Aericel looked over the books. Interest sparking in his eyes as if he didn't know which to choose first. He came a dark navy blue cover and he pulled it out. His eyes quickly scanned over the back cover reading the small passage from the book. He opened it up to the front page and took a seat and began reading it over.

Alexis looked on in approval and left the room, heading to the balcony. She opened up the French doors, stepped out and swung herself over the railing. She sat there, staring at the sky, her thoughts a hazy whirl as she slowly calmed her mind, beginning to meditate.

Aericel eyes scanned over every word as he read through the book. It seemed to be a tragic romance novel. The story follows a couple through the violent setting of a War Zone. He read one wondering what exactly would happen to the two of them.

Kainoa straightened his shirt and knocked on the door. In one hand he held the Stargazer Lily's and in the other he held a tiny wrapped box. He waited patiently and shifted his weight from one foot to the other.
"'Ello? Anyone home?"

Alexis's eyes snapped open in irritation hearing the knock, her concentration broken. She swung herself off the railing, grabbed one of her newly sharpened knives and stalked to the door. She opened it, the weapon held at her side, hidden by her clothes. She looked up at Kainoa and then at the guards. "You could have just let him in," she informed them coldly.

" I wanted to see you answer the door, oh pampered one. Besides what would they do with these?"
Kainoa hands Alexis the Lily's and package, clears his throat and steps threw the doorway and winks at the guards. He looks at her little student and stifles a laugh.
"Anyway we can get some privacy?"

Alexis just walked back inside, sheathing her knife and attaching it to her hip. She waved Aericel back to the alcove, not wanting him to stop studying. She looked at the Lily, smelling it as subtly as she could before going to find a glass and water to put it in. Finding one, she set the flower on a small side table and then looked over at the package. "Would you prefer that I open this now, or later?" She asked Kainoa. "Or does it require the privacy you want."

Kainoa looked around and follwed closely at her side his knives clinking as he walked. " Now would be good if you would like"

"Very well." Alexis picked up the package, sliding a claw under the paper to unwrap it. She opened the top of the box and stared inside and then back up at Kainoa.

In a split second that she looked up at him, a swirl of powder moved up into her nostrils. It was tasteless and odorless, but more importantly it was a knock out powder made special for her chemistry. He watched as it moved quickly to over power her silently and he smiled catching her. "I forgot to mention that I challenge you Alexis. All is fair in love and war. And love you is what I have been doing my entire life." Kainoa slips the locket from the box around her neck, and carries her out of the room.

Alexis managed a snarl, hand reaching for her knife before her eyes closed, limbs relaxing as she slumped to the ground, the powder a fast acting one.

"You better hope you have a good reason for holding my beta unconcious Kainoa. What are you up to this time?"
Taps sword impatiently, as blocks doorway looking at nails. "You know I can't just let you take her without a fight."

"I was wondering when you would show up cousin. I just initiated a challenge and according to by laws you cannot interfere, and since we are betrothed you still cannot interefer. But if a tail whopping is what you want, take a number and wait I will get to you in good time right now, I need to awaken my mate. My mate- I love the sound of that. You have to admire the training the guardians gave me in potions. Now if you will excuse me."
Closes doors and takes her to her chambers and awakens her with amonia salts and shifts in wolf form and sits across from her.

Alexis coughed awake, her nose burning and she looked around, glaring murderously. Her eyes settled on Kainoa and they went a pale blue. She pulled herself upright, still glaring. "You drugged me," she accused, voice low and angry.

"No Kainoa its your tail I will be tearing up later. Trust and believe that. You are right there is nothing I can do about the bylaws, but there is something I can do about your couth.Watch your back."
