Well, seeing as how I'm new and I've lost my muse for my LotR RP, I was wondering if perhaps I'd be able to throw in my own idea for an RP. Estelyn knows a very small portion about it, but seeing as how my inspiration has stopped RPing LotR, then I thought perhaps some of the people in this guild might help me out. I'll wait with the description seeing as how it's very long and very descriptive at its current point. I'm also considering just restarting the whole thing and starting from scratch. I'll have to think about it, if it gets through this elimination process first. XD

I've decided to run the new, hopefully-improved Tolkien Tavern. 3nodding The establishment will be similar to the old one, of course, but I'm posting a preview here for newbies. ^^
Who: Estelyn and "workers" (bartenders, musicians, waiters)
What: Light, RPed chatter with rounds of ale and vittles for all
Plans: Hired workers, potlucks, menu, contests
Rules: TOS adherence (duh), RP conduct, no random fighting xd
I'll be setting up soon.

Well, I'm still working on that summary, it's just I'm finding it hard to get the motivation to do it. If somebody would just like... PM me constantly berating me to do it, then I'd probably start, but it's horrible how much I've lost my touch with RP now-a-days. sweatdrop

Guardian-X Well ive been doing alot of thinking and a Rp that i would like to participate in would be a like a conituation of LoTR... say in Return of the King the war didnt end and Sauron was still alive... say that The Ring dissapeared and that Frodo and Sam Dissapeared all together... there for causing the War of Sauron over Middle Earth to continue... With Elves, Humans, Dwarvs, Orcs, Hobbits, and other creatures it would be the Never Ending War... i dont know much about what else should be there but something is missing... anyway that would be something i would participate in and hopefully if somwthing like that were to begin hoping to be forgiven and would allow a selfish guy like my self back in sweatdrop lol well thats what i think anyways so what are we going to do about the RP??

Guardian~I think your idea is fine, but the RP is not a top priority right now. Not many guild members are even active, so it would just die again. If you are really focused on it, go ahead and organize a thread. The crew will see it and possibly okay it--before people post.

Listen up, would-be RPers! Kate_bug has volunteered to help with the process, and she already has an off-guild thread set up. Click here for more information. Eventually we may be bringing the RP into our Tolkien Guild.
We're going back in time, folks, so be aware that it'd be in your best interest to have some knowledge of The Silmarillion before joining. Also, we will make every effort to involve all races. Men have already awakened, so there should not be any problem with that.
This is Kate_bug's idea, and she is by all means welcome to run it by herself--but guild administration will have their eye on the thread for obvious reasons. We may make some changes to the original plot to include everyone's wishes.
Please feel free to post your opinions on this latest development!

Well, I have a slight plot you could use. This is right at the end of the First Age, right? Well, you could say that the Eldar are hunting down some of Morgoth's scattered forces still that are retreating to the far North. Or you could go the opposite direction and take the Dark Forces side (which I shall be doing. Oohh... so many ideas going through my head now) and show how they are surviving in the wild, frozen North.
