Raine smirked and then said, "Becuase it's my job. That's the type of things that I do. Do I like killing for no reason? Not really, but it's how I survive. One more question and then I have to go. Choose wisely." Raine was calm. She tapped her claw weapon on her arm since she had them crossed. As long as she didn't apply a lot of pressure it wouldn't cut her.

Raine laughed before uncrossing her arms and letting them fall to her sides. "You want to join me? You just met me! Although... hmmm... You do seem like someone who'd be a good ally for someone like me. Although, first, you must know two things. First; Being around me is dangerous because I plan on going up against a large group of killers. Joining me might turn out to be dangerous, even if you're only with me for a little bit. Second; Appearances cane be fooling." Raine said calmly.

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, it surely

On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune, but
I hear the voices say ~Rin the cat mercenary~ Always follow you own way in this twisted world~~~  Rin made it to the entrance of the city before stumbling. She fell to one knee and slammed her fist into the ground. Her body was numbing and the world was spinning. Her muscles were tightening and it had become hard to move. Rin bit her lip slightly and then pulled herself to her feet. She walked slowly and with a limp to a house near where she was. She opened the door and walked in on a small family. Rin looked at them, giving them her fiercest glare she could manage. "Is there a doctor near here?" Rin growled menacingly. The man of the house stepped up and said, "I'm a doctor. If you want treatment, you'll have to pay for it." Rin growled under her breath and then pulled a small bag of money out of her pocket and tossed it at the man. "That should be enough. Don't treat the sword wound first. There was poison in the weapon that cut my check, treat it first." Rin said through clenched teeth.  ~~~Or you'll be lost in this sea of confusion ***Take for a Job***

Izakiel entered through the west side of the town, he walked among the village and made it to a maze of alleyways. He shrugged his shoulders and managed to make it quite far without guards interfering, he spotted a woman and a man in the distance, a brotherhood member maybe?
He put his thoughts aside and moved closer.
"And who may you be?"
Izakiel asked with a quiet and bold tone.

Raine heard someone coming and turned around. She got into a fighting position instantly and looked at Izakiel with narrowed eyes. "I'm sorry, I thought that people normally introduced themselves before walking up to a stranger and demanding for their name." Raine said in a calm, but cold voice. Her body was wound up like a spring and she was just waiting for the moment that she'd need to launch herself at Izakiel and attack with all of her power.

Izakiel shrugged and kept his weapons sheathed, his hidden blade was his surprise weapon, but under the circumstances he was not ready for a fight.
"How rude of me, ma'am. My name is Izakiel."
He said with a laugh tickling his lips, he didn't let it out but he wished he had.
He crouched lower and prepared to fight, he wouldn't make the first move. But he would defend himself if threatened.

Raine watched Izakiel for a moment and then relaxed. She noticed that he had taken a defensive position and figured that he wouldn't attack her if she didn't attack him. Plus, her weapons were always ready at a moment's notice. Raine laughed lightly at Izakiel and then said, "I am Raine."

Izakiel stood back up and relaxed, perhaps he was getting too worked up over a small cause.
"Raine right? Well this is an odd way to meet someone..."
Then he noticed the brotherhood's black hand on a tattoo. His heart raced and he tried to hide it, the brotherhood killed his family, and perhaps he was next.
He flexed his wrist and kept eye contact.
"Are you... A brotherhood member?"
He asked with a somewhat different tone.

Raine watched Izakiel's eyes and noticed the expression change. She crossed her arms calmly and waited for him to say something else. "Brotherhood member? Hmm...... It depends. Are you scared of the brotherhood?" Raine said calmly. An amused expression crossed her face as she smiled lightly.

Izakiel didn't stutter; honor was his way of spirit.
"No, my family was murdered by brotherhood members while I was away. I've been forced to fight and kill to survive."
He lowered his arms and sighed. He wanted to rest, but if she fought him he wouldn't be able to. His strength was lessened due to minimal sleep.

Raine laughed at Izakiel and then said, "Apparently we're more alike then I had thought. Yes, I'm a Brotherhood member. Actually I'm a speaker. And, my family was also killed by the brotherhood." Raine was relaxed and saw no need to fight. In fact, she saw this as a good opportunity.

Izakiel took a step back and looked at her in awe.
"A Speaker who's family was killed by your own kind? What a conspiracy the brotherhood is."
He slipped his hand in one of the many pockets he had and pulled out a locket.
"This was my mother's, she gave it to me before the brotherhood came. Now it's all I have left of her."
He sighed and looked at Raine, she seemed betterthan the last brotherhood members he ran into, the simpleton, the leader and her pet... Was how he saw it.

Raine laughed and then said, "Surprised? Actually it wasn't just my family. It was everyone I knew and cared about. All of them dead and I was the only one they happened to miss. Well, that's not completely true. They did kill all of the family I had, left. I killed my brother out of lust and then they came, offering for me to join them. I refused and so they killed. Although, they hadn't seen my face so they didn't know what I looked like. Getting entrance to join them was easy. Now, I have a question for you. How would you like to get revenge for your family?"
