Jay ran through the forest and finally made it to Estella's cabin. He banged on the door a few times and waited.

Estella slept soundly in her tree home 20 feet up in the air. She heard the sounds of arrows and the vibrations of the tree as the arrows stuck into the bark. Her eyes widened awake and she leapt out of bed, grabbing hold of her bow and poisoned arrows, looking out the door. She saw no one and sighed, closing the door. Only to find men inside her home, she glared and brought out her dagger, watching the men chuckling at her. Suddenly Jay's knocks on the door distracted her and she looked back at the door, shouting in pain as she was stabbed in her side and knocked down. Pinned to the ground by one of the men with her dagger tossed aside by the enemy, she sneered at them and opened her mouth to shout, but they stuffed a tissue into her mouth and tied her legs and arms together. Another of the men tossed the tied estella over their shoulder ready to leap out the window.

Jay knocked down the door after he heard her scream, and readied his sword, which he poisoned. He stabbed the man who was holding her and grabbed Estella. The others, seeing the instant death, they ran off. He untied Estella and propped her up. "Are you alright?" He asked her softly. His feelings for her were coming back up as he looked into her eyes.

She breathed staggeringly, taking the tissue out of her mouth to cough. "J-jay!" She cringed at the wound on her side, which had not hit a critical spot but still she was bleeding and in pain. "How did you get here?"

Jay smiled and hugged Estella, careful not to disturb the wound. He took off his shirt and tied it around her body to compress the wound and stop the bleeding. "Well, at least you're alive," he said with a smile.

"Gee, how reassuring... you expected to find me dead?" She asked in a sarchastic manner. "Mind explaining whats going on?"

Jay smiled at her humor and quickly explained what he told her brother. "... and so that's why they attacked you," he said finally.

"Right. Now, it makes much more sense." She cringed again as she held to the wound with her left arm. "So, James decided to leave me here to die? He didn't even worry about me? Thats just great." She scoffed and looked away angrily. "Thats fine, i don't even want to see his sorry face anymore..." She muttered.

Estella nearly toppled over in laughter at those words. "Work together?" She wiped a tear away from her eye both from laughter and pain. "With that arrogant man? I'd sooner die. I'm sure he'd even let me die if he had to decide whether or not to save me." She spoke critically of him, blindly and in rage.

Jay hated to pull this card, but desperate times called for desperate measures. "Both of you are going to work together because I'm older than you and I said so. If you don't listen to me, bad things will happen." He was completely serious.

Jay smiled and went through her treehouse, looking for some medicine. Noticing a eagle out of the window, he motioned for him to come through the window. "And there's James now," he said.

James flew through open window and landed onto the ground, transforming into his human state immediately after. He held to his aching head and sat down somewhere, knowing that he had definitely had too much to drink.
"James." His sister glared at him.
"Estella." He replied underneath a mutter and refused to open his eyes because the sun was giving him more of a headache.
"You received my letter, I suppose." Estella said crossly.
"Letter?" James faked a clueless face as he opened his eyes then narrowed them, tossing out the crumbled paper out of his pocket to her feet. "Oh, you mean that letter?"
"Then, you know already."
"I think we already covered that." James finally glared, losing his patience. "I didn't come here to argue, estella. Jay told me we were in trouble, big trouble by the looks of it." He pointed out to her wound.

Jay sighed. "Well, it's a start," he muttered. "Uh, yeah, you guys, we are in trouble. So I think you should stop shooting daggers with your eyes at each other and start thinking of ways to fix this. I know I care, but right now, you guys seem to be caring more for your stupid feud." He finally spoke up, interuppting what Estella was about to say.
