Milotic came down into the water, and a silver mist came from it, the Bad Dreams having done its job. Arannis fell down on his left knee. The spheres rotated around him horizontally now, slower, coming to a stop and one forming into a ray, a Rapidash forming and going fast into a Fire Blast.

Darkrai rushed head on, using Omnious Wind once again.
"I told you, I won't lose!" he yelled, as the Wind was unleashed towards Rapidash.

Arannis picked himself up, looking out to see each attack land a devastating hit as he fell down, now onto his right knee. Again he picked himself up slowly, Rapidash's mist coming back to him. A sphere rayed out, forming into his Luxray. He paused.
"If you defeat this one, I will concede. Surely by now you've realized how much I am already going through by this."

Seichi finally noticed the pain that the opponent was going through..
"Tch.. I don't know what's happening, but I can't back down. Not when I've come this far.."
Darkrai looked to it's trainer, and nodded..
"Sorry to do this, but, Darkrai..Roar of Time!"
Darkrai fired out a large distortion blast towards the Luxray.

The wave landed true, Luxray being blown into mist immediately and Arannis not only putting his left arm to his right shoulder but seeming to blink in and out of existence altogether as the last sphere rayed out into his Lucario, who immediately caught Arannis and held him up.
"There is no avoiding it. You've won, and now you've restored hope to the trainers all across the nation. I've waited twenty years for this to finally happen... there is something you need to know, but first, might I ask your name?"

Seichi recalled Darkrai to the pokeball, somewhat confused..
"I-it's Seichi.."
He now looked totally confused at the blinking shoulder.

Arannis stabilized, and with a slight wave of his hand, Lucario stood at his side and they both approached the center of the field.
"I am known by so many as Wonder, but my name is Arannis. Had it not been for that Roar of Time, my inward identity could have been spared, but in essence, I am a cross between a Celebi and humanity, able to cross time at will. These pokemon I have with me... I understand them completely, something I have seen humanity try to accomplish for generations. The bonds you share with yours are far surpassing any I've seen outside of my own. I commend you, Seichi. I regret to have to say this, but your title of League Champion may have to be on hold, as events in the region have taken a turn for the worse. Galactic is into action again, and with methods and means that were so far unheard of."

Seichi really didn't know how to respond to what had been said. He had come across Team Galactic in his journey, but hadn't seen them for quite some time.
"Yeah.. Roar of Time.. Distorts the very fabric of time. But, what's this about you and Team Galactic? How do you exactly know of their plans, and how are you part human and Pokemon?" he said, the questions just kept coming from the confused Trainer.

Arannis looked sadly to his Lucario for a moment, then smiled faintly, facing Seichi and lowering his head, taking off his shades and handing them to his opponent.
"I have to ask you to hold on to these. Lucario tells me that this is not over until either he goes down or you do. For my own sake, I hope you win, and if you do, stay with me a while. I will explain it all afterwards."
He looked back up to Seichi, his eyes teal without any center, no whites, no pupils. Just a bright teal.

Seichi placed the glasses on the brim of his fedora, as he nodded.
"Rei! Come on out!" he said, throwing a pokeball into the arena, releasing a Lucario of his own. This Lucario was a different color than the Lucario of Arannis', as it had Gold and Blue fur, than the Blue and Black fur.

Arannis teleported back to his position in the stadium, holding a hand out, using Light Screen and Reflect on himself only in rapid succession.
"Do not hold back. This is going to be a more difficult test than you realize."
His own Lucario jumped up high, firing an Aura Ball down at Seichi's, which exploded on impact.

Seichi gritted his teeth, as the Lucario of his own had fallen so swiftly. Throwing another Pokeball into the arena, he unleased Umbreon.
"I'm not holding back...Umbreon! Use Double Attack, then counter with Hyper Beam!"

Lucario dodged elegantly past the Double Attack, coming to face just as the Hyper beam caught him head-on. Arannis held an unclenched fist up to his chest, smiling.
Lucario came in fast and hard, then jumped away, tossing in a Shadow Ball at the Umbreon, taking full advantage of the recharge to add in another Aura Ball.

(Do keep in mind you've still got that Garchomp and Espeon, as well as a battered Darkrai)
Again, the Aura Ball exploded, though only nearby this time.
"I am impressed. You untimed the blast. By now you must have realized that this particular Lucario is far excelled above the average potential."
