Ru was surprised when the neko suddently seemed to light up and jump from his arms. He was confused but then saw the mouse and laughed. He hadnt known he had a mouse problem butbnow that he saw he had he ahd to admit it was funny to see a person, chasing a mouse. He rolled his eyes and then he heard the thud and the boy looked awfully confused. He chuckled
"Yes..the mice are fast" he laughed and stood, walking toward the kitchen. he appeared a few moments later again with a bowl of cream for him "You can have this instead of the mouse" he laughed,
Ru knew of neko tendancies so had stocked up on the things that he would like before he had arrived so everything was still good. He wandered over toward him almost lazily.

Roux laughed a little at his reaction and watched him lap up the milk. It was endearingly cute, it was also more like then a cat then he had imagined. He shook his head, sure he had come across Neko's before but this had to be the most feline like one he had ever encountered. He chuckled a little and then wandered back over to the couch and sat down, picking up his book and resuming reading quietly. He was in a rather passive mood tonight, no were near as...on edge as he is most time.prbably because he had fed the nighth before, maybe not. Who knows.

Roux looked up from his book as he saw that he had jumped onto the couch. He allowed the neko to get on his lap and laughed a little in surprise when his cheek was licked, of all things. He smiled at the boy and watched as he curled up and smiled hearing his words, that was a rather odd way to phrase it but cute all the same.
"Of course you can, I will be moving soon though, I will bring you down now as to not awaken you when I have to go out of the sunlight" he explained and wrapped his arms around the boy, picking him up carefully and gentlely befor ehe began to walk toward the door beside the couch. He held him with one hand and opened the door with the other, walking into the dark room he closed the door behind them and then walked down the steps into the basement. Downstairs in the shadows was Ru's bed.
"Vampires and sunlight are a no go so its down here I stay during the day" he stated as he walked over toward the bed, he also still had his book..

Roux looked down at him as he walked.
"Its not that we dislike it, we are afraid of it" he stated rathe bluntly "When one becomes infected with the Vampire DNA strand we become immortal but our bodies stop working in a sense, its why we have no heartbeats or shadows. Why we need to take blood from others but also we cant go in the sunlight or we burn and die." He sighed "Troublesome buyt one gets used to it."
It wasnt like they had a choice. He reached the bed then and put Deklan down gentely before he sat on the edge of the bed and took off his shoes. He didnt want to get the bed dirty. He then sighed a little..

Roux couldnt help but smile as his cheek was kissed by Deklan. He chuckled a little and looked at him, hearing the whole lets be freinds thing going on, if only he knew the half of that. He smiled.
"Of course we can be friends" he said softly and caressed the boys cheek with his hand before moving to lay down like he wanted. Ru would not sleep yet but he didnt mind if Deklan did. He looked at him softly with ice blue eyes, he couldnt actually wait to just drop the glamour he was keeping up...

Ru glanced down at him and smiled, watching him sleep for a few moments before he wrapped an arm around him to keep him there. He was warm against him. It was oddly nice. Ru missed it, being warm. He lay flat and stared up at the ceiling, idly stroking the boys soft ears as he slept. He then shook his head a little and grabbed his book. He resumed reading it from where he had left off, holding the boy until the first rays of morning light would cause him to go still. He could hear the boys soft breath and the beating of his heart. It was all rather conforting, he felt relaxed. He had been a little anxious of getting another here but now he didnt even regret it. He was glad.

Ru closed the book as he woke up and felt that he had just been licked. It was nearing first light, soon he would sleep. He smiled at the neko.
"There is no need to thank me, I am glad I could help" he said softly "and besides I can even begin to imagine how they treated you back there." he shook his head in dismay and and softly kissed the boys forehead "but shush now, you are safe here. You wont ever have to go back." he said and smiled a little, holding him close before putting the book to the side.
