"No...but you seem to be someone with... experience when it comes to trapping beasts..." He looked to bartender and his eyebrows raised when he said 'massive scorpion tail'. What kind of creature would have something like that. Pietra turned back to Vlad.
"I wish to speak with you later...I may need some advice for a future catch..." And with that, he left past the curtain, heading to his room he would be staying in for the evening.

"Naw, we jus' thought we'd walk 'round witha giant tail s'all," Gerdi rolled her eyes and smiled brilliantly, ignoring Haneul when he jabbed her in the back. Stupid girl, if she didn't word it right, they could easily get kicked out.
"'Course we're lookin' fer Vlad!" Hanny sighed quietly and nodded in agreement.

The bartender nodded and pointed towards the curtains. "He will be in there. Name your price and don't haggle. He hates that." The bartender muttered and went back to pouring drinks for his customers.
Vlad relaxed back into his chair and sighed.

"Thank ya kindly sir~ Have some drinks ready by tha time we get out, kay?" Gerdi waved and tugged the tail and her partner along, into the room and past the curtains. Lovely shade of red they were, maybe that would be her new favorite colour for a while. The Korean stopped once they were in the room and managed to stand next to Gerdi while keeping hold of their prize. The pirate bowed and flashed her smile once more.
"Good morrow sir, how does 100 gold for the tail of the mountain guardian sound?" Haneul glanced at get and back to the buyer. Good price, though the trapper would have asked for a little more personally.

Vlad looked up. His clear grey eyes boring into their souls almost. His mouth tugged into a frown. "100 gold? For a tail? How do i know it's from the mountain guardian?" He asked. He looked at the tail. It looked real enough but he couldn't be too sure.

"No real way ta test it 'nless ya wanna try the poison on fer size cap'n." Gerdi shrugged, but nodded to Haneul who managed to snag the end of the tail and hold the dripping end out to the man. The black liquid almost seemed to team death, in the trapper's opinion, but he had to remember not everyone had his senses.... The blonde looked back up to Vlad, smile shifting into some for of bored smirk.
"But if you ain't up ta it, and ye still don't believe us, we can get even more from someone else. Ya good with that cap'n? E'eryone knows what a collector ye are."

Vlad reached out after taking off one of his gloves and took some of the black substance in between his fingers and rubbed it slightly....before quickly withdrawing his hand and wiping it off. He plunked a bag with 100 gold in it down on the table and smirked. Pleasure doing buissness with you." He muttered before motioning for them to put the tail in the corner.

Haneul released his end and snagged the bag, out of the room in seconds. He wanted food and drinks, to make sure they had enough for a good long time and...and to go buy saplings for the mountain. He'd let Gerdi do the heavy lifting, he was the one who held onto the money.
The blonde rolled her eyes and snickered, moving so she could place the heavy tail down in the designated area. A little bit of the poison got on her clothes and she sighed. Guess she was doing laundry again soon. She turned to Vlad and saluted him, smiling again.
"Tha pleasure's all ours cap'n, see ya soon, ya hear?" Gerdi winked and pushed aside the curtains, walking out chuckling.

Vlad snorted, "Whatever." He muttered as he looked at the tail in the corner and sighed. He wanted the mountain guardian as well...maybe he would take a team and go capture it sometime...
The bartender had the drinks out for them, "How did it go?" He asked smirking a bit.

Gerdi took a seat next to Haneul and snagged a drink, downing it all in one go. Her partner tsked and sipped at his, nose wrinkling a little at how strong it was. And the sad matter of fact was that Gerdi could drink twice as much as he did and walk away with a soft buzz while he would probably die from alcohol poisoning. She just wanted to see him get dunk again. God he'd never live that down.
"About as well as it always does. Gerdi never asks for enough, he questions the authenticity, and in the end Gerdi calls him on it and gets our money." he stated flatly, taking another small sip. Gerdi was holding he mug out for seconds like an eager dog.
"Tha cap'n juss' wants ta make sure he gets what he's payin fer. Thass' why he's tha cap'n and we're jus' hunters Hanny Fanny."

The bartender nodded and sighed, "Yes. Well he does want to make sure he isn't screwed over...though i hope you didn't leave the guardian alive...he might just go after it himself." The bar tender said as he filled up Gerdi's mug.

Haneul was about to ask why when Gerdi let out a rip of laughter, taking her mug back and chugging down half of it. Her partner stared at her a second, but the blonde threw him a warning glance he barely caught and held his tongue.
"Why would we do that? Sir, ya think too highly of us hunters. We slaughtered tha guardian. Thought Tha forest would come crumblin' like ya always hear, but it dien't," she shrugged and finished off her cup again, holding it out once more. Haneul couldn't stare at her, so he focused on sipping at his drink. She'd lied. Maybe to protect tr now mortal guardian? He turned that thought over a few times and decided it was plausible. It wasn't impossible, and she had tried to help him in the forest...

"I hope so. That fiend eats people. We are always finding stuff and belongings under that damned tree. Along with bleached bones. The ******** leaves the horses alive though. We find their harnesses and see them galloping through the woods. Right pisses me off. So many people die." The bartender said angrily. "Long ago that mountain used to be ours before that thing showed up."

"Ya don't say? Well we shoulda asked fed mere than what we did!" Gerdi held her cup out and pursed her lips. Guardians didn't just fall outta tha sky, so why did that one show up? And he was an angry fella too, so somethin' extra strong must have brought him out. Once glance to Haneul and she knew he was thinking the same thing. They'd met enough guardians and monsters to know what birthed each kind.
