I'd love to be able to, but time is most likely to stop me from doing so. That being said, Legacy is about the only thing I have a deck for.

I don't see a real need for judges for a small event though I am a Tournament Organizer / Rules Adviser.
Personally would like to see an 8-man event happen. Then we could repeat on a weekly basis.

Well, lets get better at recruiting. I'm gonna go make a thread in Table-Top Gaming asking people if they would like to participate in a MTG tourny on Cockatrice or Lackey. Also, everyone in this guild should make an appearance in the thread and try to drum up excitement biggrin

Cause that's cool. Seems the format will pretty much have to be standard, since that's what majority of the forum plays.

That's too bad, if it helps I'm referred to as the "magic guru" at the store I work at quite a bit by customers. I'm be happy to offer deck advice. As for tournament type, I'm big on draft and EDH or "commander," but those don't seem like they'd be the best options for this application.

Kaim Arouet I'm known as a "douche bag" and hate most of the Magic players from my state. Which state would that be? I tend to dislike most of those know as 'top tier' players in my state. Mostly because their attitude towards the game and other players.

Kaim Arouet Florida, which is a really good state for Magic. Also a good state for douche bags. Shitty eternal scene too. Wouldn't appear that way to me. With all that water and the humidity. Found out about a major douche bag move played by a 'top tier' player from Oregon at GP:Seattle this weekend. Guy gets his opponent to concede to him when he shows that he does, they both secure Top8 positions. Then right after his opponent does, calls a judge and claims the guy just requested a payoff for his concession. As I know his opponent as a chill type of guy, this is a no-brainer for me. However the judges had to make a judgment call based on what the 'local' judges had to say plus what each appeared to be. The guy is a clean-pressed high schooler who just won a ptq last weekend vs His opponent (who was already set for Top cool who looked like random stoner who could use a bit of cash.
