Iclas Delilahis

I think, therefore I am

Iclas looked around, even more confused as more creature appeared in the room. Yep, this practically stank of her government. Nobody else had the power to make one of her kind appear out on nowhere. And what strange ones they were. The one in the hood who seemed to have a strange air about her. The one who choose to appear as a strange monster, in something like a suit, yet was not like a suit that she had seen anything like. Then their was the small winged girl, the one she had spoken to before. And finally, the brown haired girl who seemed all too plain.

"Wow, we have a good varieties of forms here," the rude girl said, her eyes wide. she'd never seen any like this. Where they all foreign. Hmmm, would they be able to talk to her? Waiting a second for a reply, she was sad that she didn't get any. Were these forms that were forbidden by the government? Iclas knew that her look was one that everyone frowned upon. The legend of the witch, which the girl loved more then she could ever say, did sort of contradict their religion. However, nobody had ever done anything about it before. Was the government changing their style? It seemed like that, well, she'd do something about that. Readying her broom to fly, she girl was surprised when the plain girl ran into her.

The words that this girl said were strange. Duller then her own, in Iclas' opinion at least. It wasn't the same at the winger girl's words either. What was going on? Were there really that many languages on such a small world. She'd seen most of the world. the dull, grey, lifeless world that seemed to exist only to be filled by the strange thought creations of the Relectis people. Hmmm, maybe the government was hiding other worlds, worlds filled with new languages and new creations. Ah, that almost made her squirm in the desire to see those places, to see what people were making, the forms they were choosing. Oh, maybe this was a selection process to see how well those world interacted? Before the girl could day dream about that, which as had been mentioned before, could take day, maybe even years, the girl started to stutter and back away.

For a minute, Iclas just stood there, then she remembered this was probably mean she would fail the test and never be able to see another world. No, that would mean she could live so much longer. she wanted to see more. She wanted to see the new worlds, learn new words, and make herself so much stronger. But what had she have done to scare this girl? Was it the witch like appearance? Well, some people considered witches a class of monsters. Letting out a sigh, she learned that she had to change. Turning to something like mist, she reformed a second later with her broom and hat missing and her dress being replaced by a a longer, plain black dress. She hadn't really considered this being a dangerous move, since she was sure these people were like her. Strangely though, Iclas felt tired. she should have much more energy then that! This place must be effecting her. Well, that wasn't going to stop her. Walking toward the other girl slowly with her arms outstretched, she tried to speck calmingly.

"Calm down, brownie," she said, her voice less rich then normal as she figured that would be too much for this little girl, a very vain thought. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm just trying to figure out why we're here."

Cartirueam woke from it's makeshift shelter made of a log and a stump. It was in a lush jungle planet much like it's home. It got down to a crouch and looked around for tracks. As it looked it saw a broken branch of a small sapling. Cartirueam started in the direction, leaving no trace it was even there. It was on it's hands and knees mimicking the tracks left behind. It had been at this for seven days, looking for one type of prey. The infamous Petit-Remus. A tiger like creature with large dragon like wings. Cartirueam continued along it's path, making sure not to make a noise. Each oxygen burst was in sync with the wind. Every last movement was precise and calibrated. It soon saw it's prey and eyed it cautiously. Readying it's hammer, Cartirueam inched closer. Cartirueam positioned himself perfectly it could charge him quickly. It was almost gitty with the anticipation. Suddenly it leapt up and rushed the tiger. Suddenly the environment changed, but it continued charging. Cartirueam hit the most colorful thing he saw. He found himself in a bursting fire, with his hammer inside brick and marble. He swiftly got up. "What witchery is this." He barked as he surveyed the room.

Watched as the humanoid stumbled around the room. It was almost comical to watch them interact, yet not understanding each other. Suddenly a large thud was heard in the fireplace and a legend emerged from it. "Cartirueam......" Slydarum's voice went to a whisper. Cartirueam was a legend and he was here...HERE, where every here was, but still. As undramatic as it's entrance was, Slydarum was still in awe. Cartirueam pulled it's hammer out of the wall and the it suddenly rebuild itself. The wall then start to speak in their tongue saying, "Watch what your slamming into you crazy b*****d!! Don't make me sock you one." Slydarum soon found itself not able to tell what to be in awe at. Cartirueam or the TALKING WALL!!! It's mind started going in circles at this point. It had so many questions.

Sidonus was quickly taken back to reality by a sudden jolt, he forgot he had zoned out again and looked through his systems for the third time. Sidonus was not used to such a calm re-entry and it wasn’t giving him the adrenaline rush that he is used to, he needed to stay focused and this ride wasn’t helping. “ Petty Officer open the bay doors”… “Roger that First Sergeant Sidonus’ee…..crossing the convection zone in three” Sidonus nodded and looked to his HUD showing all four squads of marines marked with green dots “ all green…good” he said and quickly looked to toward the door to the dropship that was opening with a loud hiss to reveal a beautiful sight. They were on the edge of the upper atmosphere of the planet Shecx, you could see the curvature of the planet with the gas giant looming in the distance with stars surrounding it . The systems double suns lit the planets surface making the planet glow a beautiful mix of light red, pink and orange. Sidonus smiled under his helmet as he looked at the celestial beauty before him then suddenly a beep from his HUD brought him back to reality, it was a short wave feed from his with to be Ysvera his wife to be.
Sidonus scrolled to the message using his eyes and clicked on the message to reveal her face inside a helmet. “ What are you looking at over there” she said making almost a quizzical look at him “ A goddess” he said with a slight smile as a joke, goddesses were fabled to live on Ysvera’s home planet. Sidonus was always bad at hiding his emotions and couldn’t help but smile when he saw her “ Really now…I bet she isn’t prettier then this one” Ysvera said trying too maintain her quizzical demeanor . She was too focused on her HUD to realize he was looking at her across the dropship “ I was talking about you love” Sidonus said and mouthed the words "gotcha". The feed ened and Ysvera wanted to walk over to join him at the door but there were four squads of marines in the way her fault for getting in first she thought to herself. She looked at him and pinged a green notification flash to get his attention then blew him a kiss threw the helmet, he responded by bringing two fingers to where his mouth would be and made a swooping motion across the helmet, the hand signal for a smile. Ysvera blushed and smiled checking her own team roster six Force Recon operators under her command all with green status lights and one red light moving very fast on her motion tracker, the smile quickly faded and the first flak round passed by the dropship with a high pitched whistle followed by a ear shattering explosion .
They had descended into the troposphere, the setting suns were beginning to color the clouds beautiful shades of red. The plasma and conventional AAA coming up from the planet boiled holes through the clouds adding to the oddity of the scene and bringing Ysvera to her knees as the dropship lurched and dropped suddenly making everyone inside fall and stagger. “ Bloody F*** what the hell was that!” a marine yelled as Ysvera leaned out of the open dropship doors. Sidonus almost tore the handle off the wall keeping himself from falling and looked around the bay as marines were getting up and readying gear. He then stole a look to the back of the ship to see Ysvera hanging out of the ship looking up at the engine, Sidonus had to fight back the urge to pull her back in. Having her here really made him nervous, they had been on operations together before but nothing like this. They were the first wave of a planetary invasion which always took the heaviest fire, on top of that she was going to insert alone for a long range recon which worried Sidonus to no end. He shoved the thoughts to the back of his mind and peaked out of the dropship quickly recoiling to dodge a AAA round coming up from the surface. "Lucky pass First Sergeant!" a marine said over the radio, Sidonus nodded toward the corporal " That could of been my head" Sidonus replied before looking down over the edge again to the green rolling hills below. “ First Sergeant Sidonus’ee, the engine is gone” Ysvera said quickly bringing herself back before a AAA round passed where she used to be, she just got her footing before three rounds came up through the floor of the dropship sending the dropship in a falling spin. Ysvera held herself in the corner trying to hold herself in the ship watching some of the marines fly out, her mind started racing thinking will I die here..I will never experience motherhood or grow old with Sidonus. Her heart quickly sank at the thought of Sidonus and she quickly looked up expecting the worst bur much to her relief there he was bracing himself with one leg against the wall to counter the spin. She couldn’t turn away from him “ If im going to die the last thing I want to see is him” Ysvera said before she closed her eyes and counted the seconds. Sidonus’s eyes were brought quickly to his team roster as six green status lights went red signifying somebody dying, he cursed and looked at the ground which was seeming to come up alarmingly fast. “ Ysvera!! Increase…………” everything went black before he could finish his sentence.
Ysvera woke up in mid air looking at the grey ceiling of a room which looked oddly like the ceiling of the dropship but something was off. There was no burning smell nor could she feel any of the normal movements of battle it was just still, she hit the ground and with lightning quickness rolled to her stomach and quickly pulled her sub-machine gun around still on the sling her systems kicked in providing her with a targeting reticule in her HUD and the laser sight automatically engaged. “ Sidonus!!....” she yelled through external speakers hoping to hear a response on the other end. “ Im up…where are” he got up with the same lightning fast reflexes as Ysvera and pulled his pistol the targeting system engaging along with the laser, both of them scanned the room silently.

"...So we'll pretend it's alright, and stay in for a night..."
{OlixiaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTarin}

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.It was another black, dead night on the planet Roterium. The toxic gases flowing freely in the air made the air feel so thick, like a blanket to smother the lungs. The deep waters of the swampland and the looming wildlife around the area made the swamp feel almost intimidatingly frightening.

Almost.

Perhaps if it weren't for the faint sound of arguing in the distance, this scene would be more terrifying. But alas, deep within the swampy waters and lung suffocating air, two Dol's were bickering like mere school children. Quite a sight indeed, the two connected mates had been stuck in this swamp for only thirty-three minutes. But the male was impatient and the female was annoyed.

"This is exactly the reason why I do not want you communicating with other individuals, Tarin." the female half hissed at her male counterpart. "You have a way with angering strangers with your excessive idiocracy." The male half, who was called Tarin glared at the female connected to his shoulder. "Oh is that so Olixia darling? Then perhaps your timid, nonexistent voice could make a difference." he paused, letting Olixia take a insulted gasp before he smirked. "But wait, not even the smallest thing in the world with the best hearing would be able to decode your mute way of speaking."

Olixia huffed, turning her head away from Tarin as far as she could. Her ears pulled back, while her tail swung lightly at her ankle. She began to sadly play with the long sash that covered little of her side of her body. Tarin, feeling a bit guilty as he saw that she had taken this to heart, sighed and attempted to nuzzle at her neck, apologetically. Olixia, however, growled a little, pushing his face away from her with her own hand.

The honey blonde Dol snarled at this, adjusting the sash covering the lower portion of his body, before turning his head away and forcing onward, dragging Olixia with him. She let out a light yelp, feeling herself being pulled against her will. It was pointless, however, to resist. Tarin's body side was much stronger than her own, so she barred her teeth as their three legs trudged through the swamp.

After a few minutes of walking and awkward silence, Olixia glanced over to Tarin to see that his face was an odd mix of anger and confusion. Olixia giggled lightly, causing him to look to her.

"What? What's so funny?"
"You are love. You're incredibly lost." she smirked a little as he snarled at her.
"Quite the contrary my dear. I know exactly where to go," he said, holding his head high, "we'll go this way!"

Just as he turned to the right of the path, a strange force stopped him. It was an odd, draining feeling that caused him to feel...drained. Olixia's eyes widened, as she felt her half begin to tug down. Or was it backwards? It felt like, some sort of vacuum was pulling her away and closer to Tarin. All at the same time. "T-Tarin, wh-what's.." but her voice trailed off into the abyss, as they both fell into the black darkness of unconsciousness.

--------

Tarin was the first to awaken, with Olixia waking soon afterwards from his movement. Tarin growled lowly, surveying their surroundings. Olixia blinked at the odd room they were in. She saw...fire? Yes, fire in a little cave thing. And over the cave were many odd objects. They were so interesting, so new. Her eyes were wide with amazement. Tarin, on the other hand, was much less in awe than his mate. He was quite angry that he had no idea where they were, let alone how they arrived there. He wanted answers. He looked around the room to see other strange creatures also in the room. Large ones. Flying ones. Loud ones. It confused him, which made him angrier.

For he hated to be confused.

The male stood, pulling Olixia with him, and began to wander around cautiously, slowly. If they happen to approach us, let me do the talking. They might be dangerous.. Tarin spoke mentally to his mate. For once, Olixia didn't argue. She was too confused by all these strange creatures and beings and objects around her. Y-yes, alright.. Tarin, where do you think we are? Surely this isn't our home.. she bit her lip as her eyes scanned the room. I don't even think we're on Roterium anymore.. Tarin furrowed his brow, looking around as well. I... I don't know.

Cartirueam ignored the wall and looked at the room. It recognized the other Azourian, yet the other races where unknown to it, as knowledgeable of the universe. Two more suddenly were teleported into the room landing on the ground, hard. One of them yelped out it recognized the dialect. They were Aradites. The two got up swiftly with there weapons aimed and charged. If they where Aradites, Cartirueam could not hesitate. They were known for their quick and perfect movements, and it had fought them before. Cartirueam lifted his large mini-gun and aimed it at the Spaama. It couldn't even have the slightest movement out of place, if this was going to be an open conflict.

Ysvera did not know where she was or if she was even alive, the other beings in the room were odd to her. This both surprised her and worried her, she quickly rationalized the situation: " I dont remember any intelligence on warp fields being used...and that fall couldn't of killed me....could it". She checked her HUD everything was working fine, quickly bringing her eyes up to the blue diamond signifying a friendly target. " Azourians!" she said with slight excitement and almost lowering her sub-machine gun when she saw it raise his weapon toward Sidonus. Training kicked in as she yelled " Sidonus!! contact dead ahead!!" and leveled her weapon aiming center mass before taking a knee

Sidonus was moving before Ysvera finished, he took three large strides toward the wall close to the winged creature and stopped, turning towards the Azourian with the mini gun and taking a knee simultaneously his pistol leveled and still at its head. " Stand down you bloody idiot we are Aradites!!" he yelled over his external speaker the auto translation package activating " Stand the F*** down!!!"

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿Tia Amaria✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿
A whisper in the woods
✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

Looking around, Tia's eyes darkened in hue significantly, nearing a violet as she grew slightly irritated by the strange world around her. She thought though, that perhaps she should be happy, and that she would be dead if she weren't here. However, the thought had crossed her mind that maybe she were dead, as were all of these other races.

Tia looked up and around her, noting the various objects around the room. She grew distracted by those around her and proceeded to observe them, her form flickering once or twice from uncertainty. Then, she solidified and her eyes brightened to their normal blue, letting on to the calm she had pulled over herself, along with her hood. A trick she had taught herself whenever the courts became far too irritating for her tastes, which was frequent.

"Átarema i ëa han ëa, na aire esselya,
aranielya na tuluva, na care indómelya cemende tambe Erumande.
Ámen anta síra ilaurëa massamma,
ar ámen apsene úcaremmar sív' emme apsenet tien i úcarer emmen.
Álame tulya úsahitenna mal áme etelehta ucullo.
Násie."
She prayed beneath her breath, willing herself to remain calm, and to draw upon her internal strength. She watched the beings around her, spotting at least one who seemed to be from the forest. She hesitated though, from going over, and instead drifted from the center of the room, folding the dagger back into her sleeve.

She lingered on the edges of the room, in a darker corner of the room, tucking her hair away beneath her robe again. The only thing Tia could be thankful for is that she had left the courts, and had not grown attached to the Frezou lord. Only that, she believed could have made this worse. The thought of it threatened to bring emotion to her eyes, and she tried to convince herself that it was not that she was upset about, rather the loss of open space, the loss of her forest, her home within the tall ivory tree.

Instead of focusing on the present, Tia began to dwell in her past. She had left her chamber, the one beside the Queen's after leaving a note beside the windowsill, where the moonlight spilled over its marble, written in the language of the Royal family, similar to the Elvish languages of the Elves that dwelled on her planet, in the Eastern woods. Then, she had left the castle, nodding to the hand selected guards she had stationed that night. A flash more of scarlet was seen of her before she disappeared into the night, heading first to her home village, and stayed the night on its outskirts, finding the village destroyed.

Her eyes narrowed, quelling the bad thoughts that rose at the thought of her village and returned to the present, shuddering as she heard shouting, and noticed that there were more people than before, and some that were large, covered in metal. She herself wore Elven metals beneath her cloak, fine silvers with a clear gem inlay along her heart and side. There was some sort of conflict, and the heavy pommel of her dagger slid into her hand as a precaution, although what it would do she had little knowledge of.

Cartirueam lowered it's mini-gun and extended it's hand to the Aradite. "Apologies, young one but, you can't blame me for being cautious. Any of your race could take several years out of my life." Cartirueam was required to learn the Aradite language to show respect in honor of their new trade agreement. " I'm Cartirueam by the way, Azourian Legion. Have any idea where we are?" It said as it posted it's hammer on it's back.

Slydarum knew that they where Aradites the second the landed in the room. It could tell because it came up with the design for the female's armor and most corresponding weapon systems. It walked over to the rest of the group she could understand. She watched as the red cloaked female disappeared and reappeared. She was a very strange life form for you could still see she thermal signature as she moved. She redirected her attention to the Aradites. "I'm Slydarum, VEUR corporation designer. I am just as clueless as you are General."

Sidonus looked around the room taking in his surroundings with his weapon still trained on the Azourian, he saw the lady disappear and tracked her for a moment with his eyes before dismissing her as a non threat. He hesitantly lowered his weapon " First Sergeant Sidonus'ee First Imperial Marine Division" he shook the Azourians hand and motioned for Ysvera to lower her weapon before speaking again. " Thats Staff Sergeant Ysvera'ee First Force Reconnaissance Battalion"
Ysvera lowered her weapon, letting hang free from the sling before speaking " How did you two get here...and where are we?"

Perseus III (Ben)

“Right! It’s coming!” Jessy called, bracing her legs for the jump.

Over the convulsions of the volcanically dynamic planet, an almost physically vibrating undertone of noise welled up from the super-heated fissure. She was right, of course. The other Durnell had a full seventy years of existence to his measly thirteen and time still hadn’t wiped away her sense of fun. She had discovered this year’s back and since then had ridden countless waves so the fact that she could read the signs was really no surprise.

“I’ll beat you up there,” Perseus III challenged over the rising noise, “This is the last time you’ll beat me.”
“Sure it is Hon.” She replied with a condescending wave, “Your form is wrong by the way; move the front foot back. That’s it.” She nodded as he slid his foot back a few centimetres, and Perseus III threw back a withering look.
“You’re just trying to psych me out,” he accused. Jessy laughed and then, without warning, threw herself off the edge of the fissure.

Angry at himself for letting her distract him, Perseus III bunched his muscles and took a flying leap into the searing crack in the planet’s mantle. As the steam filled air hit him, his heart gave out a cry of joy. This was what he loved. This was why he enjoyed living so much.

He could sense Jessy further down and traveling fast, gaining speed the more she fell. Somehow he would have to catch her and then slow himself sufficiently to catch the wave. Brow furrowing in concentration he pulled the board of his feet and straightened himself out to become as aerodynamic as possible.

He was gaining on her, honing in like a hawk on its prey. As he flew past her, tapping her on the shoulder as he went, her eyes widened in shock. “Ben! No!” she shouted after him but he couldn’t hear her over the thundering roar.

Finally the pressure gave and the wave was released. Perseus panicked as he realised he was traveling too fast. Splaying himself and the board out to slow his fall he could only watch as the wall of super-heated magma, steam and metals flew towards his exposed body. There was no way he could get into the safety of the boat shaped board now, he thought bitterly. There wasn’t enough time and he was traveling too fast. This was going to hurt.

The wall slammed into him, making his body ache and his hands strain to keep hold of the board that was nearly wrenched out of his grip. The force of the wave reversed his decent, capturing him on its way to the surface and sending him spinning up. He had caught it! He had actually caught it!

With a huge effort he pulled himself onto the board again, standing up and moving it like he was taught to catch the currents in the wave. He couldn’t help the triumphant grin that spread across his face and a swell of relieved laughter escaped his lips.

The wave made it to the surface, spewing molten materials into the almost non-existent atmosphere. With the last rush of pressure, Perseus III drew alongside Jessy, who smiled and laughed. “I thought you were a goner you stupid thing!”
“I knew what I was doing, I was perfectly fine.”
Jessy raised her eyebrows, the heat distribution in her hands telling him that he was not believed at all.

“Okay, so maybe I had no idea what I was doing but you have to admit that was awesome.”
Her face broke into a grudging grin and she punched him playfully. “You still didn’t beat me you know,” She reminded him. Perseus III made a face.
“I’m not sure if I can,” he admitted.
“Nonsense,” she said shortly “you can’t tell me that you’re giving up now. Who else will I risk my life with?”
“I never said I wouldn’t try you know.”

“Good man,” she said, clapping him over the shoulder.

It was then that Perseus III started to feel ill, like a hook had been pulled through his stomach and was tugging him backwards. There was more tugging all over and a tingling sensation started in his toes. “Something isn’t right” he managed to gasp, doubling over and clutching his stomach before the world disappeared.

His head spun and he had the awful sensation of being drunk, a sucking sensation that seemed to stretch his entire form. He yelled in terror, continuing to shout even as he landed in a room with several bickering life forms. The pitch of the shout was redoubled, this time with the added tone of confusion in the mix so it sounded something like “AAAAAAAaaaaaa(?)aaahhhhh!!! ”

He crawled backwards, away from the people, still shouting, and scorching a something soft as he scrambled to get away. The cushion, outraged at being burnt, began to shout a stream of profanities and insults at the Durnell whose eyes widened at the onslaught and continued to shout wordless shock.

A voice, female and clear, ran through Perseus III’s head as though someone was speaking in it, or all around. “We can’t have that,” It said imperiously and with a snapping sound, Perseus III’s flame went out.

Shocked and sure he was dead, the young Durnell’s shout quietened to a pitiful whimper of distress and sheer terror. He couldn’t exist without his flame! He had so much to live for! Why did he have to die now?

Flopping onto the floor, his limbs sprawled every which way, he waited for his fate to befall him. After a few seconds though, he realised he wasn’t dying, and sat up, looking at the blackened form of his skin and wondering how this was possible. He didn’t feel any different but he knew he couldn’t survive without his flame; it was just how it was. It was akin to a human finding out they didn’t have a heartbeat.

Wide eyed he looked up, staring around the room with his mouth open. What is this place? What are you doing to me? He wanted to ask but all that came out was “Ahh?” xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx burning_eyes

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿Nadezhka Izekamari✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

A burst of flame burst from the Daichi's mouth as Nadezhka spun, weaving the fire into a dragon form. The crowd ooohed and ahhed, many small children clapping their hands in delight. Nadia's dark eyes were closed, protecting her eyes from the heat of the fire. Even as she closed her mouth, swallowing the remaining fire harmlessly, the dragon seemed to fly away, burning in the dark night before extinguishing itself. With triumph in her sparkling eyes, the elf form bowed and stepped off the small raised dais beneath the Chichioak tree. Her "partner in crime" Marquis stepped on and began his performance, the ancient practice of fire dancing.

Walking the short distance to the dancer's guild, Nadezhka hummed to herself in the night, watching with curious eyes to the lively city around her. Numerous firebreathers like herself showed off their talents in the square. Her outfit sat tight on her hips and chest, ceremonial styled fabrics with silver medallions on them. They jingled as she walked towards the guild on the outskirts of town.

Every so often she would stop at the various vendors, friends of her, and she opened her coin purse at one in particular. A clothing shop, she wished to buy something to change into for the next day.

"An early night for you, Nadezhka?" The vendor asked as she held up a white
dress. Her violet eyes slid off the dress and she grinned lightly.

"Tardin, you know the guild is having their new moon celebration tonight," She teased, knowing he hadn't been invited. Tardin rolled his eyes gesturing to his wares.

"Very well. Is Marquis going to be there?" Nadezhka blushed and silently handed over the money, four silver coins, before looking back to where he was dancing. "He is a fine match for you," This caused Nadia's face to drain of color and she rolled her eyes.

"I don't know if he is coming or not," She said before biding her friend farewell and heading on her way.

The alleyways were darker than usual, due to the absence of Apollomertis' two moons, both being reborn. Nadezhka slipped along silently, the white dress in her hands, folded neatly. She had nearly turned the corner to the guild's back entrance when she stopped, slamming a hand to the wall and bending over. She wondered if there was an assailant wielding a crystal shooter, but when she looked, her own wrist blades at the ready, there was no one.

Nothing. Nothing was there. The alley was gone, the sky was gone, and then, there was something.

Nadezhka slammed into the ground and groaned, the sudden light making her eyes hurt. She looked around, noticing the fire she was near. Standing, she looked around nervously, not recognizing anyone from her own planet.

Ysvera let out a loud yelp, jumping and turning away from the Azourian as the two people entered the room. " I swear..how long is this going to bloody happen....it always scares the bloody s*** out of me". She ripped off her helmet and walked to the wall, sliding down it into a sitting position. " So what is it now, some burned man and some other mystical being.....and why cant anybody speak our language...I mean in all the colonies of the empire just one of these people has had to deal with us...or at least spend some time on a colony". Ysvera laid the helmet down between her legs and took the anti-grav clip out of her hair, her red hair fell to her shoulders and hit the energy shield making it appear to hit something right before the armor.

Sidonus turned his head towards Ysvera and pulled off his own helmet revealing a close cut man with dark skin and turquoise cat like eyes. " Well our tech still works....and we are still alive that has to count for something". He nodded towards the Azourian and walked towards Ysvera kneeling in front of her and running a armored hand along her arm the shield stopping any actual contact."We cant break down here...he have to find a way out" Sidonus worked his way next to her and slipped and arm behind Ysvera.

" I know..I know.." Ysvera said lightly before moving closer to Sidonus and leaning on his shoulder making sure to avoid the rifle on his back.

Cartirueam's right shoulder apparatus twitched as the two life forms entered the room. It was getting jumpy, especially with the Aradites in the direction of the occurrences. It didn't trust them in the slightest. Cartirueam fought them for several campaigns, those being the bloodiest it had ever experienced. It knew their killing potential, and watching them almost put it on edge. It started to busy it's mind with other things. It eyed the other species. Two seemed like it could occupy a sun but, Cartirueam considered the pressure. The other had pale skin with a purple-ish mellow tone across the body. She (taking an assumption) obviously seemed nervous and confused. Understandably so since all these races had been warped here yet with no obvious technology. Cartirueam continued to busy it's mind with thoughts.

Slydarum continued to eye Cartirueam, watching pretty much anything it did. It's eyes glided down to it's arm and noticed the wrist mounted cannon. Slydarum recognized the piece of weaponry for it had also designed it. "Cartirueam? It seems you are using one of my designs." It said pointing at it's wrist cannon, in the most modest voice. "Can you tell me what you think of it?" Showing a little inflection in it's voice.

Cartirueam dazily slipped out of it's thoughts as the young Azourian spoke to it. It lifted his arm when it pointed to it. Cartirueam hated that people of his own race already knew it's name. It couldn't remember it gave it's known introduction. That was why it NEVER visited the home planet. "Oh? You designed this? Well it is an great weapon. Nice and sturdy. I have to I was waiting for a twin for some time, but then I guess you stopped making kinetic weaponry. I am not really a big fan of plasma and energy based weapons."

Slydarum's shoulders sank a little. It had been working on plasma weapons for a very long time. The last kinetic weapon it made was a pistol and it wasn't even accessible for their race. "Well I'm glad you like it. Feed back is always good." Slydarum said as it mentally yelled at itself for not making more kinetic weaponry.

Sidonus looked up at the Azourian's with worry obviously on his face " We need to find a way out of this room..or find out how we got here. Then we need to figure out how to communicate with these other beings, I think between the four of us it is possible" Sidonus looked back towards Ysvera who was almost asleep on his shoulder. It had been a long day, The invasion and the teleportation has taken its toll on the both of them. " Make that three..she wont be awake much longer and I wouldn't wake her up...trust me I know from experience."
