St. Patricks Day Event - march.20.2006

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Looking up at the sky, Alex shadded her eyes. She had decided to take a walk, what with the weather being so nice and all, but this sun was just so bright. Shrugging her shoulders, she continued to walk through the park, hoping to find something of interest.

User ImageHe blinked, looking confused. "Err, I'm just looking for four leaf clovers..." he answered her, feeling a bit foolish now that he thought about what he was doing. "Uh, I'm Eiten." he then said, remembering her previous question. He stood quickly and wiped his hands off on his pants, then reached out a hand to shake hers.

User ImageEden notices the confusion and then some shame in Eiten, but she doesn't give him importance, when hearing that he is looking for clovers of four leaves, she show him both that has of three leaves.
I was also looking for but alone I have found these two of three leaves she tells him calmed

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex stopped. Straight ahead she could see two figures talking, one seemingly showing the other something. She grinned and ran up to the two. "Hey guys." She smiled, "Im alex" she continued, whilst waving at the both of them. Her tail swishing about.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Eiten smiled when Eden showed him her three leaf clovers, and was tempted to pull his out of his pocket, but he wasn't entirely sure what else he had in his pocket, so he decided against it. "I have two three leaf clovers too." he said with a small smile.

When he noticed the other girl, he almost jumped. People..he didn't like being around a lot of people...and they were girls, too..
"Hi." he said, sounding a bit irritated though he didn't mean to.

User ImageEden smiles brilliantly to Eithen when he tells her that he also has two clovers of three leaves, then she hears a voice and she meets with a quite tall girl that comes running and greeting them, when she is the enough near to answer her without screaming Eden greets her:
Hello I'm Eden Nice to meet you

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex tilted her head to the side. "Whats the matter? Scared ya?" she chuckled referring to the boys' reply. She looked over and down at the girl. "Hey Eden nice to meet ya, Im Alex." She smiled.. pausing she put her finger to her chin in a thoughtful manner, "Did i say that already? Oh well, nice to meet ya! ... again" She laughed. Glancing slightly at the ground to see if she could spot a four leaf clover

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Nothing.." he mumbled to Alex, his eyes now stuck looking down. He was scanning the ground, looking for four leaf clovers, but he also didn't want to look up at the two girls

User ImageEden giggle for Alex's attitude and then she notices Eithen a little shameful looking at the floor, then she asks to Alex:
Are you look for four leaf clover too, Alex she giggle again for see Alex looking at the floor too.
i want a four leaf too!! she start to look for a four leaf too

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "Yup! Im looking for one aswell." Alex says kneeling on the groud a few steps away, searching through the clover patch. She plucked one up from the ground and examined it. "Aw shucks, it only has three leaves." She frowned yet still she placed it in her pocket "Close... but no cigar" she laughed.

Alex looked back over at the boy, "Oh, I didnt quite catch your name earlier.."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Eiten.." he mumbled, messing with a handfull of his shirt. He reached down and picked another clover, shoving it in his pocket without looking at it.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex jumped up. Smushing the poor clovers beneath her feet. She held up the four leaf clover triumpently over her head. "I got one!" she yelled excitedly, stuffing it in her pocket and quickly kneeling back down.

Alex looked over at him, "Eiten! Nice to meet you, Im Alex" She smiled //I have the strangest feeling Ive said this before...// she thought to herself as she shifted through the clovers trying to find one she really liked.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Eiten looked over at her four leaf clover, feeling a bit jealous. "You're lucky.." he said quietly, still looking at the ground for one of his own. "Nice to meet you too, I guess." he said with a small sigh.

User Image A greenhaired girl in a white shirt and blue pants scuffs across the park area, hands shoved in her pockets. Aivva has a lot on her mind... pretty much like usual... and the thought of digging around in the lawn for stuff is the last thing she's likely to do when she's thinking.

Except there's already people doing it, which is at least enough to get her attention. For a moment or two, she watches Alex and Eiten, brows slightly furrowed, then walks over towards them. "....What're you doing?" she asks, once she's close. Her tone sounds somewhat skeptical about the whole process. "Did you drop something in the grass?"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Eiten blinked and looked up at the girl, his eye twitching. Three girls...weren't there any boys around here??

"No...we're looking for four-leaf clovers." he answered her. He couldn't really see too well, since his hair was stuck in his eyes and hanging in his face. He slowly looked back down to the clovers in front of him, and picked another three-leaf one, shoving it into his pocket. He had a feeling that by the time he got back to his room, he would be able to make his own army of four-leaf clovers out of three-leaf ones.

User Image Aivva looks kind of skeptical at that, then looks down at the clover-strewn grass at her feet. ".....Why?" She must've missed whatever rumor spawned this little project, though....now that it's been brought up, she's dimly curious about it. What makes a four leafed clover any different than a three leafed one? "If you pick it, it'll just die anyway," she adds. "Why don't you let them grow?"

But that doesn't stop her from looking.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Uh...because they're lucky." he said, a bit shocked she didn't know about it. "I think they give you advantages in battle.." he said, tossing another three-leaf clover aside once he'd counted its leaves.

User Image "Not very lucky for the clover," she points out. "And anyway... you can't rely on trinkets. You should rely on yourself, and your friends." Her nose wrinkles a little, but then she shrugs a bit and shakes it off, offering Eiten a somewhat apologetic smile. "Uh...sorry. I'm Aivva."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Eiten blinked and just stared up at her, not sure if he should feel attacked or confused. "It's okay.." he mumbled, going with the confused for now. "I'm Eiten."

User ImageEden this looking for a four leaves when another girl comes and she greets Alex and Eithen, she seems that she didnt have seen, good she will have to present her, hopes patiently she finishes speaking with Eithen and then she is presented her.
hello i'm Eden and i look for a four leaf clover too she said with a smile

User Image Aivva really isn't -trying- to make him feel cornered... it's just her force of personality. She frowns faintly for a moment, then tries to look reassuring, "Hey, relax... I don't bite... honest." But then there's a newcomer; a smallish girl with snowy hair. Aivva quirks a brow at her for a moment, but eventually adds her to the conversation. "I'm Aivva. Wow, with all these people out here looking for them, there must not be hardly any -left-..." Again, she looks at her feet with a vague frown. Hnnnh... maybe there -is- something to all this? You never know. She scuffs at the clover with a toe.

User ImageEden smiles brilliantly to Aivva and she said:
Yes a lot of people looking for four leaves clovers but they are very difficult of finding or at least to my, the most common are the three leaves clovers I already have 2 Eden show her clovers so proud of her for find this clovers

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "Lucky? I guess..." she mummbled looking at Eiten, "I'd rather consider it pure skill myself." Alex said light-heartedly with a silly grin on her face. She then looked over at the new girl. "Hey Aivva, mm yeah were looking for four-leaf clovers." She answered, agreeing with Eiten.

Alex looked back at the ground, "Im sure they are lots of em left." She nodded reassuringly, "Their just hiding.." She smiled, "By the way, Im Alex" She waved happily at Aivva. picking up a three-leaf clover and stuffing it in her pocket with the others.

Plushie Event - march.21.2006

User ImageAivva eyed the classroom door for a long moment or two, fidgetting with the small bag of fabric scraps she'd collected to make her plushy with. She was having second thoughts about the whole thing.

It's not that she didn't want one, really, because she did. It was more that a part of her was in Major Fret Mode over whether people would think she was being silly and girly because she played with stuffed animals. (But it's different if you make it yourself, right?) she finally told herself, mentally. (Then it's craft. And skill, not clinging to toys.) Yeah, that's the ticket. She pushed the door open and went in before she could start dithering again.

Once there, of course, it was too late to back out (which was kind of the point of the sudden entry), and after a moment spent eyeing the seats for a good place to park herself, she headed towards an empty chair and plunked down on it. The scraps were emptied out on the desktop in front of her and she eyed them for a long moment. Okay...she's here... she's got....stuff, kinda. Now what? ....dangit.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex entered the classroom. It seemed empty.. That didn't suprise her though. She did find out about the workshop a bit late. She saw materials scatted over the desks, wondering what kind of toys the others who were in here made. Alex sat down at a desk. She looked at the colour choices and started thinking about what she should make.

User Image Aivva looked up as the classroom gained another occupant. It was that Monstrare girl she met briefly while looking for clovers outside. After a moment's thought, she clears her throat and offers a wave, before adding, "I didn't know you'd signed up for the workshop too... what are you going to make?" Honestly, Alex seemed like the least 'girly' girl Aivva knew, which made her feel a little better about being here herself. In the meantime, she picked through her scraps. Hn. Green. She likes green... (funny that.)

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex noticed the green haird girl named Aivva she met out in the park earlier sitting down. "Oh hey Aivva." She smiled and waved back, feeling a little silly for being here, but at least she wasn't alone. Yeah. Alex sat down in a desk next to Aivva. "What am i going to make... Hmm, I-" She paused, "I dont know actually." She laughed, "Maybe a frog.. or a bird!" she said excitedly

Alex looked at the scraps on Aivva's desk, "What about you? What are you planning to make?"

User Image Aivva swung her legs a little. "Nnn. Don't know yet," she admits, though... hrm. "Maybe a griffin." Oh no. Nothing easy like a turtle or a frog for HER, never! Although... even she realizes that's probably too hard. "Or a dragon, maybe." She could make one with only two legs if the legs turn out to be hard to do, she reasons. Two legged dragons are fine, but people think you're weird if you have a two legged cat plushy or something. "I think a bird would be cool," she adds towards Alex, just in case she might need help making up her mind.

User ImageErin wandered back past the plushie workshop room, and peeked in through the door, wondering who was around. He noticed that there were now two girls in the room that he hadn't seen in there before. He entered the room and snuck up behind them, peering over their shoulders as they discussed what to make. He smiled, they were pretty cute! "Good afternoon, ladies!" he said, suddenly.

User Image Aivva would ordinarily have noticed the newcomer, but she's so wrapped up in her plans, his arrival goes unseen. Let's see... this red scrap for the belly, this green velvet for the back... not enough green velvet. How about thi...

"AAGH!" Undignified? Well... yeah. But someone SNUCK UP ON HER! Of course, in doing so, he's going to have deal with her reaction to it... in this case, a preternaturally swift elbow swung backward sharply. Whether it connects or not, she stands and turns on her "assailant", frowning at him with her hands on her hips. "And what's the big idea?!" Grr, now you've done it.

User ImageErin almost noticed the elbow coming straight for his stomach, but wasn't able to move in time, and got clipped well in the side. He buckled over slightly, clutching the place of impact. He let out a loud groan "urggh..." and scrunched up his face. It wasn't the hardest hit he'd ever felt, but when not expecting such a thing, it can really hurt.

When he saw the girl standing over him in a threatening manner, he tried to lighten the situation quickly and smoothly, "Hey, hey, take it easy!" he said with a smile that probably looked like a grimace through the pain, "I was just saying hello! I'm sorry I suprised you."

User ImageThe black haired girl entered the plushie workshop with a smile on her face. She had been looking forward to the class for a long time in hopes that she would finally be able to make something nice using her own to hands, and with a little help to make sure she wasn't hurt in the process. Veruvi and needles were a bad combination.

The first sight that greeted Veruvi was an unexpected one. A girl was standing over someone in a threatening manner as if there had been a ruckus earlier. There was another girl as well nearby. She blinked in surprise at the scene , "Um...is this the plushie workshop?"

User Image Aivva huffed a sigh at the guy as he backpedaled... it's a good thing the strike was glancing, she muses. All she needs is to hit someone -hard- on accident and then it's off to explain why she's abusing the other students.

"Well... just don't sneak up on me again..." she grumbles, but allows him grace in retreat. "I didn't mean to hit you, but you -did- startle me. Sorry." There's a glance towards yet another person coming in; she runs a hand over her grass-colored hair and heaves another sigh. This time, there's a smile, albeit kind of a 'nothing's going on here, move along, move along' sort of expression.

"Yeah, it sure is! Come on in and have a seat." Totally nothing amiss here! Just... ignore the guy she just kidney-jabbed over there. Ahem.

User ImageEden had heard that there was a class of making plushies in workshop, she goes toward there with a lot of enthusiasm, She wants to learn how to make a horse plushie, white as the snow. With that thought she arrives before the door of the class to hear voices inside, happy that she won't be alone, she enters resolved. Inside she see several people but she recognizes Alex and Aivva, with a charming smile she goes up to where it is Alex to greet her and to sit down next to her.
Hello Alex , do you want learn how made a plushi?, im too!! her enthusiasm is reflected in her eyes.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex nodded at the other girl's words. //Aivva's making a dragon... Makes a bird look too easy...// She thought to herself. "I think I'll make Chimera." Now that she really thought about it, shes always liked Chimeras. And she didn't want to look soft.

For a few minuets she was fully engrossed in her plushie. Picking and choosing from the various colours. That she didnt even notice when a boy appeared out of nowhere behind them and spoke up. It was when Aivva yelled that she looked up and saw her swing backwards and hit the boy in the side. Okay well not totally hit, more like a graze, but still. It seemed enough to hurt.

Alex sat in her desk, quiet for a few moments but then bursted out laughing. "Sorry, sorry" She said towards the boy, "But that was really funny..." She 'ahemed' and tried to stiffle her laughter.

A new girl arrived just then. Alex nodded as Aivva explained that this was in fact the plushie workshop. Alex out of no where pointed at the girl. "Hey!" she said unexpectedly, and rather loudly. "Im Alex" She smiled at the girl and put her arm down.

Alex looked over at Eden, "Hey Eden. Yeah I can't wait till im finished. Ive never made anything before." She smiled at eden and picked up a needle, some black thread and some purple fabric to began trying to make a chimera. Yes. A purple Chimera.

User ImageEden smiles to Alex's enthusiasm, she likes Alex, she is cheerful and amusing. while she speaks, she see pick up a needle and purple fabric.
me neither and i never made something like that before, mmm you have caught purple, beautiful color I want to make a white horse plushie
She pick up a needle and look for fabric

User ImageEden finds the fabric that wants in white, she touch it and she finds enough soft, now she goes toward where the threads are and she begins to compare with the fabric until pick up a white thread that it don't see in the fabric, prefect for the seams.

User Image

So, Alex that you find this thread with the fabric, I believe that it is perfect to make some invisible seams she shows the fabric and the thread to Alex with concentrated expression.

User ImageErin was taken aback by the sudden burst of laughter from the other girl, but her laughter was catching, and he started laughing, too. The whole thing was really funny. "I'm really sorry!" he said through fits of giggles, "I won't do it again! I just wanted to see what you were making." He rubbed at the spot she had hit, it would probably bruise, but the sharp pain had dulled already.

"I already made a couple of plushies, but they weren't very good."

User Image Aivva sighed gratefully as the kid she elbowed didn't seem inclined to hold it against her. Settling back into her chair, she offers, "I'm Aivva," to those incoming, lifting a hand to wave. "Nice to meet you all... I guess the workshop isn't going to be as empty as I thought!"

To Erin, she holds up a piece of dark green cloth, "I'm going to make a dragon," she explains with a smile. With...two legs, and wings." There's a specific term for such a beast, but... given that she can't remember it offhand, she just leaves it off. "But...enough talking. It's not gonna make itself, right?" She grins, then starts cutting out bits of fabric for the body and legs from the green cloth she'd been waving around. That done, she digs around for some green thread to start stitching it together again. "I've never done this before, but... you can't learn if you don't try, right?" And even if her plush is terrible, she's still going to keep it.

Erin smiled, "My name's Erin. Nice to meet you!" He watched her pick up some scraps of cloth, "You know, I made a dragon, too! I love things that can fly!" He smiled at her and sat down in the chair on the other side of her from the other girl. "I also made a frog... but they're both up in my room now."

User ImageAfter showing the fabric and the thread to Alex, Eden goes to a great book of seam patterns, She begins to look for among their pages until finding the model of a horse plushie. Then she catches the fabric the other way around and the pattern draws in it carefully, she doesn't want to make a mistake. Once satisfied with the final drawing she goes toward some big scissors to begin to cut the fabric.

User ImageEden catches the scissors and she begin to cut the fabric slowly, first a figure and then another until having cut all the pattern's figures. Carefully she picks up the remnants of the fabric and the guard, it can that they are good for something. now with the figures already cut, she returns to the book to see as sewing one with other, she begins with a paw, first she threads the needle with the white thread. she picks up two of the eight pieces of the paws and she begins to sew the other way around with the fabric. once finished she gives the turn to the piece and the padded with cotton. and she makes this with each one of the paws, once finished the paws begin with the body. The body is easier it is as a great sack sewn around to the of a circular base, once finished the body and stuffed, Eden sews the paws to it.
yaiiiiiiiii, it already has a small form to horse she said so happily

User ImageErin marveled at Eden. Where had she found that book of patterns? Had he completely missed that??? He wished someone had told him there were patterns to go off of, it would have made his endeavors so much simpler.

User ImageEden realizes somebody looking her, and she see a boy with the white hair as her and she smiles him kindly.
hello, I'm Eden, you like my plushie

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "Im sure your plushies look awesome" Alex replied looking at Erin. She noticed that Eden was talking to her, as she looked up and saw her holding some special kind of thread. "Mmm thanks, but this black thread is good, I kinda like the way seems look."

She watched Eden draw her shapes and then cut them out. Alex looked down at her own progress and heaved a slight sigh. "I have no idea what im doing..." she winned more or so to herself than to anyone else. "Lets see... if I put this here... and sew it together here..." She mumbled. After much effort she held up.. uh.. what seemed to be a somewhat mishapened purple bird. "Almost done!" Alex exclaimed feeling acomplished.

//Alls I need now is some pink buttons for eyes and to add the beak and feet.// She thought to herself, looking around the classroom

User Image"Nice to meet you, Eden. My name's Erin." He smiled. "Yours looks very good. You seem to know what you're doing much better than I did. Mine came out pretty uneven... but I didn't even know there was a pattern book over there! That probably would have helped!" he laughed nervously. "Have you done this before? You seem so skilled."

User ImageEden almost has all the sewn parts, alone she has to unite them and the last details. she begins to look for for the class something of white wool to make the tail and the mane of her plushie. she finds the wool and she begins to cut pieces of the same measure.
When she thinks that she already has enough she begins to sew the wool to the plushie, once finished, she goes to the buttons' box to choose two to make the eyes. " looks at these two
clear blue buttons they are perfect for the eyes" she pick up the buttons and go to sew their to the plushie.
she begins to sew all the parts, it seems that her finished her horse plushie, but she even gets up to look for some
pink thread becouse she wants to embroider something to the horse. With the pink thread Eden embroiders the nose and a butterfly back right haunch of the horse. Now she is happy with her result.
" hey, i finish my horsy, look at it!!

User Image"Wow... that's incredible! It's like a professional one you'd buy in the store!" Erin was really amazed at this delicate girl's skill. He leaned forward to look at the horse more closely. "And it didn't take you very long at all... wow." He smiled at her, he just couldn't help being impressed. "Are you going to make another one? The information on the poster said we could make up to three each."

User ImageEden blushes when hearing the compliment of Erin, " Thanks Erin, can that you didn't see the book of patterns because I brought it of the library when I came" she made a gentil smile " I like to sew, I will make other but i dont know if a rabbit or teddy bear, that you prefer" she said smiling

User Image"Oh, no wonder I didn't see it before! That's smart of you to come prepared," Erin felt sheepish. "I think you should make a rabbit next," he stated. "Is there a pattern for a rabbit in that book of yours?" He really wanted to look through her book and see all of the patterns.

User Image "Mmmmmmmmm a rabbit alright but this time I want it of color peach" she thinks that a rabbit peach can be very cute " of course you can see the book, i think the title said " the big pet plushie book" for this i bring the book here" she smile gentil to Erin

User Image"That would be adorable! You're so creative." He smiled back at her and took the book. He looked through the pages and marveled at all of the different plushes there were to make. He saw that there were actually three different types of bunny patterns in the book, and he picked one and pointed it out to Eden, "I think you should make this one, in peach like you said."

User Image" yes , is so cute , thanks Erin for your help" she smile and hug Erin "Can you help me in this plushie?" She smile so kindly

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "There we go" Alex sighed, feeling acomplished. As she put the need down. And double check that she had put the eyes on correctly. She had to admit, it came out fairly well. She felt so proud of herself as she set her purple bird on the desk and looked at it.

She glanced over and saw Erin and Eden talking. Eden had finished her horse. And what an adorable horse at that. "Aww your plushie came out so well." Alex complimented as she got up to go take a closer look at it, bringing her birdy along with her.

Smores Event - May.23.2006
(from page 117 cool

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex took one last look in a mirror before she decided that she looked alright for the bonfire and campout.

"New students eh?" she mused to herself. Realizing just now that she hasn't really gotten to meet anybody at the school. She headed up the hill towards bonfire, walking with her eyes towards the sky. Alex heard that there would be smores involved, she smiled at the thought of the gooey goodness waiting for her.

User Image Dean was unsure about this. Going to the smores thing di mean a warm fire, but it also meant he'd have to get motivated and possibly even sing Those Songs. He knew the ones, the songs where everyone forgot the middle verses and made up for this by singing the ones they knew over and over again hoping nobody would notice. And there were bound to be ghost stories, which, as much as he denied it, he was slightly uncomfortable with. (Or scared silly as the case may be.) However, it was his chance to get to know the other students and a chance like this wouldn't soon come around again. And after all, if he stayed here, he might get bored. It wasn't like there was anything to do but sleep, an activity which he had just done in large quantities.

User ImageMilly hopped around the room as she tugged on her hoodie. This is exciting her first social interaction with others. She looked in the mirror and stuck her tongue out at the bperson that stared back at her. Maybe she could tell a ghost story or something. She tugged on one pigtail as she opened the door and took a hop start into the hall for her destination.

User Image Heading outside, Dean realized he hadn't bothered to find out where the actual bonfire event was. He looked about and coughed, shuffling his feet and figuring that if he walked slowly enough, someone else would come heading in the right direction. And then he could follow behind them nonchalantly. Liking this idea, he hovered near the entrance, looking for all the world like he was supposed to be there anyway.

User ImageMilly hummed and danced down the hall. This was going to be fun, and to think Camping too! She stopped a moment and took a deep breath as she did not want to fall with anyone around, it was common for her to do so, this prevented her from becoming too excited, though it never worked. She had actually picked up speed as she rushed to get outside when she spotted the door. "YAAAAAAHHHH!" the echo of the hall was loud as she as usual tripped on her shoelace and went rolling down the hall.

User ImageDean heard the 'Yaaaaa' first. Looking into the hall, he then saw something rolling at him. Raising an eyebrow and telling himself there could be a reasonable explanation, he decided to wait for it to stop rolling before he decided to see what had happened. Trying to stop it now might mean he'd start rolling too.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex brought her attention to the winding path before her. She couldn't wait to get there. Hopefully she could make some new friends. Maybe have a smore eating competition or something. Alex's mind began race with ideas. She paused to pick up a small stick off the ground, she threw her arm up in the arm pointing the stick towards the sky. Alex laughs maniacly, "Oh and of course ill win too!" she snickers.

User ImageMilly giggled as she came out of the roll landing on her stomach. "That was great!" she prenounced as she pushed herself up and began checking for damage. The was a small scrap on her knee but that would heal quickly, she was adjusting her socks when she noticed Dean, "Oh um..." She turned alittle red but shook it off, "Hi, I'm Milly, are you going to the hill top?" she looked curiously as him as her ears flicked when she spoke.

User Image Dean was busy wondering what kind of kid this was. She reminded him slightly of Drake with that sort of crazy energy. Shaking his head, he said "Ahm, yeah. Hilltop. Right." He flicked an ear and was about to head off when it occured to him that even though he now had a place to go, he didn't know where that place was. He turned around and smiled at the girl. "Hey, why don't you lead the way?"

User ImageMilly blinked at him for a moment, "Well, okay. One thing though all I know is that iit is in the forest on the hill top." She went ahead of him and held open the door, "I'm sure that we can figure the rest out or at least find someone who knows where it is as I am new here." She tapped her foot as she waited for him to follow as he had made her leader.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex brought her hand to her hip, as she leaned on one side and poked her cheek with the trip of the stick. "I wonder how you make smores anyways." she mumbled to herself. Alls she knew was that they tasted delicious. She shuged and and started to go to the hill again.

User ImageDean nodded at her, willing to follow her lead as long as it brought him somewhere. "You're new here, too then?" he asked. His hands were in his pockets and his walk was still at an easy pace. "You weren't one of the kids from the train wreck, were you?" He briefly wondered if she knew more about the incident than he did, if he recalled correctly he appeared to have slept through most of it. He knew he enjoyed sleeping and lazing about, but never realized how a hobby could get to you.

User ImageMilly smiled, "Yeah, I was one of the one so they told me though I don't remember anything, they said I slept through it." She was now hopping on her right foot as they were going in the opposite direction of the school, that should be the way to the forest, right? "So I take it by you too that you are new?" She put her hands on her hips and she looked at him for an answer.

User ImageDean nodded. "They found me asleep, too." He was surprised he wasn't more frightened about it. But then again, it wasn't a frightening memory, not anymore than a quick catnap was a life and death situation. Absentmindedly, he stroked his tail, letting it slip through and around his hand as it waved gently. Eventually, something occured to him. "By the way, what's your name? I'm Dean, Dean Roodrey."

User ImageMilly smiled at Dean as he had become a little more friendly, "I'm Milly Hearts. Milly is just fine." She curtseyed a little as she turned to look at which way to go, "Hmmm..." she took a deep breath, "I wonder if I shout someone would hear us and they would help us?" She looked over her shoulder to see what Dean would say.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Sighing Alex decided to sit down cross-legged on the grass by a little tree. //Ill just wait for someone to show up. Its rather boring walking by myself// She blew the strand of hair thats always in her face upwards as she started poking the ground with her stick.

User ImageDean shrugged. "Maybe. Or maybe it would just make our ears hurt. I mean, it seems to me like a bonfire party is gonna have lots of people. And lots of people usually means lots of noise, no?" He let go of his tail. "I don't know, maybe it also means there are more people to hear us." Stiffening, he realized something. "Wait, you mean we're lost?"

User ImageMilly began to chuckled at Dean, "We're not lost, but I don't want to end up to be lost especially in a forest like Hansel and Gredal?! THat would not be fun." With a nod of her head she grinned and cupped her hands around her mouth like a megaphone to amplify her voice, "CAN ANYONE GOING TO THE BOND FIRE HELP US?! WE COULD ALL GO TOGETHER!" Her ears twitched as she shouted, it was rather loud considering she was the one shouting.

User ImageDean winced at the noise and his ears swiveld to lay flat on his head. "Well, as long as we've alerted the world, we might as well sit down and wait." he said. Flopping down onto the ground, he sat in a relaxed position. "Hansel and Gretel found a gingerbread cottage, don't forget." It didn't sound too bad to him.

User ImageMilly flopped down, "Oh sure that's the great part, but what about the witch, you can't forget her!" She nodded vigorously as she thought about it, "Nothing comes for free and I am not one to be gobbled up."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex stood up, she had heard a rather large scream. She looked behind her. She couldn't really see anyone. Alex squinted her eyes. She managed to make out two little specs in the distance. "People!" she sounded excited. She ran away from the forest to the people. Waving and smiling with her stick still in her hand. She stopped in front of the two sitting people. She took a second to catch her breathe and then looked down at them both. "Hey there." she smiled.

User Image"Fair enough." Dean conceded. "Not to mention all the cavaties..." He pulled a few blades of grass lazily. "So how long do you think it'll take for them to find us?" he asked. That was a point that had worried him. If they couldn't see the bonfire's glow, they were either missing the obvious or it was a way away.

EDIT: Dean looked up. Well, that was faster than he'd expected. "Hello, there."

User ImageMilly jumped up excited to get away from the idea of a witch and the fact that her plan had worked, "HI! I'm Milly and this is Dean. We're really new and didn't know where the bondfire was going to be...could you take us with you? If you are going that way, I mean if you wouldn't mind, kind of would be really nice of you..." she was running her mouth a mile a minute and then stopped as she realized that they might not understand her.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex tilted her head to the side. She paused for a minute. //Wow this girl can talk// She chuckled a bit at her thought. "Hi Milly, Dean. Im Alex." She smiled, "Yeah, I'll take you. I was actually on my way myself." Alex nodded.

User ImageDean got up and brushed some grass off his trousers. "Thank you." he said politely. Briefly wondering if Alex was chuckling at him, he felt the back of his shirt to make sure no one had stuck a note onto it. No note was present, so maybe she was laughing at something else. He gave it a mental shrug and waited for the group to get a move on.

User ImageMilly smiled, "Great! We owe you one. It's wonderful to meet you, Alex." She dusted herself off and chuckled softly at Dean who seemed to worry about everything. "You lead Alex, that would be best."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex nodded somemore and made an overly dramatic pose, pointing towards the forest. "Off we go!" Alex trotted determindly while chanting "Smores! Smores! Smores!"

User ImageDean couldn't share in Alex's enthusiastic display, but did try to get into the spirit of things. He waved a hand in the air slowly. "Woo!" he said in a way that made the most it could of his reserves of enthusiasm for a warm fire and company. He noticed the hand waving revelry was causing him to lag behind, so he stopped and picked up his pace unitl he was close enough to resume his strolling pace.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex glanced back at Dean as he caught up to herself and Milly.

She looked to Milly who was walking next to her. "So what kinds of things do you like or not like? If you dont mind me asking?" Alex asked Milly as the trio got closer to the forest.

User ImageMilly laughed at the two of them being silly, she jumped into the air and punched, "Let's be off and have fun! S'mores here we come!"

User Image Dean nodded, for this proposal sounded sensible to him. He followed Milly and said "Soooo... how is everyone?" in an effort to strike up conversation.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex grins. "Thats the spirit Milly!"

She looks at Dean. "Im good! You?" Alex blows her hair out of her face.

User ImageMilly giggled at Alex and smiled at Dean, "Dean, if we weren't good, we wouldn't be going to these... but I am fine." Her ear twitched as she felt her hair prickle against her.

User ImageDean's ear twitched. "I'm cool, just fine." he said lazily. "So, what does this bonfire thing include, anyway?" He was a bit hazy on the details here. All he had picked up on the event were along the lines of fire, smores, and some sort of stories.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex chuckled, "Well, Its a campout, so there will be camping involved. Hopefully the storys will be very very scary~" Alex moved her arms in a wave like motion as she said 'very'.

"The bonfire and stuff is supposed to welcome the new students. Other than that.. I guess i dont really know anything about it either..." Alex shurgged.

User ImageDean nodded. "I can handle scary stories. After all, they're just made up..." Inwardly, Dean groaned. Scary stories made him uneasy. "So we get a warm welcome? No pun intended." He had started playing with his tail again, lazily letting it twist between the fingers of one hand.

User ImageMilly danced around Alex and Dean as she explained the whole bonfire event, "Well, there is a lot of food going to be served and everyone is going to have fun together." She was really excited about the information of having fun, "And plus we'll be altogether and we'll exchange ghost stories!"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex laughed at Dean's 'warm welcome'. "Thats funny~" Alex looked to Milly when she started talking. "Ghost stories~ And Food~ I can't wait!" Alex exclaimed, excitement swelling inside her.

User ImageDean nodded slowly. It sounded okay. Certainly the right place to relax. "So how far away is it now?" he asked interestedly. He wanted to know how long a walk they had to get to this place. He might need to find it again, after all. He probably wouldn't remember how far away it was if ever he needed to know, but at least he was asking.

User ImageMilly looked around as they walked, she would have to come explore this place after the bonfire, "how many people are going? I mean, are your friends going Alex?" She was being a little nosy but there was nothing wrong with getting to know people right?

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "Not too long..." Alex said unsurely. She was horrible with time estimates. She turned to Milly, "My friends? I don't really have any friends... yet. I haven't gotten out much or talked to anybody really... but thats gonna change at the bonfire!" She said determindly

User ImageDean felt content. The night air was cool, they were going to arrive at the campfire soon, and there he could meet some people, listen to stories, and generally have fun. "Well, what about us? You're talking to us right now, and no one's grown to despise each other yet." he pointed out, stifling a sleepy yawn.

User ImageMilly nodded in agreement with Dean, "Yes, that is true, we seem to be meshing well. I consider that really good especially since there are some people who might think me annoying..." She pouted a little at the thought of it, "But we'll have fun making s'mores together. I mean anything with chocolate is great!"

User ImageDean shrugged. Chocolate was okay, but vanilla was more to his preference. Not willing to be disruptive with this news, he instead said "Yeah, smores sound good. I'm more of a smore eater than a smore maker, myself." He grinned at this, his first in the discussion.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Alex grinned "I like it when you go to bite a smore, and the marshmellow starts to fall out the other end, and then you try to save it and it ends up getting everywhere." Alex started to ramble. She looked around, "We should be there pretty soon. The group continued walking. Through the forest sounds could be heard. "You think thats people at the Bonfire?" She looked at the two

User ImageMilly smiled at Dean's comment, "Did you just make a funny?" She chuckled as she thoughabout it, "The only thing is the marshmellows...they get stuck everywhere!" She could remember making messes that got her into deep trouble for messing up the kitchen, "Maybe!" Her ears twitched at the sound.

Ehhh. Just go here xD;

Maid & Butler Appreciation Week Event - May.25.2006

Prompt o2.

~dingringbangbeepding~

Alex's arm reach out from underneath her blanket, grabbing the clock and throwing it against the wall. She slowly sat up and got out of bed, her blanket hanging over the side.

Today I'll get to wear those cute outfits.

Alex smiled looking into the mirror as she brushed her hair. She dawned on her clothes and packed a few necessities. Toothbrush, toothpaste, a change of undergarmets, and a hairbrush. Alex walked down the hallway with bag in hand and closed the door behind her.

At the train station Alex was trying to find an empty seat. Students were pouring in all around her. There was alot of commotion. She looked out the window, the early morning sun was already beating down. Sending its rays through the train windows. Alex found an empty window seat next to some kind who was sleeping. Now he has the right idea alex thought.

Peering out the window, the platform was empty. The train inched forwards, It horn blew, and the wheels began to turn. The trains start, made Alex bang her head on the window that she was looking out of. "Well that was a bit sudden..." She mumbled to herself lightly rubbing her head as she sat back in her seat.

Alex tried to get comfortable but train's just wern't her thing. She wondered if she would ever get used to them. She was still pondering who thought when she fell asleep with her head leaning against the window.

She wasn't sure how long the train ride was. Seeing as how she was asleep the entire time. Alex slowly woke up and imediatly looked out the window. Students were filing out of the train, and there were alot of older people on the platform aswell.

So those are the people we will be working for eh?

Alex wasn't to thrilled about cleaning or doing some other tedious job for complete strangers. I mean she did enough of that for her parents. She sighed and stood up. Taking a couple of seconds to stretch she departed the train.

Its all for the cute outfit. For the cute outfit. Alex told herself over and over again. Though she guessed that she really should try to appreciate the real maids and butlers. I know i sure as heck wouldn't want to clean after other people for my entire life..

It was that last thought that led Alex to start thinking about her own future. "I know dad and mother always wanted me to take over the family business"

Alex's parents own an Italien restaurant and a small cafe. They had hopped that someday she would run the business when they are gone.

Yet, Alex wasn't the sort to just fall into plans. Her grandmother said she was like a river. Always up for an adventure. When something blocks your path, you manage to cave a new route.

Suddenly Alex was brought back to the present. This isnt the time to be reminesing. She mentally kicked herself. Looking up she saw an elderly woman. Alex was taken aback at first. Of course, wouldn't you have been? Caught up in your own little world only to be jerked out of it and come face to face with some old lady? Alex sighed. Her hand to her heart, feeling the beat slow down.

"You'll do just fine." She held a kind expression upon her wrinkly overworked face. Alex was confused when the words left the lady's mouth but she quickly rememberd why she was there in the first place. Alex smiled and tightened the grip on her bag, and silently followed the lady.

Taking a stroll

Entry 001.

I got a new Journal Diary today. For some odd reason I woke up at dawn and decided to take a stroll. If i think about it now, I never really walked around yet. I had an interesting day to say the least.

Alex grinned, as she continued scribbling her thoughts down.

I got my portrait drawn. I was really excited. As I was sitting on the stool, there were many times I was tempted to turn my head as a sound or the sight of somthing wizzing by captured my attention. But the artist would always make a sound to bring me back to focus. I was kind of worried it would turn out horrible.

Putting down her pencil she lifted the notebook up and laughed. Thinking about how she felt before. She put the book down and continued her writing happily.

The lady was really pretty. Oh, im talking about the artist by the way. She had a long simple teal sun dress on, with a white shawl. Her eyes were the palest blue Id ever seen. I could help but asume a delightful expression.

She giggled.

She didn't take long at all. Though for me it seemed like an eternity. I haven't showed my parents the drawing yet. I just can't get enough of it. Such talent. Skill.

Alex stopped writing. Satisified with what she wrote. She would finish there for the night. And as she closed the book, she tucked the picture inside its pages.
