Astrox My first time.. I was 12 or 13. I was very curious and all the people I hung out with were 14/15 and had smoked lots before. So one day I asked if I could try some and they said "yeah sure." But I definately did it to look cool. When I told my parents that I smoked they pretty much forced me to smoke with them. And I did. It was a good smoke too, they even bought quality organic BC weed and taught me the ways of the good stoner. That is the coolest tale yet, that is cool you smoked with your parents.

One of my friends parents are major potheads. They let him wake-n'-bake before school. My parents are not too happy when they found out that i tried it. They did it in collage, and i bet they don't know how more harmless it is than booze (unless you take both at the same time, the weed can supress the urge to puke and you could die) I don't plan on smoking very much. I might on 4/20, but, its 4/20 man.

Hmm, I haven't actually smoked in months (except for the day my dog died, but that doesn't count, as I was also very drunk at the time)
I don't think I could actually wake-n'-bake if I ever hoped to function at school. Part of the reason I smoke is that it makes me fall asleep, meaning that I can actually get more than 2 hours of sleep a night.

I grew up under the "just say no" campaign. One day two of my girlfriends were giggling and putting something inside of them in the bathroom and talking about how it felt. They looked at me with sneaky glances and asked me if I wanted to try one. "No way!" I said, thinking it was some kind of drugs you took in a strange way. When I got older, I realized I had said no to a tampon!

I interviewed a bunch of teens at my church, and most of them agreed there was more pressure (from the school, parents, ads, books, TV) NOT to do drugs than there is pressure from friends TO do it. The few that felt pressured agreed that people had just offered them a joint and then shrugged and passed it on when they said no. But these few had pretty low self confidence so they "felt" (probably due to books and ads about peer pressure everywhere that doesn't exist) that people might think they were uncool if they didn't do it.
One of my mid school friends says it makes her so mad that the school does all this "don't do marijuana, it's terrible for you" etc. etc. But they never say that any other drugs are bad. Okay, we better not smoke marijuana, lets smoke crack, or shoot up heroin, or do meth, because that must be safe right?
