery, shiny, and clear items behind glass doors a good three or so feet high. They don’t need organizing because they all look neat and tidy where they are so he quickly hurries out of the dining room not wishing anything bad to happen. If something did happen he’d be blamed which he would understand because they look old and expensive. Anything that nice must be easily broken and must have cost a lot because all nice things come at a price. Making his way to the living room he hurries under the couch because it’s safe enough or so he thinks. As Victor places his front right paw it touches something smooth and made out of metal which he wasn’t expecting. His leg slips causing him to fall while gasping from both surprise from the metal and shock from slipping on it. When his chin hits the metal hard he whimpers in pain and discomfort before he gives a huff of annoyance with himself for not looking where he was walking. Victor carefully moves back so he doesn’t slip again because once was one too many times for him. As he looks at it he finds it’s rather interesting because it appears to be a silver tray which one severs fancy foods, drinks, and or desserts upon. How it ever managed to get under the couch is a mystery which he hopes to figure out at some point in time. While he looks at the silver tray he realizes that he’s seen something like that before. Though, he can’t recall just where or why he would have seen one outside and on the ground of all places.

Waking into the kitchen she instantly realizes that she doesn’t hear him which causes panic to flow through her veins like poison. If she wasn’t capable to control her emotions she would have rushed around the house half crazed with worry and fear for her Son. When a thought comes to mind Ruby calms herself then uses her sense of smell to guide her because his paws smell like mint she will surely find him. Even if he didn’t touch the mint she already had a good enough memory of his scent and would have found him sooner or later. As she fallows the minty trail she realizes he went around the entire kitchen to organize everything she hadn’t had time to do earlier that day. While following the outside of the kitchen she quickly finds the trail leads into the dining room which she enters. She quickly walks through without stopping to look around because she’s concerned about her Son and if he’s alright. Reaching the living room she finds herself going towards the couch where she remembers hiding that silver tray that she doesn’t want. Seeing as she has no idea what to do with it or where to put it because it’s no use to her. Once she was settled in she wanted to befriend others, though, she never got around to it because there is always something to do. Getting to the couch she sticks her nose under and before long it touches something soft causing the Victor to cry out from being startled. Lifting the piece of fabric that hangs to the floor Ruby finds her sweet Son staring at her with large frightened eyes. Sweetly smiling Ruby reaches in while placing a paw on either side of him before pulling him out and then placing him gently on the couch. "I see you decided to walk around after you finished organizing everything you could in the kitchen. You must have been looking for more to do to help me around here, though, you scared me rather badly when I didn’t see or hear you in the kitchen when I returned. Though, I must say that you should always wait for an adult to return if you don’t know the house as well as they do because you could have gotten seriously injured. If you find something that has fabric hanging from it I expect you to lift it up and look around before you explore under it. Seeing as you never know what you will find under a couch seeing as it’s a nice enough place to keep certain things out of sight and out of mind for their own reasons." Carefully looking him over she asks with a voice filled with concern, "Are you alright? Did you hurt yourself when you found my silver serving tray? Or did you actually take the time to look around before you started to explore under there?"

Blushing brightly while feeling rather foolish for not looking under the couch before walking around under it, "No, I'm not alright. After what happened I don’t think I am alright because I didn’t look where I was walking so when I stepped onto the silver tray I slipped. When my paw slipped from under me and I fell I landed hard on my right shoulder while my chin smacked into the silver tray. Even though they hurt I know that if they were broken they would hurt a lot more and I wouldn’t be able to talk because I would probably be screaming. That is if I hadn’t fainted and or passed out from the pain because bones are so strong that if broken I could only imagine the pain they would cause." Smiling he tries to reassure her that he’s going to be just fine as his expression quickly becomes confused, "Why is this silver tray under the couch to begin with? Is there something wrong with it? Do you want to hide it because you don’t like it for some reason?" Slightly tilting his head to the left seems to hurt his chin, though, not enough to keep him from tilting his head, "Is it safe to explore under the beds and other such furniture or have you hidden other items around our house that I should be aware of?"

Ruby carefully looks him over a few times before saying anything, "I’ll have to check those spots to make sure they are just bruised because I can’t really help much if you somehow did manage to hurt any of your bones. Of course, with you being able to handle the pain well enough I have to admit that I don’t think you could have fractured and or broken any of your bones. So it should be safe enough to say that you badly bruised yourself when you hit the silver tray." While she continues to carefully look him over she reaches out to gently check the bottom of his chin and lower jaw for sore spots which she finds. Seeing as he whimpers in pain whenever she even gently touches the area causing her to worry about him. Then doing the same with his shoulder she finds a few spots there as well before she gently hugs him before she moves back a bit as she sweetly coos, "I’ll get two ice packs to make sure they don’t swell up and then I’ll explain about the silver tray. Till then I expect you to stay in one place when I leave a room." Before she walks away Ruby moves one of the pillows and lays it on its side before gently moving Victor onto the plush pillow to rest comfortably enough while she gets the ice packs. Once he seems comfortable enough she turns and heads toward the kitchen while taking the shorter route to get there by walking through the door that goes directly to the kitchen. Instead of going through the dining room to get there like Victor had done not too long ago.
