I always have an issue between determining what could be my imagination or what could be paranormal. I'm still somewhat skeptical that paranormal things are really para-normal. However, friends of mine have a ghost who lives mostly in the second story of their home. He is nervous of new guests and the first time I went there, I saw him in his regular place and he nodded to me nervously. I think he's okay with me, but he seems to definitely be the kind to stare at people. When I was at a tarot class at there house last week, he was watching me giving a reading, fairly intently.

Other interesting things include my intuitive abilities, particularly my ability to tell what emotions and thoughts people are hiding by looking into their eyes for a while. I also have repetitive deja vu often (where you experience the same thing several times). I've even once or twice manipulated causality with deja vu. Since I had experienced it before, I used my knowledge of what was going to happen next, and prevented it from happening. It's never been anything big like a friend whose premonition saved a friend of hers from getting hit by a car, but still it's not bad. Perhaps one day it could save a life, help to heal or be beneficial to others.

And as for my geneology, my dad is a Presbyterian pastor, and my great great grandfather was supposedly a healer. We have flyers from the 1930's that talk about all the people he cured. He never charged for any of it.

I don't know if my experiences with the paranormal are that impressive. But there was a time I was hme alone and I had the radio on and it stopped playing for no reason and it was still plugged in. Later on it started playing agian though. There was also a time when I was the only one in my family who couldn't log onto AOL for some reason. I thought that was kinda weird.

I've had quite a few first-hand paranormal experiences, including the ghost story I posted in the ghost story thread, and deja-vu. My scariest paranormal experience happens to be with a psychic vampire. The following events took place in late May/early June of last year.

One night, I was dreaming, and in my dream, I was the leader of a clan of vampires, and we were fighting with a rival clan. The battle all boiled down to a fight between me and the leader of the rival clan, a big, burly man with warpaint on. However, before the battle could be decided, I awoke, and this is what happened to me when I did.

When I awoke, I was completely paralyzed, I couldn't even find the breath in me to scream for help. That's when I noticed something at the foot of my bed. I couldn't see it, but I could percieve it. The astral form moved across my bed and seemed to come to rest right on my chest. When this happened, I felt like it was pulling my energy away, sucking on my very soul. This feeling stayed with me until the being left, the specifics of how it left are unclear to me, but as soon as it did, I was no longer paralyzed. Though I was drained of energy, I was also scared out of my mind, and couldn't sleep, so since dawn was near anyway, I decided to just stay up.

But the story does not end there, oh, no. I had read some books on the subject of the paranormal, including "Vampires: The Occult Truth" by Konstantinos. In this book, I had read about psychic vampires, how the only similarities between psychic vampires and mythical vampires was name, how they fed off the astral energy, or aura, of those around them, and how a psychic vampire attack could also be called a "Hag Attack," because it was rumored some witches astrally projected themselves at night to drain the energy of little children who were foolish enough to sleep face-up. I went to my friends to try to learn more about the subject, telling them my experiences with the psychic vampire. It was Tezra who mentioned that the "Hag Attacks" rumor could be true, stating that the assailant was actually a living person, also intertwining the dream I had before the attack with the actual attack, and stating that the rival clan leader and the psychic vampire could be one and the same.

After this initial attack, I performed a spell recommended by Konstantinos, and I haven't been attacked since.

COOL!!

So I have a question: Are some ghosts/spirits evil?

All of my own experiences and everything I have been taught about them have said that they are harmless and do not mean anyone real harm. They are just minding their own business and like to have fun. I still believe that. But some stories I hear are about people being theatened or mildly attacked. Are the people just spooked and/or misunderstanding the intent of the spirit? Or are some spirits out there really out to cause trouble?
