My Name is Lithian (duh! xp ) but you can call me Lithy (dont overabuse the nickname!) I'm a Tolkienite and a band geek. I'm actually intelligent but you couldn't tell by what I'm typing here. I've read the Sil and LOTR and the Hobbit. I can write fluently in Tengwar and speak haltingly in Sindarin. I play the clarinet and I read tooo much. My favorite manga is .HACK and my favorite show is Teen Titans. I hang around the LOTR forum and mouth off to people, and get fangirl threads deleted xp . (this paragraph is too choppy lol) I play volleyball and I dance. well once I think of more useless information, I'll edit this post.

Since I accidentally posted this as a "New topic" sweatdrop , here is my "message to anyone who cares"
Hey,(before I say anything I want you to know I feel really out of place considering I just started out on Gaia and have really bad clothes) I'm Elenhina(Star-child in Quenya) and I'm more interested in the languages Tolkien created than anything else(mostly Elvish). I joined this guild because I wanted to talk about the books Tolkien wrote and(maybe) practice some of the elvish I have learned.
P.S. I usually don't put this much stuff in parenthesis(did I spell that right?) this is just a special occasion.

you guys are sooo lucky i'm here cause I heart LotR whee whee whee . I don't know why I started reading....
(Does anyone think they should've put more into the movies????)
So...What do you basically do in a guild besides talk? (or is that it?)

Hello. Well, I think it depends on what kind of guild it is. Yeah, they definitely could have put more info in the movies, but the books rule, by far. 3nodding

Hello Everybody!
To tell everyone about myself, I'm new (as you can see from my clothes), and I'm pretty much obsessed with LotR. But sweatdrop , not as much as you other guys... gonk -Watches everyone reading LotR- I've read the LotR Trilogy, The Simarillion, and read the Book of Lost Tales(?) about halfway. Ehehehe, redface I'm sorry to say I got addicted to LotR after my parents went to see the first movie without me, then rented it when it came out. They said it was "scary". Oh. My. Gosh. Scary? Especially my mom. So I made my dad buy the whole thing, with The Hobbit. I forgot about it, then lost it, then found it later and read the first book. -sigh- I read it later, and made my dad buy the Simarillion, The Book of Lost Tales, the Adventures of Tom Bombadil, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and The Tolkien Reader. Still haven't read 'em all. crying I'm the only one who cares in my family...(My brother thinks the Hobbit is boring. stressed How is it boring?!?!?!) When we went to watch the second movie, she covered my brothers eyes on the fighting parts. He wasn't scared a bit. He should've covered her eyes. I saw the third movie in theaters for my birthday, and again the next day, and AGAIN the next week! Good days... I still have a lot to write about... but I guess I shouldn't...

hi everyone! i was on the guild before, i ususally hang out in the rp thread. I was ~Arwen~ but changed my name to Queen Arwen instead smile
i love hobbits!!!
i am totally obssed with lotr, have all teh first 2 movies on special extended versions and is eagarly waiting for the release of the 3rd one!!!!

hey dudes! biggrin okay, that was weird, i won't do it anymore. i'm tailar(funky name i know, it's an inside joke), and i am absolutely obsessed with Lord of the Rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm okay really i am, just kinda lost it there. okay. i also like horses, books, viggo mortensen, horses, food, billy boyd, books, food, billy&viggo,... i think you get the picture. i am very interested in music and am a (self proclaimed) very good instrumentalist. i play pretty much all keyboards(except organ), some brass, and bassoon. talk soon. tah tah.

Hi. I'm new here, and just thought I'd drop in a message saying "Hello" to all my guildmates (is that even a word?) Anyway, my name is Heather, and I am, like the rest of you, a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien. I'm also an aspiring writer who at the moment is dealing with a severe bout of writer's block, so naturally I'm inclined to spend more time posting when in fact I should be trying to come up with an award-winning novel or something like that. But instead, here I am trying to make friends and find something interesting to talk about.

Hey. I'm not much like my Gaia character, but I'm wokring on making her more like me. To start off with, I plan on becoming an elf as soon as I get the money for the ears. May favorite character in LOTR is definitley Frodo and I love every elf that ever walked this or any other realm.

I am new to this Guild. I am 20 yrs old. and I love LOTR!! Big Fan! I've seen the movies way to many times. hehe
I also love Adult Swim and the shows like Aqua Teen Hungry Force. hehe I love to play on Gaia and I am currently on a long Quest for the Letter with the Devil's Tail and the Sash in it.

Hi! biggrin I'm new to the guild... I love LOTR and my favourite characters are Aragorn and Legolas. I've read the Trilogy at LEAST 9 times ( 4laugh lol!); the first time I picked them up, I finished them in 8 days... don't ask- those 8 days are all a blur! I don't think I ate, slept, or did ANYTHING until I'd finished them, lol!
I write LOTR fanfiction... well, WAY too much! sweatdrop It's become a slight obsession, as has drawing the characters in anime! I also adore Harry Potter, Van Helsing, Hidalgo, the Legend of Zelda gamesanime/manga, celtic design, dragons, rock music, film soundtracks, horses, dolphins, and most, if not EVERY type of mythology going!!! I'm really into history, which is probably why I love LOTR so much. I'm also a budding actress/singer/author/artist... I guess you could call me creative... wink
So, (well, this will sound like a STUPID question...) what does everyone else like about LOTR?

I am serpenteyes. Hi! I am a LOTR nut. I am absolutely obssessed. All you would have to do is look at my bedroom to know it's true. (I have Tolkein stuff everywhere) I read the books long before the movies came out and have been a fan for a long time. I can write in elvish and hobbit xd . I have seen all three DVD too many times to count. I cannot wait until the ROTK comes out on special edition! Well... I don't know what else to say except Tolkien rocks and I wish I could write as well as he did.

Hi! I'm Andserkiel (my name in Elvish). I've read the Hobbit and LOTR and my favourite book is the fellowship because even though the shadow of Mordor is growing all through the book it seems to be the most peaceful of the 3. whee Elves are my favourite race.
I also like Harry Potter, anime ,manga and Final Fantasy games. I love acting, singing and dancing and hope to be on stage in the West End when I finish training. Oh and I'm 16.

Hi, my name is Acacia (it means immortal, but not in elvish). I am almost 16. I read The Hobbit when I was 10. I would have read the LOTR series earlier, but (1) I wasn't aware that LOTR was written by the same author as The Hobbit, and (2) I had only heard about the book from my parents, and all they told me was the title of the series, which made it sound like a book about a circus. I finally ran into a copy of the book at age 12, and immediately fell in love with the series. It was better than The Hobbit, I think, because The Hobbit was slightly cliche (goes off to kill a dragon). I love reading, especially fantasy. I am currently reading The Silmarillion after picking it up, putting it down, and picking it back up again. I have read a couple books on Tolkien's life, but I'm mostly interested in his fiction. I would like to be a writer some day, if I can ever actually finish a book I've started writing. I like many different kinds of music: celtic, oldies, classical, jazz, swing, and some modern as well. Yes, I am a nerd sweatdrop I want to learn elvish. I also like riding horses and hiking and rock-climbing.
