Athena pouted cutely. "But I like toying." she said before she smiled. "I could take pictures, baby." She looked down at their son. "A perfect Kodak moment..." She sighed in contentment and pretended to sniff something in the air. "I think I smell shame in the air." She looked back to Wind to get his permission to toy with their son until he would admit that he isn't as good of a fighter as Athena and Wind. "We really should get him a little brother to annoy instead of us." she remarked.

"I am so tired of hearing your yelling," Wind said before kicking his son. "Shut the Hell up already. I was thinking about just leaving you here for a couple of hours, but now I'm gonna beat the s**t out of you." Then he blinked and looked at Athena. "What? You want another one? Wasn't this one bad enough?" he asked. He was truly shocked.
Ares winced as his father's cloven foot made contact with his side. Rolling over on to his side he groaned, but his eyes shot open in as much surprise as his father's when he heard what his mother suggested.

Athena shrugged. "It will give him something to practice on...and maybe it will keep Ares from bugging us." she said. She looked to Wind and Ares. "What's wrong with your faces?" she added, seeing them giving her weird looks. "It was just a suggestion..." She rolled her eyes.

Wind scratched his head. "Well. . . I don't really want another one. I mean, we're just about to get rid of this pain in the a**, aren't we? I was kinda looking forward to some peace and quiet." he said. He had completely forgotten about his threat to beat up Ares as the idea of a second child came into his head.
Looking up at his father Ares could tell he was sidetracked. Hoping his mother wouldn't notice he began to claw at the knots holding him together. Maybe he could free himself while they were discussing children.

Athena sighed. "You're right. We've survived long enough with this one and giving him something to beat up for a few years will just give us 20 more years of whining." She smirked. "I can't believe I suggested that." She suddenly busted out laughing, trying to stay on her feet as she laughed loudly.

Finally Ares was able to free himself. He quickly got to his feet and went to attack his father.
Wind rolled his eyes as Athena began to laugh. He was never going to understand her. Without even flinching he raised his fist just in time to punch his son in the face. "Well, I'm glad you think it's so amusing now. I didn't want to have a fight over the possibility of more children." he casually said as he leaned to kick Ares in the stomach.
Dammit! Ares thought as he stumbled backwards and clutched his nose. He had really hoped his father would be too distracted to notice him. Before he could recover he was sent flying by Wind's kick. He flew right into the tree and slid down to the ground, groaning.
Wind strolled over to him and yanked him up by his coat. "Now listen hear, boy, don't ever get cocky when it comes to a fight. You're a real disappointment, you know?" he said before punching him again. "You may be able to beat an average leek, but your mother and I are superior fighters. We didn't even really try. Neither of us used our tricks and if we were really trying to kill you you'd already be dead. You assumed you knew everything, big mistake," Then he grabbed his arm and twisted it back. "I was going to teach you some more, but since you've pissed me off I don't think I will." Finally he let go and sighed. "I think I'm going to get something to eat." he said before stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking off.
(Dang, I thought Wind would be a bit better at the whole "fathering" thing than this. o^o)

Athena smirked as Wind finished the fight. "And we couldn't trust you with that much skill...You might try to fight us again." she said as she stopped laughing. She sighed a bit, letting out the air from the laughing in one big huff. She smiled and looked to Wind again. "I'll cheer you up, baby." She wanted to torture Ares a little bit more before his 'lesson' would be over.

(Well, since Wind had such bad parents I thought he would try to be better. . . I guess I was wrong. xd )
Ares cringed and held his arm that had been twisted. He spat out so blood and glared at his father. Now the shame from losing had left and he was simply angry. Angry at himself and especially angry at Wind. He never was good enough for his father. All he wanted was for his father to see him as an equal fighter. Now he could see that wasn't going to happen. Not today, at least. He had blown it.
He wanted his mother to recognize him, too. He was so tired of her laughing at him and giving that knowing smirk every time he failed. Still, right now, it was his father his attention was on. It was his father who chose to humiliate him. It was his father who said he was a disappointment. It was his father who had turned his back on him.
Wind looked over his shoulder at Athena. "Cheer me up? All I need to cheer me up right now is a nice plate of food," he said. Then he glanced back at Ares. "He can find his own. Let's just go and get lunch."

Athena laughed at Wind. "I'll try." she said. "But I can't make any promises. The only thing I can promise is a little wrestle of our own~" She winked at him before she sat down and picked up a rock to sharpen her tail. It was starting to bug her, looking down and seeing a dull point instead of a sparkling stinger. She was proud of it, and she didn't trust Ares to do a good job with making it pretty again.

Wind rolled his eyes. "I thought you were gonna make Ares do that? You know what? Never mind. I'm going to get lunch whether you come or not." he said before walking off.
Ares watched as his father left, then his attention turned to his mother. "I guess you're disappointed in me too." he said.

Athena smiled. "Only a little bit." she said casually. She laughed at Wind's lack of sexual needs at the moment, but suggesting another baby can put anyone out of the mood. She went back to sharpening her tail, slightly bored now that Wind was gone.

"Yeah, yeah, you and your tail. I've heard it before, Mom." he said before standing up. He winced slightly and then began to trudge back home, after his father. I'll show them both, one day. Today was too soon, but I will show them. he thought as he went.

Athena smirked and watched as her son walked away from her. She knew that the wheels were turning inside his head. "I know what you're thinking~" she said in a singsong voice, laughing as she did so. She continued to sharpen her tail.
