"No, I'm sad to say I am not. There's nothing left for me here. My family and friends have already left for Aman, I just felt that it was time for me to make the same journey." She sighed. "What about you?"

"This is the only home I have ever known," she lamented, "but nevertheless I hope to find some closure across the Sea, and a fresh start."

"I see." She shifted her weight stightly. "It seems as if we'll go going on this journey together then. You can call me Sumayah if you wish. Oh, and this is Trin. She is bit high strung."
The bird held up her head as if to confirm this. Sumayah shut her blue eyes and laughed lightly.
[So... when are they (elves and halfling that is) gonna show up... this is going to get old real fast. ninja ]

She smiled at the Eagle, and it turned its head with a look of apparent distaste. Laughing, she said, "I can tell!"
"And you can call me Earana. It no longer suits me, but it is the only name I have."
Trin now begin to flutter restlessly, and Earana turned to see that a small company had gathered on the landing beside the docks. Cirdan stood beside Mithrandir, clothed in white, and the red gleam of Narya the Great shone from his hand even at a distance. Three Halflings stood, rather overwhelmed, behind the Wizard.
((Thar she blows. And now I've got to eat dinner.))

Sumayah turned her head and looked over her shoulder, while doing so she had grabbed and silenced the noisy ball of feathers on her lap. "Hmm... quite a sight."
On the docks a forth Halfling stood by Mithrandir, seemingly bidding the others good-bye. That third went and embrased the others, giving something to one. He then turned towards Mithrandir and moved toward him and the way onto the ship.
[Joy. Have a nice dinner.]

He finally worked up the courage to come on board and stood there in the middle of the deck, feeling awkward.

"So, do you have any family...or friends you're going to miss when you leave?" He walked over to stand beside her. ((so are you going to control the npc's?))

[Yay.. Gaia lives.]
"All of my family is where I am headed. In Aman." She said, sighing. She still looked on the scene on the docks. Mithrandir and the Halfling were boarding now.
[I suppose so, until someone takes their positions. All book characters (accept Arwen) are open. Other NPCs are controled by the person interacting with them, I suppose.]

Sumayah lifted her face to looks at him with her blue eyes. "Hmm? Why do you hesitate?"
[Just so everyone knows... no one in Middle Earth knows about what has happened in Aman... yet.]

Elrond and Galadriel appeared on the landing, Mithrandir still by the side of the Halflings. They spoke their bittersweet partings, and the Three Keepers accompanied two Halflings as they walked toward the ship, one very old and using a walking stick, the other younger, but whose eyes revealed the wisdom within him. He was silent leaving his three companions standing together, and yet apart, with grief.
And so ended the Third Age of Middle-earth.

The three Elves already aboard stood to greet the remnant at the prow of the ship. They bowed reverently, nearly in unison, when the five passed, each bearing a look of solemnity and perhaps a sense of nostalgia. Once all were on board, CĂrdan stood alone on the docks as the Last Ship sailed into the sunset, for a far green country with white shores, beyond the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and rolled back. Now the future of Middle-earth lay in the hands, in the hope and strength, of Men.

As the ship set off, Sumayah took her seat again on the deck of the boat. She shut her eyes and bowed her head, one hand stroking the bird in her lap. So she stayed for most of the voyage.
As they passed over the calm seas and neared the white shores of their destination, sounds of surprise were emitted by those who had been looking for the shores to appear. At these sounds Sumayah raised her head and looked towards the direction they were headed. What she saw did not look at all like the Aman they had all dreamt about.

Clouds had been appearing in the sky more and more frequently throughout the course of the journey, eventually taking on an ominous tangibility. It was the first sign that something was amiss. The Keepers spoke in hushed voices over this turn of events, trying and failing to hide their apprehension.
Earana had been standing on deck when she saw it--an enormous tower, its height immeasurable, lost within the clouds. It was not long before the others caught sight of it. Spurs jutted out violently from the four corners of its smooth surface, belying the foul deeds that took place within. All about it was a thick atmosphere of ash and smoke, interrupted by the sporadic cries of the fallen.
This was not their destination, it could not be. The passengers of the ship, white and swan-like in the water, were speechless.
