It's meant to be a short paragraph so you don't need to get into any long character analysis, but touching on his personality and what guests may expect to see from Aramis this year during the ball would be a good start. You can go over the sentence limit, but I would say only to a maximum of 10 sentences so that it's still an easy enough read for those guests who don't like to read much at all.
MystMist Sentences not paragraphs? Gonna be easy i suppose but can one fit enough character information?

Jean Valjean is from Les Misérables, a french historical novel by Victor Hugo, first published in 1862. Jean is a man with a shady past but a heart of gold. Constantly trying to prove that even people who are looked upon as evil can accomplish great things. As for his reason for being in this room, his past has come back to haunt him. Only this time it isn't just about him, but those he holds dear to him as well.
I've been on gaia for 8 years, and I've been apart of the ball for 4-ish years (including some flaking here and there). I play a variety of roles, many of which people wouldn't expect of me. Fun fact about me, starting this year my hair has seriously started to silver out so the "panda" name is really starting to fit.
Good nuff?

So I think the main stuff everyone can work on is getting their character bios in.
Also looking to get some sub plots going on. We have a lot of great characters with strong personalities we should be able to get a nice amount of stuff going. As Robayn has said she does not want to end up making the room a choose your side room, so anything that involves characters in some kind of conflict will need to be settled in some way that does not denote further large scale conflict. Maybe the end simply creates a new dynamic between the characters we can use for the rest of the ball.

working on this... today = my weekend Robayn
One more assignment !
The ball is two weeks away so the next two weeks are going to be filled with us getting everything we need finished~ One of those things is a character bio for me to place in the main thread. I need everyone to come up with 3-5 sentences about their character, the book they are from, their personality, their reason for being in this room, anything, and 1-3 sentences about themselves, how long you've been on Gaia, how long you've been with the ball and any other information you'd like to share. I realize this can seem invasive to some who prefer to remain anonymous so if you'd like to keep it to two sentences about your involvement with the ball that is fine, but something is better than nothing. Please have these finished by this weekend.
*note: if I do not get a bio then you won't get one. I won't be writing them for anyone.

Remember the ball is very close!! I would appreciate having the bios and the subplot ideas earlier than late because I am also doing a lot if other things besides trying to get this room ready.

So I think Robayn and I got a great game to use during a down time in the story. Do a drinking game with the mechanics like the jousting game from last year. You have to roll dice and try and hit an exact number, 100. If you go over you have to start from the beginning. Now to stay within the confines of the PG-13 rating we will need to not mention drinks by name or style but simple refer to them as drinks, cocktails, or beverages. Hopefully most people will get the idea that the more they miss the more dizzy their character should get. Have the winner get a simple large gold sum prize in the end.

Okiesss, I am really trying to think about this and the mini plot for Catherine, she is just such an unpleasant person who is almost always in a bad mood, or at least is easy to upset.
How about this:
Catherine Earnshaw is from the book "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Brontë, written around 1845, but set in the late 1700's - early 1800's. Wuthering Heights is a farm house in the Yorkshire moors in England, where Catherine grows up. Raised with a gypsy orphan, Heathcliff, since she was six, they are pretty much left to their own devices and grow up wild. If you were nice, you might say Catherine was a free spirit. If you were a bit more honest, you would say she is a spiteful and spoiled brat. Fed up with having to choose between a handsome and rich boy with good breeding named Edgar, and her dear soul mate and companion, though now but a lowly servant, Heathcliff, she plans to enjoy being able to leave her book and do as she pleases.
Madame Mae has been a guest at two of the past balls, and this is her first time participating. She has been off and on Gaia for around 7 years, and love See's candy.
I did not know what to write about myself, lol. Is this acceptable?

René d'Herblay more commonly known as Aramis one of the three musketeers, a character in the book "The Three Musketeers" a book written by Alexander Dumas. Aramis is ambitious and unsatisfied, a man torn between his love for women, his love for fighting as a soldier and his dedication to the church. He is an audacious person who always strives to attain greater power yet he is kind and cares for his friends. When he finds himself out of his book in a place with no fighting and no reason to gain power he eventually finds himself in this room where he drinks and has a good time with the ladies.

Robayn I can't write your bios for you, sorry. Please get them written asap. Count Dracula is the title character of the novel "Dracula" written by Bram Stoker. It tells the tale of an innocent vampire who leaves the remote castle in the Carpathian Mountains that has always been his home to travel to England. He first arrives in the small village of Whitby and later makes his new home in London, where he finds his one true love, Mina, that he forms a spiritual bond with. Unfortunately for the Count, a murderous individual that goes by the name of Abraham Van Helsing was not content to just slander the Count Dracula's good name and sought his death. [Dracula is displeased with how his book ends and has no desire to return to it.] Sachie Whitby is rumored to either be a vampire or a really smart cat in real life. Regardless of who or what is behind this avatar, the user is more than happy to recruit your avatar to become one of Gaia's vampire population should you ask nicely.
