One ending. But the players choose which. Events are being put into motion that will drive them towards a certain confrontation (I.E., Boss fight). What they choose to do there will determine the outcome.

Ah, I love it when a confusing idea makes sense. It'd suck to learn that your purely evil character is working for the side fighting to kill a monster ending the world.

Well, if he liked the universe the way it was, then he could choose not to choose. It wouldn't help by that point, but he could do it. The irons are in the fire by then. All the irons. ALL OF THEM.
