Eragon instantly turned around to face Brophy, only to see his back was to him. Eragon wasn't about to strike Brophy from behind. "Your stupid to drop near me with your back to me. I don't know why you chose to expose yourself, but we must defeat Shadow, even if it means killing you. You think he's so powerful and that he will teach you dark secrets, well your as much of an idiot as I first thought you ******** mick, no offense Gilvan. I believe a mick is just a dumbass irishman like Brophy, not you." With that, Eragon rushed towards Brophy, the right sword swinging, the left guarding in case of a counter attack.
Gareon got the strength th stand up, and reached for his sword, only to grab an unfamiliar object. This wasn't his sword, but it pulsed in his hands, like he knew he was supposed to weild it. It was a pulple and black sword, with a demons head on either side of the hilt. He looked up and saw his face in the mirror. "What is this."

Gilvan took hold of his magnum, and aimed it at Brophy. He did not aim directly, but slightly to the side as to not hit Eragon if anything were to happen. "Ya got a lotta guts, kid, but I can guarantee you want to keep them inside ya. Ya got thirty seconds ta leave before ya lose them all, so think quickly and clearly." He did not like the idea of Brophy turning on them, but whatever happens, happens, and theres not a damn thing he could do about it other than act accordingly.
As Gareon looked into the mirror and noted the changes, he stepped up close behind him. "This is your true form. The one you've been aching to be... Gareon was just a mere name to call you when you came into existance from Eragons sword. Now... your true name..." Shadow whispered into his ear, and then backed away slightly. "Now that I have given you your identity, you must make sure not to discrace it. More importantly, you must not discrace me... Now go... kill off the mockeries of resistance that have been annoying me since they arrived here... but bring Aroura to me... alive..."

Brophy quickly made his way out of the line of swings. "You might not want to be doin' that, lads. See, that whiskey did a lot more than help me trace you... We're connected, magickally. If you hurt me, you're going to feel it. Maybe not so much you, 'Aragorn' or whatever your name is, but Gilvan here is sure to have the hurt put on him as long as all that drink is still in his system. So, the both of you, choose your next moves wisely." He wouldn't attack until he knew his opponents understood. He hoped to get away with at least a few items, and his life, while they waited out the effects. If they got smart, he had more tricks up his sleeve.

Eragon was worried about the response Brophy had made, but an idea popped into his head. Eragon only hoped Gilvan would see. Eragon used the bolt of lightning in his hand and started lighting it up and dimming it. It was supposed to be Morse Code for Gilvan. The message was, "Gilvan, only distract him if he attacks. I might have a way to bind him. Also, if you are connected, then the connection works the opposite way to."
He walked down the hallway toward the source of energy emitted deep in the castle. Instead of going through the door, he turned toward the wall and held up his hand. A small black orb appeared and hit the wall. Instantly the wall was was sucked into the orb into the next dimension. He knelled on the floor, winded from the energy loss. He did indeed have dimensional powers, but he was severely limited by his amount of power. He stood up and faced the other wall and put his palm on it. After a few seconds he released his energy and a pitch black beam shot out and destroyed the wall. It appeared he had power over darkness as Shadow did, but his was limited. There was only one thing left to try. He sat on gown in a nearby chair and gathered his energy, waiting..., waiting...

Gilvan translated the code accordingly. He figured that was what the light show was about, and even if it simply was a show, the message made sense. He kinda gave a soft chuckle, as the distraction bit could easily be done by Eragon himself, if he kept it up. Gilvan was tough enough to bind Brophy easily, but he still didn't know his opponent yet. He decided he would act according to the message. "Aye, Brophy... connected we are. That trap sure was tasty anyway, but I must say... what a cleva bastad ye are." Gilvan then positioned his gun... or cannon, depending on how you viewed it, but to Gilvan, it was 'Nessa'. He clicked off the safety and readied it with his left arm. his right one he would use as a quick defence, if it wasn't on the trigger. He aimed in Brophy's direction, and awaited to see Brophy's response.

"Complicating things? Let me simplify it. If I die, you'll feel all the pain. All I want from you... is your stuffs." He could tell Eragon had sent a message to Gilvan. Brophy wasn't up to par on his Morse Code, he only remembered about half the letters or less. He tried to piece together the message filling in missing letters, but he couldn't remember the full message either. "Gilvan, I may be a lowlife, but I have some honor. I promise you, give me the goods, I'll walk right on out of here."
As he awaited the response, he kept trying to remember the pieces of the message that he could understand, and tried remember the parts he couldn't. What were they planning? "Oh, and by the way, don't try anything funny. Nothing can stop this bond, it's held together by its own force. Neither me, nor he, can break it; Merely, we can wait out its course. If you do, I'll attack your buddy over here. Also, decide quickly, or I'll start attacking him anyway." Brophy knew he couldn't harm Gilvan, but Eragon was in season...

Eragon held out Both his arms. He had lightning energy coursing in his left hand, while his right let out water that formed in his right. He focused the two elemental rod-shaped energies, and then clasped his hands together. As he separated his hands, a hoolahoop type ring expanded. Then the rod energies formed as one. He kept a charge in Lightning rod which would last about 5-8 minutes. The water surrounding it would create a more damaging shock to the one its trapping because of its conductive nature. Eragon stopped expanding the ring at about 1.5 feet in diameter. he was pleased and shrunk it back down in size. He then split the ring into 8 rings. The thickness he applied earlier allowed just enough rings and he slipped 1 on every finger but his thumbs. Eragon punched his hands together and electricity flowed out and sparked everywhere. By keeping the rings touching his skin, he could keep them charged until it was time. He stuck out his right hand in the air and extended his thumb and index finger, like a gun and aimed at Brophy. "Well Brophy..., you can't have my stuff, but heres a consolation prize". Eragon brought down his thumb and the ring fired at Brophy, leaving a connected trail of electricity to Eragon. Right when he fired a black void appeared between Brophy and the ring.
As former Gareon sat waiting, he thought about the place to go. He released the energy and his surroundings vanished and reappeared much different, the biggest being an expanding ring flying at him. He stepped backward, producing a dark clone where he stood before, making sure the clone only had limited energy. Even with a simple clone like that, he still fell to a knee from energy loss. As the Ring hit the clone, it wrapped around it and contained it, but because it was a simple clone, the ring cut through the dark energy like butter, which set off a reaction that turned the clone into a small burst of energy, but not enough to hurt its master. The former Garoen stood up and unsheathed his sword. "Good afternoon, I believe you are trespassing in my masters castle. Please, let me relocate you out of the castle and into hell."

"Well, ain't that a crock a shite? And who might you be?" Gilvan immediately redirected 'Nessa' to the new threat. Something about him seemed familliar, yet.... it was very different. Unable to recognize anything, he continued. "In any case, I do believe we were in the midst of somethin, and we'de appreciate it if ya wait your turn to be obliterated." He could tell that this being was not friendly, and therefore must be an enemy. Who was his master?
Shadow King turned as he sensed a new presence. He could tell there were others in the castle, but this one was very different... It had to be him. "I will find you... and you will hear me." The aura was near, very near... and it seemed to be coming from above him.
