Over the lyrics to the song he was now listening to, 'Monster' having endedcame the sound of the phone ringing. He put down the strawberry he had been examining and went to the machine. He was almost done sorting the unsellable strawberries into the ones he could eat and the ones that could be used as fertilizer. He looked at the phone's caller ID and found that he didn't recognize it. Is it a new customer?
He picked up the phone and answered it. "Hello? This is Kitsune Chikyuu speaking. What is your business?" he said. He blinked a few times. It was a new customer and they wanted strawberries delivered in an hour to their building. He scribbled down the address he was given quicky. He thanked the man on the other end and wished him well before he hung up. Then he rushed out of the house after turning the music off. He loaded a boxful of his freshest strawberries onto the back of his truck before he got in the truck and started driving to the address.

((sorry I took so long in posting...couldn't think of how to continue for a while there...so I took a little break from rp's so i could post for them))
Hinote got through the important meeting about how best to meet the requirements for the changing season and what-not other issue that needed his attention. It turned out to be a not-so-serious issue, but one that he need be present for and aware of. He was able to suggest an appropriate plan for all necessary issues.
The meeting and his paperwork were taken care of by the time lunch came along. There would be another business-related meeting after lunch, in which his friend and assistant would be supplying him and the business guests with some kind of snack.. He was suspicious of why the man had been so set on planning the snacks and refreshments for that meeting, but knew that he wouldn't do anything to harm the image of the Shippuu Royale Hotel.
((either it can be fresh strawberries, or the delivery is made in time that tarts and the like can be made from them..up to you..not sure if the two will run into each other in either case...unless this friend of his makes sure they do see each other))

((Tis alright. A break from posting might help me as well.))
Kitsune arrived at the building a half hour before the business meeting he had to attend. His eyes widened in alarm when he smelled the scent of nogisune coming from the building. He wrinkled his nose as the suprise passed. The place was drenched in the scent. Immediatly after that had been confirmed in his mind his guard reenforced itself. He got out of the truck and unloaded the strawberries.
He was till dressed in his farmer's clothes and was still dirty, but he held himself with an air of pride that made others ignore that fact. They probably would have ignored it any way given who he was. Every nogisune was looking at him either discreetly or openly. He walked past them and went to the kitchen. The chef greeted him when he walked in.
"Good afternoon sir. Here are the strawberries you requested. Where would you like them?" he asked politely in a soft voice. Inside he was seething. The man before him was a full blooded fox. Once the box was taken from him with the chef's grattitude they extanged a few more words before Kitsune took his leave.
Kitsune went to the elevator next, happy that it arrived quickly and empty. He got in and pressed the botton for the top floor. The doors closed with a soft hiss. Then he was on his way.
A boy with dark brown hair greeted him when he got out of the elevator. He nodded to him then followed him to the meeting room. Since it wasn't quite time for the meeting the dark haired boy offered to show him around a bit before the meeting started. They went to the cafiteria to get some lunch before Kitsune's tour began. Farm boy or no he was smart and unconfortable in this place. While he listened as his guided talked, occasionally making comments himself he memorized each hall they went down and each exit they passed. He had to bite back a growl at one point since he had picked up a familiar scent. That red headed boy was here. He took a bit of his sandwich and crushed the urge to panic and run. He didn't like this senario. He didn't like it at all.
((How about fresh strawberries that can be made into what ever for the business meeting. How's strawberry tarts dribbled with dark chocolate sound?))

Hinote entered the main business meeting shortly before it wold start, not yet having caught scent of the young silver-haired youth from the farm. The cook had apparently finished with the food preparations, for plates were set with strawberry and chocolate tarts on the meeting table. They smelled fresh.
He got his first tingling feeling of forewarning when he noticed the strawberries. Surely his friend hadn't?
Said friend arrived along with the men and women that he was to meet with. Behind him followed a certain familiar male with shining silver hair. Shirosuke had! He'd called the strawberry farm for a delivery.
He glared at the brunette, who merely grinned in reply, though he was honestly a little happy to be able to see the younger male so soon. "Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen, and welcome to the Shippuu Royale Hotel's. I am Hinote Shippuu, and owner of the hotel chain in my fathers place." He made sure to initiate eye-contact with all guests, though his amethyst eyes lingered on Kitsune the longest.
He was curious about how the young man would react to hearing his name. He had not said this to brag to the male on accord to impress him or woo him. He continued speaking to the guests in general. This meeting was to form partnerships with various fruit and berry farmers/producers, as it was the right season for adding fruits to their menu. Also, they used and made their own oils, shampoo's, and soaps that their guests were supplied with using these fruits and berries.
"I look forward to a long and prosperous partnership." He finished with a friendly grin/near-smirk. His eyes once again sought out and landed on Kitsune.
((and perhaps there were other fruits used for samples of future foods offered at the hotel? -presented to the guests at the meeting along with the strawberries...))

Kitsune walked into the meeting room with the rest of the possible clients. He was still eating his sandwich and was getting strange looks from the others. He walked past Shirosuke and sat in a chair by the window. He looked out the window and occasionally took a bite of his sandwich as he waited for the others to take a seat and for the meeting to start.
Finally the meeting started and he turned his blue eyes to the boy from earlier. He wasn't very impressed with the red head's name. He really didn't care that he owned the hotel. So Hinote Shippuu is the name of that arrogent fox. He kept his face blank even though he wanted to curl his lip in disgust and leave. He held himself back though. If he made a deal with this company he could bring in more income and improve the farm.
During the meeting he had finished his sandwich and took a few tarts. He felt a small bit of satisfaction that the other clients were enjoying them as well even though they kept giving disapproving glances at his clothes. He ignored them all. Let them think what they wanted. He was more comfortable like this. Plus the call had been sudden. He hadn't had time to change, not that he would have put on a suit any way. He didn't have one. At least not one that would win him any approval.
When the meeting was over he noticed Hinote staring at him again and gave him a dismissive look before he looked out the window and closed his eyes. Other clients were either leaving or signing contracts and making deals and then leaving. Kitsune sat in thought, carefully making his desision and not showing any sign he was going to get up any time soon.

Rather than take offence at the dismissal of his lovely Kitsune, he was pleased that the other was so fiesty, as it would make the chase all the more thrilling. Plus, the longer his Kitsune resisted, the greater the pleasure once he got what he wanted. And he would get Kitsune. By any means necessary. Except doing something that could endanger the male.
He would catch himself the little fox and wouldn't let go once he did. He'd throw everything else away for his little fox. And as he thought this, he realized that he was completely obsessed with the young male Kitsune. He recognized the longing for the other. He noticed that simply looking at the silver-haired youth drove away the darkness of his thoughts.
Which, for him, was a huge blessing. He knew of the darkness in him that only one person would be able to banish... Kitsune was the light to his darkness... cheesy as that thought was. He hadn't noticed, until an 'open season' had been declared on the silver fox, that he'd always been looking, subconsciously, for the other.
((and i feel like I'm totally changing how he is from how I had originally planned him....))

With out a word or warning Kitsune rose from his seat and walked over to Hinote. He had made his desisoion even though it felt like a bad idea. It would bring good business to him though and he needed the money.
He was in danger of loosing his home. Strawberry farming could only go so far when you were doing all the work. It wasn't very productive.
"I want to make a deal with you. A business partnership if you will," he said.

"Hmm? you do, do you? I'm all ears, boku no Kitsune-kun." He grinned in a way that was genuine and not at all, or not completely any way, sinister. He led the male into his office, which was for meeting with smaller numbers of people (one to two at a time). He motioned for the male to take a seat on the couch/chair in the center of the room which was between the door and the opposite wall in front of which his desk sat facing the door.
"Would you like some tea? I find that business deals and partnerships are best started with a good cup of Japanese green tea." He called his secretary for two cups and a pot of green tea to be brought up to his office. He took a seat at the coffee table and waited for Kitsune to sit across from him. His back was to his desk, while Kitsune's would be to the wall with the door.

If Kitsune had a tail, which he did he just didn't know how to show it, every hair would have been standing on end at the smile he was getting from Hinote. He had barely surpressed a shudder from being called 'boku no Kitsune-kun'. He wasn't the other's and he certainly didn't give the male fox permission to call him Kitsune-kun.
Before he could get a word out he was led into an even smaller room with just the nogisune. He really didn't llike this. He felt trapped if he was truthful. He immediatly started looking for alternate exits, not caring if the other knew what he was doing or not. It was very reluctantly that he took a seat and looked at Hinote again.
Not really, but you've already called for some so it would be rude to refuse. b*****d. "Tea would be wonderful Shippuu-san. Also please call me by my last name. I didn't give you permission to use my first. You foxes sure are rude," he said. He looked out a window and sighed. A bird flew by and his eyes watched it longingly. How he wished he could be free like that.
It was then that he realized he was in a bit of a fix. He had no idea how to present his idea professionally. He knew he had known how out in the meeting room, but here, alone and in the smaller space, he had completely forgotten. Panic filled him and he fought desprately to hold it in.

((lol, aww he's all nervous, but Hinote is in business mode. Means he won't be trying anything with Kitsune yet....emphasis on 'yet'.))
HInote grinned in response, though it was a bit forced. "Of course.. Chikyuu-kun. One should follow formalities in business." He bristled slightly at the comment about foxes being rude. Not because he was offended for the sake of other foxes, which he wasn't, but because he'd been lumped in with the lower-class foxes. He noticed, quite easily actually, the nervousness of the other, thus he silently waited for the male to calm down before they began with this business partnership discussion.
Luckily enough, his secretary returned with a tray and a full pot of tea with two cups. She set the tea tray on the table between the two and left them alone once more. As the host, Hinote poured the tea into the cups and slid Kitsune's cup closer to him gently. He lifted his own cup and took a sip of the steaming hot tea. He watched Kitsune from the corner of his eye.
