" WHAT?!" Jaken suddenly squawked in suprise as Lord Sesshomaru just aloud the human to join them. Wasn't bad enough they were already carrying for the small human wench?! " My Lord, forgive me speaking out of turn but uh, should we really allow her to join us I mean, what if she's a spy for Inuyasha sent to kill you?" Jaken said trembling to Lord Sesshomaru. Hearing this made Saria laugh which gained the two demons attentions. " Ok, first of all if I was sent to sneak in and kill him I would be an Assasin not a spy, secondly, I wouldn't have came running to help Rin if that was the case and finally and the most important point of all he's a demon lord...I am a regular human....and even though I'm very fit and strong for a human, I am well aware that he could probably rip my head off with the ease as if he were plucking a fruit from a branch." Saria told him then leaned down to Jaken's height, " Don't tell me you are underestimating your lords strength?" she said with a smirk making Jaken freak out, " NO NO NO! Th-th-that wasn't what I was insinuating at all! Don't believe her my lord, she's trying to trick us!" Jaken said shaking like a leaf as he repeatedly bowed to Lord Sesshomaru.

Saria shrugged, " Hard to know, depends on how fast you can learn to deal with PMS symptoms and what there is to know about raising a female starting puberty." Saria responded to him as she helped Rin up out of the hot spring all clean and dried her off before starting to help the little girl redress.

Sessomaru put his face in his palm.
"I'm going to regret this... Jaken, be sure to keep an eye on the newest, then. Can't have your suspicions being proven true, now, can we?"

" Well then Jaken, I guess you'll be escorting me back to Inuyasha's camp to grab my things then. That way you won't be letting me out of your sight." Saria said. She turned to Rin and told her to go stay with Lord Sesshomaru with the little girl happily did, running to him and sticking by his side. " Well, lets go so we can get back." Saria told Jaken who was completely miffed at having to make the 'human wench' to Inuyasha's and back. They returned a little while later and Saria dumped her two bags on the ground at the base of a tree a few feet away from Sesshomaru and sat down. Rin immediately hopped up from where she'd been sitting in Lord Sesshomaru's lap and went over to Saria. " I forgot to ask you name pretty lady." Rin said cutely with her little smile. Saria smiled in return. " My name is Saria Zyphr. What's your's?" she asked the child with a warm smile that made the roaring fire seem like an ember in comparison.

"You know, for that set of clothes you wear, you certainly don't match the style with your attitude."

Saria smiled as Rin told her her name. She then looked over at Sesshomaru as he spoked to her then shrugged as he finished. " Eh, in my world it helps cause everyone judges everyone else by their looks alone. So if I look like I'm gonna beat them for looking at me wrong, they'll leave me alone and not mess with me. If I wore clothes similar to my personality I'd probably have idiotic whimps jumping me for money every few seconds. After all, my personality certainly doesn't match my strength." She said logically as she pulled one of her bags to her and began to riffle through it. Ignoring Jaken as he demanded to know what there was in her back, she pulled out a smalled square wrapped in some thin red paper and closed her bag. Ripping the paper part way off, Sesshomaru's sensitive nose was hit with the sweetest scent he'd ever smelled. Saria broke off a small piece and then broke that in half. She popped one piece of the strange brown substance in her mouth then handed the other half to Rin. " Here, try this its sweet." Saria said. Trustingly, Rin smiled and took the offering. Then she broke her own piece in half and Rin began to walk over to Sesshomaru with it. " Woah, wait a minute!" Saria said, grabbing the little girl around the waist and pulling her back, " Rin, Lord Sesshomaru can't eat that, it might hurt him." Saria told her. Rin's eyes went wide and she looked at the stuff in her little hands then back at Saria. " But you ate it..." Rin said confused making Saria giggle slightly, " Yes Rin because this is chocolate and chocolate is ok for humans to eat as a sweet but for normal dogs its a poison and since Lord Sesshomaru is a dog demon, I'm not too sure how it will affect him." Saria explained to her.

Sessomaru put his head back, knocking it lightly against the tree he was leaning against.
"So that's what it is. Go figure..." He mused.

" So...can I eat it?" Rin asked Saria confused. Saria let out a laugh that sounded like the ringing of chimes accompanying a beautiful violin. " Yes Rin, you are human so you can eat it, that's why I gave it to you." She told the young child who then happily popped the sweet in her mouth. Her eyes going wide Rin turned to Saria with a bright expression and exclaimed, " It's delicious! It's so soft and sweet!" she cried happily, making Saria laugh at the little girls reaction once more.

"Well, you've certainly won her over. Looks like she won't be *letting* you leave us as soon as I'd hoped..."

Saria shrugged. " Can't help it, its the mother in me. Plus women get along much better then men of any species do." Saria said with a smile. " So, Sesshomaru-" Saria started to say but was interupted by Jaken squawking, " That's Lord Sesshomaru to you wench!" making he roll her eyes before continuing with her question, " ...at what light do we move on tomorrow? Dawn, mid-morn or mid-day?" Saria asked him.

"Leave her be, Jaken. An outgoing newcomer always did bring up some interest."
He turned to Saria. "And as for your question, usually we're on our way at the crossover between dawn and mid-morning."

Jaken stared at Sesshomaru with his mouth agape. Was he really going to let this lowly human girl call him without title?! As Saria listened to his explanation, she nodded. " Well then, we'd better eat now then so we can get some rest." Saria said. She pulled her pack to her again and ruffled through it, pulling out a few packs of instant noodles. She then looked at Sesshomaru, " Do you even eat Sesshomaru? I'm kinda a little unawares of demon habits." she asked him.

"On occasion, when I feel like it, for the most part. It really doesn't matter too much."
(The funny thing is I never did find that out, myself)

((lets just say unlike humans who have to eat at least once a day to survive, demons can go for once every 2 weeks before they start losing strength, that sound about right?)) " Then do you want some noodle?" She asked, shaking the package in her hand slightly as she asked.
