Ace was dazed, he had witnessed the whole event from the hiding place in the back of his mind, the place free of fear and, to be honest, most emotions.Shuppet nudged his friend, hardly making him tilt, he repeated this a few times, but quickly became annoyed. He raised himself to head-height, and taking in a large breath and looking right into Ace's ear, he let loose a screech attack. Ace, from within his safe place, toppled, and was back to reality. It really was quite a screech, he had to admit, he almost felt a pride from it. His muscles relaxed, and he glanced at the still rigid form of the cyndaquil, who had his trainer draped over him. Ace smelt burning, and recollecting what he had seen from his happy place, he hauled his back from over his shoulder and quickly rooted around, looking for a balm to put on the girl's wounds. He found it quickly and crouched down, tossing his bag to the side and putting the hand that it had recently occupied onto the ground to settle his unstable posture. He reached forward slowly, making no sudden movements, and in a hushed voice said "...Akahanna... I've got something for your-" he winced at the thought of the word he was about to say "..Burns." He sighed and looked back at his partner, who was ready to fly in front of him if there were any more signs of trouble from the cyndaquil. Ace turned back to look at Akahanna "I'm sorry about shuppet, He's a bit over-protective sometimes, especially around fire." Ace grimaced for a second, before changing it into a one sided smile.

Akahanna shivered despite the burns that adorned her frame. The smile that Ace shone didn't feel as... Dare she say, playful as they had been. In addition to that, why did he seem so uncomfortable around the subject of fire? I can't be sure though, maybe he just regrets stumbling across me and having all this trouble caused on him? That's right... Stupid me. He's just upset at me and Inu. Eyes set downcast, Akahanna wasn't aware of Ace's offer of the balm until she spotted the actual vial in his hands. Peeking up from her eyelashes, nibbling on her bottom lip, she mumbled, "Thank you. I'm really sorry, honestly. My cynda--er, Inu is also really protective, and really rude. I don't know what got into him." Cheeks flushing with humiliation, she was almost ignorant of her charred flesh as Inu wriggled uncomfortably in her arms.

Kai Ryuken " Ah, dang it! There's just got to be a Center around here!" Kai hastily ran through the forest with his Aron, Skully, iritably following close at his side; in his arms was a dying mountain pokemon said to be native only around Silver Mountain: Larvitar. The frail creature gasped heavily at every step. " Don't worry, little guy!" Kai told him, " I'll definately get you to a-" The group halted as Kai noticed a couple of apparent trainers to his far side. " Hey!" He shouted desperately, " Do any of you know if there's anything like a Pokemon Center nearby!?"

As Akahanna awaited for a response, she looked over her shoulder at the arrival of another trainer. She saw the injured pokemon in the boy's arms, and gasped in surprise at it's state. Dismayed at his question, and at her lack of knowledge, she answered in chagrin, "No, I'm sorry. I'm lost in this forest, and was asking Ace here to guide me about." Worridly skimming her gaze over the trainer, she bit her lip--a terrible habit of hers-- and murmured, "What happened?"

Aradia made her way through the forest at a snails pace. She was bored and uninterested in pretty much everything, so she decided that getting lost would be a good hobby. She let Terch out of his pokeball just in case a wild pokemon came out and made sure to avoid people.
