Kylie hopped excitedly, "Yay Yui! That'll teach 'em!" she said as she skipped down the next path. She was really hoping that she would find the boss AND defeat it like Yui had... 'That'd be fun' she thought to herself as she grinned from ear to ear.

As Kylie skipped along excitedly, she heard something in the bushes. In hopes that it was the boss she ran at the shaking bush and hopped straight into it. She flailed about until she saw blue glowing eyes, what would she do now?

Kylie glared back at the glowing blue eyes, grabbing the pokemon and flinging it out if the bush. As it landed outside the bush and into the light, it looked absolutely mortified. Kylie stick her tongue at it then hopped towards it. The poor little pokemon ran for it's life. Kylie then blinked, not understanding how terrifying she had just looked. She grinned at her victory and looked over to her partner, "Your turn, Yui-chan" she said with a giggle. She was in high spirits and quite hyper for the moment.

Yui-chan -- that was often the nickname that Kylie called him. He smiled when she called him Yui; it was a nickname that he was quite attached to. The -chan at the end, however, he was still unsure about. It would take some time to get used to the cuter version of a nickname he was already used to. Yet the Buneary's hyperness and her high spirits seemed to be infectious toward the Spinda. He looked down the path ahead with a sudden determination and an assured nod of his head. "Let's do this." he said, continuing deeper into the forest they were exploring.

Before Yuichi had time to react, a Caterpie jumped down from a tree and landed smacked-dab in front of him. Apparently, the Bug Type was yearning for a bit of practice with his battles, and the Normal Type just happened to be the next Pokemon to come his way. Not wanting Kylie to get hurt, as she was just in an altercation herself, the Spinda stood his ground and got ready for whatever the caterpiller pokemon had to throw his way.

WIN!
The Spinda, ultimately, proved to be too quick for the Caterpie. Before the Bug Type had a chance to react, Yuichi was on him and delivering a quick tackle that sent the Caterpie tumbling backwards. The Caterpie didn't seem too pleased with losing, grumbling as he tumbled backward, but he was not a sore loser, either. He was willing to admit his defeat. Once the battle was over, the Caterpie bowed his head in thanks to Yuichi, and then went on his way. Looks like he would have to have some more practicing to do.

Upon Yuichi's win, Kylie hopped excitedly. "Yay Yuiiiiiiiii!" she said to her dear friend. She was pumped and was looking for the next room... and maybe, just maybe, it would be the boss! Kylie grabbed Yuichi's hand and ran off the next direction.

As Kylie ran off, she busted into the next room and ran straight into a bug type, nincada. She glared at it, "Your not the boss!" she mumbled at it as she prepared for battle. The nincada charged at the buneary but before it had the chance to hit Kylie, she hopped onto its head and started to pound it's head with her feet. It wasn't more than four hits to the head that the nincada flung Kylie into the air and leaped ready with a scratch. Kylie readied another pound as she started to fall towards the nincada....

Unfortunately for Kylie, her pound did manage to hit but so did the nincada's scratch. Kylie fell to the ground and held her leg, "owww" she said as she rubbed it. The nincada spat at her feet and walked off, laughing. Kylie got up and dusted the dirt off of herself then looked at Yui, "Your turn to lead... " she told him.

Kylie looked a bit down after having lost the fight with the Nincada. Before he moved anywhere, Yuichi scooched over to his partner and gave her a big hug. "You'll get the next one," he told her with a reassuring smile. Hopefully, she wouldn't let this loss get the better of her; Kylie was tough for a Buneary, though. She could handle anything as far as he was concerned. When she told him it was his turn to lead, he nodded and walked down a tree-lined path. Maybe something interesting would turn up this way?

A Weedle would turn up in front of them, apparently. That was the most interesting thing in the area that Yuichi led them too, and she didn't look happy. Apparently, she had heard the news of her friend, Caterpie, being beaten in a previous fight. Now she wanted to try her luck, or so it would seem, and avenge her friend in the process. Bug Type pokemon didn't give up so easily! Looking back at Kylie, Yuichi gave her a frown and a slight shrug before readying himself. How much more fighting was he going to have to do?

The Weedle didn't really get far in her endeavor. Much like her friend before her, Yuichi moved too quickly for her, and she was down on the ground seeing stars in a moment. The Spinda blinked after he tackled his opponent, wobbling two and fro where he stood. Wow -- who knew he would have defeated two pokemon in a row? That was the last thing he expected to do, but at the same time, he wasn't complaining, either. He just hope his luck would continue to last throughout the duration of the dungeon. This was a training mission, after all.

Kylie watched how fast Yuichi moved to win, "Wow Yui-chan! You are so fast!" she said in awe before she giggled. It would appear to be her turn to lead and she hadn't lost hope in the slightest. She still hoped to find and beat the boss.... She grinned as she looked for the next direction to go.

There was a small path to the left that Kylie had lead Yuichi down. Appearing in the room, she looked around to see nothing.... but wait what was that in the tree branch. She hopped over to inspect the weird green object and upon inspection... it was a caterpie! Kylie immediately bounced on it and used pound.

Kylie's over enthusiastic attack one-hit K.O.'d the poor sleeping caterpie. She actually felt a little bad about attacking it but hey! More experience for her. She grinned and looked over at Yuichi, "A bit much?" she asked as she scratched the back of her head.
