He frowned, staring into his own eyes, ''I will always be there for them. No matter what. Even if they may not want me, I'll always be their friend. I'll always be connected with them, in some way. Because we have a bond. And I may not know yet, how to protect everyone, and how to save the ones I love, but I will. I will never give up, until everyone is happy. That's all I want out of life. That's all I've ever wanted,'' He said, and his knee pummeled into the others chest, pushing him away. He stood up, and smiled, looking upwards, ''And I'm finally happy. I finally have what I've always wanted. I make someone happy. So I will never let that go.''

Dark Naruto put his hands up in defeat, "You win. Fine." he smirked, "That cheerfulness always annoyed the crap out of me." he pointed his thumb behind him, "Down the hall. You're going to have to talk to Odin."
He disappeared, and with him the darkness, leaving a moss covered hallway leading into a circular room with an empty throne.
((PM me about Odin's looks and personality, so I get the next part right!!))

Although he was gone, Naruto had a feeling he was still there, watching, ''I'm not going without you. You are a part of me, afterall,'' He said, though he didn't stop, or anything. He simply walked down, on his ways to Odin.

On the throne a figure in white gold armor, seemingly of foreign make sat with his helm on his lap, his light brown hair gently waving in front of his face, almost obscuring his blue eyes as he looked up at Naruto.
"So you're the last Uzumaki," he said, seemingly almost to himself, and gently smiled, "And I bet you want to know what's going on."

He nodded, with a serious expression on his face. This whole trip was filled with the most confusing things.. but most of all, he constantly questioned those two names. Kushina and Minato. They kept being said near the words parents, and Naruto couldn't help but wonder. He didn't know who Kushina was, but if the fourth Hokage was his dad, then..

"About sixteen years ago, our village was destroyed." Odin said, "Not long before the ones who brought the fires came, we were able to get one child out, to a relative in Konoha... she didn't know that Uzushio was to be destroyed... she was sent for another reason." he sighed wearily, feeling the weight of time on the throne he sat in, "That child was Kushina Uzumaki."
He looked at Naruto, "She was destined to become your mother."

He frowned. Although it was good to hear about his mother, he had nothing for it. She was dead, and he could never have her. ''Why was she the only one to come to Konoha? Why didn't anyone else come?'' He asked, slightly wishing he wasn't the only one left of his family. If only there was someone to talk to about all of this.. someone of his blood, who he could relate to..

Odin sighed, he hated this part, "There wasn't time... she was sent to apprentice herself and learn something outside of our clan through a treaty made with Konoha." he closed his eyes.
"Uzushio was attacked the same night the Kyuubi attacked Konoha..." he shook his head, "That woman came and burned us, her brother cut others down and used the storms to keep us trapped... I fought but..." tears fell from his eyes, "I couldn't save anyone... Megumi is only alive because of a jutsu she used, sealing herself to this temple."
He looked up at Naruto, "I tried... and I failed. Nothing was protected. And yet I still have a favor to ask of the last Uzumaki."
His blue eyes closed and he got up from the throne and knelt down in front of Naruto, "Take me from this temple. Let Megumi rest in peace finally, and give me another chance to atone for that failure."

Naruto frowned, ''I see,'' He said, regarding the attack on his village, and everything else. ''You did your best, though. And if you give it your all, then that's what matters. Even if you fail,'' He said, and leaned down, holding out his hand, with a big smile on his face, ''You can come with me, but you can't do this to make up for something in the past, you couldn't prevent. You're coming with me because you want to change the present, and prevent things like that from happening again. Okay?'' He asked, in a kind voice.

Odin looked up and smiled, and then a flash of gold appeared on his arm, forming into a golden bracelet.
"Then, shall we leave?" Odin asked as both he and Naruto appeared in the room where Shane and Megumi were waiting.
Megumi smiled at Odin, "This is goodbye then," she said sadly, then shook her head, "You better take care of yourself, dattebako!"
Odin wrapped his arms around her, "I will," he whispered as she started to fade, "Watch over me from the moon."
She disappeared, and he turned to Shane and Naruto, "We better leave... the temple won't last much longer without her." he said sheepishly, as he raised his hand and the whirlpool came down and carried them to the surface.

Naruto smiled, and kissed Shane on the cheek, before turning to Odin, ''You're coming with us,'' He said, and pulled on Odin's ear. Shane smiled at both, and Odin made an odd expression, before disappearing into the bracelet, that Naruto caught before it fell to the ground. He put it around his wrist, and both he and Shane walked back on to the boat. But not without speaking to eachother. Shane came to this place for a reason, and that was to seal this. To protect them from drifting apart. He kneeled down, and smiled, before reaching into his pocket, and taking out a small case. He opened the case, and a little ring, painted to look like that of a string of ramen, with a large diamond sticking out, holding a small little pink and white swirly ball, in the center. A Naruto. ''Will you marry me?'' He asked, and Naruto giggled looking at the cute ramen.. ring.. thing. If there was one way to assure a ''yes,'' then Shane had found it. ''You don't even have to ask me that. You know my answer,'' He said, with a smile, and grabbed the ring, before jumping on the man, and hugging him.
The shipdriver smiled at the two men, and sailed back to Danshoku.
