Lady Brinard Tomthetank Lady Brinard Azure Starfire Lady Brinard Azure Starfire I don't know that much more, I just happened to have played the game that is all. Why don't you have a baby Halla as a companion? http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Halla I see. In Ferelden, there are this silver creatures. stare 3nodding Well, Gaia doesn't have them. I've explained to my fawn that it can't be with me in Ferelden. It doesn't exist. Cancelled the stag. neutral You don't have to cancel it, I just thought a halla would be more fitting. As Tom says 3nodding So, are the the "First" of the clan? And what is our clan heraldry? Also, what is the clan's general standing on humans? Do we outright hate them and try to avoid them? Do we get along well with them? Do we allow trade with them or not? emotion_jawdrop emotion_facepalm What does "First" of the clan means?? cry And we're supposed to have a heraldry???? eek I'm back to the drawing board. Well, my mother hates humans. She had been a city elf. Her father was double crossed by his employer (a human) and killed. Then her mother, her older sister, and herself were sold into slavery. Her sister was forced into prostitution. My mother was too young and her mother was able to weave (which was criminal for an elf to practice). Yeah, I know slavery is illegal (except in Tevinter) but it is done all over. My grandmother gave up her life so her two daughters could escape. They made their way to where the Dalish elves dwell and were accepted into my father's clan. My Dalish grandfather trades with humans but he doesn't trust them. My Dalish grandmother's favorite saying is, "Humans are the taint!!" Then she spits on the ground. lol Back to the books!!! Being the first would make you, your clan's keeper's assistant/next in line to lead the clan. I won't force you to make a heraldry but it is typically a nature scene or depiction of a god that makes it easy to identify your clan from the others. I am more than willing to have one. I'm checking it out. BTW One of my Gaian friends went through a "ritual" that gave me the power of flame. lol (She is really something!!) Also, she gave me the "ritual" to give me the ability to rain down meteors. rofl And she wants me look like this: http://idrawgirls.com/tutorials/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/elf-elementalist.jpg rolleyes It's too bad I can't convince her to play with it. She is fantastic with role-playing. But she is more likely to be one of the Blight!!! lol She is into Gothic and is a vampire on Gaia. She calls herself the Queen of Blood. Well theoretically once we get more "battlers" I can open up the ranks for some darkspawn.

Though I will have to keep their numbers limited, perhaps one alpha per race, a single emissary..... It'll take some tweaking and of course a few more good guys.

She stated this is what I need to look like after I have gone through the fire ritual. I don't think it is possible but maybe something fairly close. http://idrawgirls.com/tutorials/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/elf-elementalist.jpg

Looks like your character is really shaping up. Mine is still really vague at this point. Does the clan have a name yet? Any significant points in the clan’s history perhaps?

Something of interest. When the children of our people came of age, they earn the privilege of wearing the vallaslin, the blood writing. It sets us apart from the shemlen, and from the elves who have thrown their lot in with them. It reminds us that we will never again surrender our traditions and beliefs. —From Codex entry: Vallaslin: Blood Writing Blood writing, or vallaslin in the elven language, is what the Dalish call the intricate facial tattoos worn by all adult clan members. The ink used to do so is considered sacred. When a Dalish elf comes of age, they prepare to gain the vallaslin by meditating on the gods and the ways of the Dalish, and by purifying the body and the skin. When the time comes, the Keeper of the clan applies the blood writing. This is done in complete silence. Cries of pain are taken as signs of weakness. If a young elf cannot tolerate the pain of the blood writing, they are deemed unready to undertake the responsibilities of an adult. The keeper may stop the ritual if they decide that the one gaining the vallaslin is not ready. Blood writing is at least in part a religious practice, and there are different designs of blood writing representing deities in the Elven Pantheon. However, it is not known whether the practice was associated with the worship of the gods in ancient Elvhenan or is a more recent development. Many young Dalish receive their vallaslin when they are around 18 years of age, or so. It is most likely that my character will be a follower of Mythal: the Great Protector

I just read about this today!!! How are we going to get tattooing? The Skin Tyte doesn't have anything we're interested in but I do after this beast tattoo. I was reading about the elven gods. I like Dirthamen: Keeper of Secrets and Knowledge.
