Hi. I'm Malveillants, or Mal.
One of my friends joined this guild and I couldn't help but want to join because it seems so much more legitimate than other art guilds.
Art has been "my thing" since I was three years old.. but in the last five years or so, I have been too busy to really work on anything worthwhile.
I don't have a particular style, but I suppose I like to draw in a comic-esque style.
I use Sai once in a while, but I use a mouse -- I have a bamboo without a pen but am too poor to afford new one. ;n;
I prefer using pens and manga copic markers.. I absolutely love sketchy-style comic // manga art.
There is always room for improvement. Always.
I want to make time for myself and my art.
I want to learn to draw better facial expressions.
I want to work on re-drawing the same characters over and over, setting proportions, and finalizing the characters.
I also need to "get" less lazy with poses -- I'm fine with them, but I never really experiment (total downfall, I know I should experiment more)
But most of all, I just want to improve and make time for said improvement.
I tend to be very busy and my artwork suffers because the most I have time to pump out are sketches. One day, I'd like to start a real comic or write and illustrate my own childrens' books. c:

Art is everything I'am!
I love arts and crafts. Whether its playing instruments or sketching a little cartoon. I'm really interested in new ideas or new ways of drawing. I don't really have a set style that I draw. I have a little bit of everything in my sketch pads. I try to find new and interesting tid bits to keep my sketch pad looking up to date.
I'm always willing to listen to critiques, I might not always agree, but I do take them seriously.
I always try to challenge myself. Sometimes I surprise myself .
Mostly I just want to meet like minded people and discover new talents

Hi, I'm Sachi here but I'm usually called Mamio elsewhere. But to avoid confusion, just call me Sachi. xd
I've been drawing on and off for a few years, but it's only recently that I've started taking it seriously.
My art style is... pretty inconsistent, so I don't know how to call it. sweatdrop
That's because I keep trying out new styles as I observe other artists. But lately I think I'm beginning to develop a style of my own. 3nodding
I do both digital and traditional art, but now I'm mostly focusing on traditional since my dream is to get a manga published locally... someday... in the distant future... I hope. redface For traditional, I use pencil and ink.
I'm a college student taking up computer science, but I wish I took up fine arts instead. sad
I want to improve faster (since I'm not getting any younger, lol) in manga style art. Things I have to work on are drawing clothes (oh God, fold and frills) and background. I'm hoping I will be able to find a sensei who's willing to teach me, that's why I came here. xd

Hey, my username is BellaMorticia, so I guess you can call me Morticia or Mort or M or whatever you want..
I've been artistic my whole life, but I only became serious about it in about 7th or 8th grade.
I'm now set in my lofty, idealistic goal of becoming a successful, independent artist - aka one who isn't starving. xd
I started out trying to be photorealistic, but I'm too lazy for all the details, so my style is just kind of... my version of realistic. I've been trying out more cartoony and stylized forms lately.
I mainly do traditional art, drawing, painting, etc., but I'm trying to get used to my tablet. I do a lot of pencil drawings. A lot.
Because of my horrible combination of perfectionism and anxiety, I am extremely shy about trying new things and very easily discouraged. So while I can draw realistic young female figures and faces quite well, I need to work on clothes, age, guys, color, shading, backgrounds, animals, and basically everything else in the world. sweatdrop

Hello, you can call me Tea. I'm 24, and I've been drawing since at least middle school. I've gone a few years without seriously considering my art. As a result, I am INCREDIBLY rusty, and I feel like everything I put out either looks the same or is just.. too sketchy. I hope to improve on that, and maybe even provide some sort of help. My job is one that, thankfully, provides me with a good chunk of time where I have little to do but stand around doing nothing, and since boredom was the reason I started drawing to begin with, I see this as good of an excuse as any to seriously reboot myself. Was browsing through some art guilds and came upon here ^^
So I'm Razvedel, but I prefer to be called Raz smile
I've been drawing for as long as i can remember. Like from early childhood up to this day [I'm 20 now btw]
All my art is basically anime style. That's the style I grew up with.
Before, I stuck to traditional drawing with pencils, techpens, oil pastels and acrylic paints.
Now I'm trying to improve myself with digital arts biggrin Like digital painting and coloring without the lineart.
I'm currently working on a request from me on deviantart and some other arts that I'll put on an online portfolio =w=

Hii guys! My name is Jiyori, that's literally just a way to sound out my RL name so need for nicknames, though sometimes good friends call me Roady or something along those lines because of old friend fandom stuff. Anyway, I've been drawing since I was a wee thing and I can't really remember how long, but I know it's been my whole life. I've always known I wanted to be an artist, but only now am I trying to find myself and take it seriously, so I feel like I'm way behind where I should be. I started with anime style, but I'm working towards finding my own while still sticking to my roots. I'll always be a comic book fan in the end, but I love to do character designs as well. My favorite utensils are a pen and paper. There's something about drawing straight with a pen that I love. I'm obsessed with sketchbooks too, and I recently got into watercolor paints as well as Copic markers. I also do digital art, however my tablet is broken atm, so that's a no go for now.Traditional will always be my favorite over all. I'm also constantly in an artist block, and I'm hoping making artist friends and meeting new people with different ideas would help me work my way out of that! Uhhm... Newbie hern. So I'm D Glitch. I've been drawing for 3 years. I'm into manga artstyle. I use mechanical pencil and colored pencils. I'm not a pro, but I'll try my best to become one!

Hello everyone! I am thegaysquid but people just call me Squid. :3 I have been drawing since sixth grade and im a senior in highschool now. I work with graphite pencils, acrylic paint, watercolors, oil pastels, crayons and colored pencils, markers, whatever I can get my hands on basically. I started drwing mainly anime styled art. I am currently branching out of that. I absolutely love to draw and paint, but I am almost always at an artist block. I love making new friends, so, I am hoping this group will tackle two birds with one stone by helping me form new relationships while also helping get those creative juices flowing. 4laugh I cant wait to get to know you all! heart

Um, hi smile
Joined to look for some inspiration/advice/criticism.
I draw using traditional media, but recently got a tablet and am attempting to use it. Using pencils/pens/paint I can copy pretty much anything to a near photorealistic standard, but I am bloody terrible at drawing in anything approaching manga style. Also finding it really difficult to make something completely imagined look halfway decent.
So yeah, looking to branch out - help is appreciated. I am a complete anime noob.
Oh yeah, I'm also game for pretty much any crafting thing out there. Pretty good with fiddly stuff.

Hi!
I'm Sesshirou- I've just joined the guild by recommendation of the guild captain! I've been drawing for forever even though I've never really had any formal training....I just watched lots of anime/cartoons and picked up a pen and imitated the style....so my style is largely anime based. I do tons of pencil/paper sketches and recently I've taken to try to Cging it- I'm pretty primitive with my CG skills- I don't have photoshop or Sai or anything- I downloaded GIMP because it was free....and even on GIMP I only know how to use the pen/stroke tool and bucket fill....haha so I can do lineart/cellshading? I'd really love to improve my CGing skills- my way of doing it is just no efficient at this point! With the raw drawing part I'd love to improve my anatomy/proportion- I'm quite terrible at hands so I need lots of help with that....I also want to do more dynamic poses! And practice drawing men in general.
I hope yo become acquainted with you all and hopefully we can all improve together!

Yo, my online name is Shinzo and my real name is Dylan. Iv'e been drawing for 3 years and i continue to draw almost everyday!
The main style i draw in is an anime style but when i use my tablet i go for a painterly style drawing. I have so much room to improve on and some examples are anatomy, colors, having a steady hand, and well everything. I hope to be able to draw more professinally in the future and hopefully get a job in the game development industry for a illustrator or concept artist.
This will be a fun guild to be in to discuss art and help eachother! I hope we all get along in a happy manner 3nodding

hi guys, im vivi :3
ive been drawing since forever, but i got a tablet at age 12 so thats the start of my digital era lmao, thought then again at first i did only pixel dolls, then got frustrated with the lack of characterization and moved on to baseless and then digital
but ive been drawing decently since two-three years ago, when i opened a shop in gaia and practiced night and day xD
dont get me wrong, i still think i suck sometimes, but a year of gross anatomy and a whole lot of practice helped me improve (plus the fact that i seduced current bf with art teehee)
anyway
my style is cartooney, i wouldnt call it anime or realistic, just idk whatever
its somewhy more cartooney when i use my tablet, and more realisticish when i draw with gel pens (tho thats mostly notebook doodles because it stresses me to no end that mistakes are permanent)
i need to work on my poses, and reviewing anatomy... lately ive been drawing superthin stick figures and i really should flesh them out a bit more, without making them look superthick or something
aaand im not really working towards anything in particular, art is a beloved hobby but id never pick it as a career because it would stop being relaxing to draw sad
of course id love to improve, and maybe someday do hq art like my sempais
a girl can dream right :'3

I've been drawing since I was 7 but I don't practice it much
so I guess I'm a noob? haha
Back then I just drew stickmen and all
Whenever there are activities or projects required to draw, I guess that's the only time I do get to draw xD
Recently, I got a tablet and I've been practicing with it when I can.
I find it alot harder than drawing on paper. SO i'm still experimenting and stuck with the basics.
So it still have a lot to improve on. especially understanding the human anatomy ;w ;
