Kade had stayed in the back, letting Fleurette go out to keep Andy company and handle the store a bit. Well, he needed to go through his magazines and figure out what to do with the girl! There was so much to get done and he wasn't even sure where to begin! Did she lotion? Use the right face wash? Did she even use a face wash or was she.. was she one of those dreadful 'bar of soap' types?! He wasn't sure, but he was afraid to find out, so he just assumed that she didn't wash her face. Though, if that was the case, she had pretty skin! Lucky girl! He went through the merchandise for something.. apricot was always the safest to go, but he wondered if there was..? Something unique! To get the girl started on her own image! He frowned as there wasn't many kinds of face scrubs, though.. oh, well, he could – He stopped. Turned. Did Yoakim just – HE WAS INSIDE THE SALON?! His eyes lit up and the blaring alarm of 'Yoakim came to visit!! Oh, my god, so cool, perfect, wonderful, once in a lifetime!!' ranged through his head as he rushed towards the door to get to the styling area, but it was when his hand was on the knob, it started to turn, that he froze.
Something else had hit him. ..Yoakim.. didn't sound very happy.. and he had used Kade's full name.. Plus, there was a curse in there and he rarely ever cursed! ..But, what had Kade done to.. A little squeal from the pile of stuffed animals answered him. Oh.. Rune. Rune, Ellie, Yoakim – ah.. He swallowed and slowly let go of the doorknob, backing up to pick up the toddler and use her as a shield! They wouldn't be angry if Rune was so happy, right!? Just look at how smiley she was! Holding his third favorite, beige teddy bear with the violet ribbon! She would be enough to calm down any angry man! Right? ...Oh, he really hoped so, because.. he wasn't used to Yoakim being mad at him.. He opened the door a crack and peeked out to look at the pair. “..Yeeeessss?” He called out quietly, looking comparable to a child caught in the cookie jar.

❤ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ Andy Valentine ]▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ❤ "Are you t-two gay l-lovers?" Andy asked suddenly, seeing Yoakim and Kade. She then whispered quietly to the drunk pink haired man. "I t-think they're g-gay lovers." This was probably an awkward time to be here. But then again Holly loved gossip. So she had to stay to have something to talk about with Holly during breakfast. It was the only meal they both ate together! All the other ones involved Mandy... besides supper with her dad. Which makes her wonder; when does her mom eat?

____________________________________________________________ - Eleanor Vatonage- ____________________________________________________________ There was one thing Kade was wrong about. All right maybe more than one, but Ellie was sure of a few. One, even if Rune was as happy as a clam she'd have his head. Two, that white hair had better not be touched. And finally, he was in so much trouble it wasn't funny. "Goddammit Kade, give me my daughter NOW." If a cursing pissed Yoakim was rare, a now raging Ellie was even rarer. Once that hairdresser had peaked his head out, nervousness and worry flew out the window to be replaced with anger. The three steps she took towards him would be more than evidence, and the look on that porcelain face should make that even clearer. Like Yoakim, she wasn't focused on anyone else in the salon.

Of course, Yoakim had totally ignored Andy's question. In fact, he didn't even noticed that she was talking to him. Nor had he even really noticed that she was in the salon. All he knew was that someone was there. He didn't care to know if it was a guy, a girl, someone he knew or the Queen Of England for that mater. "There you are you, moron!" Yeah, he had just called his boyfriend a moron. Was there any other word to describe him right now? "Ah non, mais! Ca va pas la tête? So now, it wasn't only pissed off swearing Yoakim. It was pissed off swearing Yoakim in French. He rarely used that language other than when he was with some member of his family, or trying to talk with Gladice while making sure that no one around would understand them. However, sometimes when he was having an outburst of emotion, he would start speaking in it without even noticing doing it. "Where's Rune? You better not have done anything to her..... Seriously! What went through you head! You... You... GET OUT AND GO GET HER!"

..Alright, so, there was, like, a lot of people out there. Fleurette with Andy, that.. one guy who looked like he was totally rude and Kade probably shouldn't hang out with him aside from the, you know, customer and client bond kind of thing, but he really shouldn't be judgmental and this whole thought process was just a way for him to deny that he was in deep. Really, really, deep. Yoakim. Was already speaking in French. He never spoke in French! Well, he did sometimes.. once. But, it wasn't towards him, so this was something Kade didn't understand how to handle! Did he.. did he ignore that Yoakim was really, really mad..? No, he looked to someone else for sympathy and defense! He shot a pair of puppy-eyes at Ellie who.. also.. looked really, really mad.. Okay, he was screwed. And not in he fun, chocolate, strawberries, and whipped cream way either! He was totally – oh, he was close to even cursing inside his head! He swallowed and crept out from behind the door, Rune tucked close to his chest like a little, snugly, teddy bear.
“Um, hi.. You know, I wouldn't do anything to Rune without permission, I just took a walk with her and that ended in.. going to work.. because.. Andy really, really, really needed a makeover! Like, look at her! It was an emergency! She doesn't even use powder! And I bet she uses the bad kind of sunscreen, plus the horrible lotion.. Plus, plus, um, she.. has.. a bad hairstyle..” Alright, diverting their attention to the urgency of Andy's issues was probably failing. Badly. Next course of action, tears!
He sniffed and held the toddler out, “..I-I'm.. sorry.. I really didn't mean to.. I thought it was, um, alright, because Ellie was busy and probably needed more time with her studies, but she was being so stubborn and wouldn't let me help! So, I had to do what a good friend would do and.. force my help on her a little because she needed it and.. Wasn't the house quieter, Ellie?” He looked at her because staring at Yoakim wasn't really helping his resolve much. Ellie should be the more forgiving of the two.. right? He didn't mind or really notice the camera and new girl bursting onto the scene. He was too focused on not getting punished for this! Because he so didn't deserve it, right?!

____________________________________________________________ - Eleanor Vatonage & Rune Vatonage - ____________________________________________________________ Eleanor simply kept that firm gaze on Kade as he tried to explain himself out of this. Tried, being the keyword here. Failing immensely accompanying it. "No" she snapped at the hairdresser before taking her daughter back into her arms and taking a few, well more than a few, from Kade. Like hell she would-Damn it. Rune was working her charm, calming the mother some... at least until she glanced back at Kade. Yup still pissed. "I specifically told you no! More than once! But what did you do-No actually I don't want to hear it!" basically barked the young woman. Maybe it would depress the hairdresser but now she didn't really care. Rune on the other hand kept babbling as usual... ah it was good she was too young to understand this... almost kidnapping.

Yoakim wasn't even listening to half what was saying Kade. Any excuses he might tried to say was just useless. Nothing could explain what he had done. Yoakim slammed his fist on the wall next to Kade while still staring at the boy. "Shut up! Don't even dare to try to give an excuse for that! It would be better if the hairdresser just shut his mouth and crawled back into a hole to hide himself. At least that was Yoakim and Ellie wouldn't have to deal with him. "That was the most stupid, moronic ******** up s**t you ever done! I'm so...." Whatever Yoakim was going to say, he stoped himself. There was a child right next to them, afterall. "We're leaving.... and you better not even think about sleeping over tonight... or the rest of the week." He put his left hand around Ellie's shoulder and walked out of the Salon, still as pissed as ever. Anger was such an easy emotion to act...

____________________________________________________________ - Eleanor Vatonage & Rune Vatonage - ____________________________________________________________ Even Ellie had to flinch slightly at what Yoakim did, she hadn't seen that one coming. Come to think of it, she had never seen him like this... But she was too mad to make that connection right now. While Rune kept a slight babble, Ellie just shook her head at Kade. Right now she didn't want to know of him, and Yoakim had pretty much summed it all up. Kade didn't think of how she felt when she found that note... Rune was her daughter damn it! There was no way to forgive this right now! So the woman just turned around and walked out of the Salon seconds after Yoakim did. No words could come out of the young mother at the moment... for Kade that was probably better-no worse than her yelling at him.

And there went Ellie.. and Yoakim. Kade stood silent for a little while, simply tugging at the hem of his shirt and staring at the ground, near tears. Oh.. He.. He didn't think.. That he had been bad.. He sniffed – he had only tried to be good! It wasn't his fault if.. if.. Great.. This was just great! He frowned and raised his head to look around the salon, but there wasn't much else he could say or do. No one here really knew what just went on, it was just gossip! Especially for that.. Um, wait, who was that? ..Oh my god! It's Holly Valentine! She saw, the whore! Wait, wait, don't judge, Kade! You don't know her! But, he read about her – Oh, wait! He widened his eyes. ANDY! Fleurette! That one guy who was sounded so crude! Oh, pink hair? Cute! Forgetting all that drama of earlier, he smiled at the long, pink haired guy and went over to shove him towards the hair styling area. Well, bygones be bygones! He had work to throw himself into before he fell into depression! “Hey, sweetie, what are you in for? Sorry about all that, we were, like, um, having a little lover's tiff, you know? They happen! All the time! It just means we love eachother a whole ton, right? Right! Of course!” Cue forced laughter. “So, um, um, let's get started! Fleurette, you can handle Andy for a little while, riiiight~?” He asked with a glance at his fellow stylist.
((>.> Finally moving on here~ ))

What happened? Fleurette had spaced out for a lot of that conversation. She heard a lot of swearing, and didn't want to hear any more so she tuned it out. It didn't really pertain to her though, so maybe it was a private conversation that she wasn't supposed to listen to? Well, it was good she didn't listen then... right? "Of course, Kade!" Her name had snapped her back into the conversation.
She walked over to Andy and pushed her into a chair. "What are we doing for you today?" She asked in her high peppy voice. Kade probably mentioned earlier when he came in with her, but... Fleurette was busy with stuffed animals! SRS BZNZ.

Nadia still hadn't found a job, but there wasn't really a rush since she still had a lot of money left over from her inheritance. Her mind was changing from night to day with every passing minute on what she wanted to do. Her initial plan was to work at the Sugar Salon, but maybe she should find a local tailor in order to get her foot in the door of the fashion world. She couldn't make up her mind! Nadia always had a problem with that. It was her brother that was the decision maker and Nadia who was the brainstormer for ideas. Opening the door to the salon, the young woman at least had her mind made up about how she wanted her hair done. Once inside, Nadia stood by until Kade or Fluerette had a moment to great and take care of her. She had met them briefly at the new pastry shop, but she had a feeling neither would remember her since they had been busy with the tarts.

Did Kade remember Nadia? Well, it was safe to say no, but Kade had learned a long time ago that he never really remembered anyone – not because he was a bad person, mind you! It was simply because he just knew everyone! He was always talking to someone at some point in time, it got to be a little hard to keep up with names and stuff like that.. So, he had started to give everyone he met and knew a nickname. Or groups of people got nicknames.. There were the honeydrops, all the blondes, the cupcakes were shy, the sweethearts were the sweetest of the bunch, and which one did Nadia fall under? The dolls! Nadia was as pretty as one, after all~! Kade was almost jealous, but he didn't have any reason to be when he was still in a happy, healthy relationship with his one true love~! Some may argue against that statement, but the hairdresser would hear nothing of it. Even if it was his own, pestering thoughts that tried to get him to.. 'see the light'.
Anyway, the man, who had been sitting being the front desk, filing his nails as classically as one could get, perked up once he heard the little bells chime in a new customer! He spun in his chair, dropping the file onto the desk as he stood up and marched his way around to the woman. He stopped and looked her up and down – oh, cute! And fashionable~! His favorite type of customer! “Welcome to Sugar Salon, doll! Do you have an appointment or just a walk in? It doesn't matter much, you know, since this is a pretty quiet town.. I doubt you'd have to wait long either way.” He shrugged with a giggle, being as that was the truth. He couldn't count how many times he could ditch work because of the lack of business. Not that he was doing very badly monetary wise, both him and Fleurette made enough to live with a little extra, but.. it still got boring sometimes! When Fleurette was on break and Kade was on duty, for instance, or vice versa.

The salon was so nicely light and the chairs looked so comfortable. A few of the salons she had visited in the city didn't even match this class. Nadia looped one finger around the bottom of her suspenders as Kade stood up from his seat at the desk and greeted her. Doll. Nadia loved it! She had been warned by one of her friends to avoid certain city talk in a small town, so hearing such a cute nick name really brought her home. In the city you met so many people a day, that it was hard to keep acquaintance's straight. "No appointment, darling~ But do you think you could squeeze in a new color and trim?" Nadia asked sweetly as her sneakers went pigeon-toed and she gave Kade a big smile. "I have some designs that include orange fabric," Nadia started as she dug into her pocket to produce a small swatch of materials and held it out for Kade to take a look at. "I was thinking a little darker than this. Having one shade would make the outfit look bland, you know?" the young woman explained as she shared her vision with the hairdresser. She couldn't wait to get started on her newest sketch. Nadia was so anxious that she still was putting off finding a job... She'd have to make a promise to herself about asking Kade if he even had a part-time position.

She called him darling! Kade may have lived here for a few years, but no one had given him a nickname in return! Not even his honeybunny! He was beaming when he heard that and even let out a giggle – which wasn't anything out of the normal since Kade giggled way more than a sane person should. Still, as of late? A giggle was a very good sign. This felt like dealing with someone in the city again – he missed that feeling! Even if he had only worked there for maybe a month or two before transferring out here, he still grew up there and everything. Comforting in it's own way. He leaned in to get a closer look at the swatches she showed him, happy as ever to share into another artist's project. He would have been happy to do the same with Ellie, but the girl rarely let him see what she was drawing! Ah, just another nice thing about this new girl~! “Oh, orange is so.. bold! Fierce! Do you design clothes? I'd recommend a nice, deep blue to go with that one – they would just bring each other out, you know? Or, you know what? Since it's fall and all, green could work out nicely too! Or even a purple~! But, please, no more oranges and yellows combos on us, okay? Those are so.. eck. I don't even know where to start!” He threw his hands up in defeat and rolled his eyes – he just hated looking at those two colors together! Didn't anyone see how horrible it looked?! Maybe it was just Kade, but all he ever saw was a big, blaring traffic cone when some girl wore those two.
He nudged his shoulder over towards the chairs, being as they were the only two in that day. Fleurette sometimes came in for a visit on her days off, but he wasn't expecting her and most of his friends were too polite to interrupt him on his work days. “What color are we thinking on? ..Or, was that the color? The orange?” He questioned while strolling off to a door near the back, raising his voice as he got farther. He leaned into it for a moment, searching blindly for – aha! His book! A nice, big chart full of all the different colors their salon offered, which were a surprising amount! But, Sugar Salon prided itself in being the best~! One of the best, at least. Kade wouldn't have gotten his blue without them, after all. He turned on his heel and headed back to stand in the middle of the floor, unsure of which chair the girl wanted. He would head over to it once she sat down, but, for now, he waited patiently, bouncing on his heels idly while he watched her.
