What have you written for Star Wars? biggrin Well, I have written a Star Wars/Yu-Gi-Oh! crossover with Jaina Solo as the heroine. I have also written a Star Wars/Narnia crossover with allusions to LOTR with Tumnus getting married to Jaina. I also have written a Star Wars/Wolverine and the X-Men crossover where Leia, Anakin and Jaina get stuck on Earth and help the X-Men and Nick Fury(son of Mace Windu) fight the MRD and get Earth to join the New Republic.

So, you're a fan of the New Jedi Order and/or Young Jedi Knights? both actually. I adore Mara Jade Skywalker and I was happy to see Tenel Ka and Jacen finally get together (How many years have us Star Wars fans been demanding this? Since 1997 baby! And I turned 13 that year!!!)

I'm not big on the New Jedi Order.
I think Vector Prime kinda ruined the Expanded Universe with its introduction of the Yutzaan Vong (sp?) and all subsequent books just made things go from bad to worse.
I think instead of introducing an enemy from outside the Galaxy, they (the collective SW authors) first should have started exploring the Unknown Regions of the Galaxy. The set-up was already there. Zhann gave us the perfect segue in Vision of the Future and the Hand of Thrawn. But then Salvatore had to come in with his bio-based technology *cough*magic*cough* that came from outside the galaxy, kill canon characters in utterly RIDICULOUS ways and just generally make a mess of things.

I mainly write for The Legend of Zelda fandom. If you look at my signature you'll see my favorite pairing off all time from that game. It's actually the only pairing I like from there. XD
Oh and I don't exactly have any that I avoid because I'm always just looking for LoZ fanfiction that has to do with my favorite pairing. =w= I used to like a Pokemon pairing, but I grew out of that since a) the fandom died I think and b) I just didn't like any of the fanfiction for it anymore.

I agree with you there, I just about gave up reading ALL science fiction after reading about Chewbacca's death, and as a female with Asperger's Syndrome, that's pretty big. Yeah, exploring the Unknown Regions and more Sith-like villains would have been the way to go.

XD Oh and I don't exactly have any that I avoid because I'm always just looking for LoZ fanfiction that has to do with my favorite pairing. =w= I used to like a Pokemon pairing, but I grew out of that since a) the fandom died I think and b) I just didn't like any of the fanfiction for it anymore. My friend, Lore_of_Link, is a Zelda fan.

And then, AFTER the rest of the Galaxy had been drained dry of its villains, antagonists and conflicts, THEN they could bring in invaders from beyond the stars to wreak havoc and continue the franchise. Salvatore jumped the gun.
As to Chewie's death. I don't mind so much that he died, but rather HOW he died. THEY DROPPED A MOON ON HIM! What kind of death is that? It was just so absurd, there was no satisfaction to be gained from it. It didn't really stir much emotion (for me) except a dumbfounded confusion, followed by 'wait, that actually happened', that then turned into dissatisfied-customer rage.
Although, I will say, one nice thing about the New Jedi Order is that it gave me Ben Skywalker.

Well, for a first timer you write very well. smile Well its not really my first time I think I started in 04 though I went on hiatus for awhile so it is almost the same thing . I have a habit reading fan fics to the point i forget about my own sometimes . I still got a ways to go since I still have to rewrite some my older fan fic chapters since some of them are stil script format and need editing. sweatdrop I forgot to go back and fix them. Thanks though if anyone wants me to do a ranma 1/2 crossover with a anime or video game that i'm familiar with I might take up the challenge.
