Maskerade Hayaru Pointy shoes make peoples' feet look like skiis, in my opinion. I agree. I like roundies much, much better. Pointy ones just make me think: "Ow. Damn!" Hmm. Im not sure. They can be sexy at times, if designed accordingly.

Hm..they are alright, but I don't think I could wear them. They do look good on some people, though.

They look really uncomfortable, but I've never worn them so I don't really know. I don't really like the way that they look either because they make people's feet look big most of the time. I've seen a few designs of boots with pointy toes that I like, but I prefer round toes.

I don't have anything against them, I think for like a corporate office, they would be very appropriate, sophisticated and professional. Would I wear them on Rodeo Drive? God no. I guess they have their place, and in that place I like them, but in general I prefer the round toe.

I know right? My foot is not the shape of a pizza, plus they look you could kill a soccer ball with them.

Well, a sharp toe has a very uptown chic to them, but for dates, or going out, or anything else, I prefer round toes, even though I do have the second toe being longer thingy going for me, lol.

Have to agree with Moon Light Ninja.
Pointed toes convey a certain strength about a woman, but not to the point of "dominatrix" style. Just knowing and smart enough to kick you in the nuts if you try anything low.

The "point" of a pointy toe is to elongate the *leg*. Not the foot. Worn with a nice pair of slacks, a pointy toe can look great, and help to create a tall and slim figure. In the right context, it will not make your foot look huge. I wear a US size 9.5, and pointy toes look fine on me when I wear them appropriately.
If you were to wear them with a skirt or cropped pants, they would look horrid. In that case, since you can see the entire shoe, it makes the foot look oddly shaped and disproportionately long. Stick with the round toe in this case.

I don't like pointy toes either. I wear heels ninety eight percent of the time but I wear the round toe or just regular heels one. They just don't look nice to me plus they hurt my feet. But to each their own. I knew a girl my freshman year of college that wore pretty much flat shoes (in my opinion...the ball heel is retarded) that had pointy toes. she claimed that the asians were bringing it back. I was just like um okay. I just find the regular heels more flattering.
