Rheingold
Temari gasped as the information came through the communications log, “Karin!” she called, the gennin had returned earlier with her team and reported to Temari to assist.
“Yes Auntie?” the reddish gold haired girl asked, green eyes staring in worry at the look in the blonde’s eyes.
“Go get your mother and Shane… there’s news from Danshoku.” Temari said, biting her lip, “It was attacked…”
Karin’s eyes widened and she ran off full speed to grab Mira and Shane, “There’s an urgent message!” she cried, “Something just happened!”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Yuko narrowed her eyes as she looked over the Akatsuki base.
“Just like old times isn’t it?” a voice said behind her, “You came in the middle of the night to report when you saw my secret in Kiri.”
She whirled around, “Madara.” the venom was sharp in her voice, “You and I will end this here.”
He smirked, “Just try it and see.”
There were no more words as the red-headed Mizukage launched into the first of her attacks, forming seals as she summoned her scalpels.
-------------------------------------------------------------
In Sunagakure, Shikamaru sighed as he entered the Kazekage’s office, “Tsumi.” he said looking at the bookshelf of scrolls, “Now Konoha has desert power.”
He reached a hand to take the first down as the captain of the forces he led into the hidden village coughed behind him, “Orders?”
“How many of their civilians and shinobi are left?”
The captain fidgeted, “Many of their forces were able to escape into the deep desert where we couldn’t follow… and there are rumors that the Kazekage and his family made it to Danshoku.”
“They don’t matter. We have his village, he’ll be back to attempt to take it back,” Shikamaru’s eyes darkened, “Especially since he left all these forbidden desert jutsu just lying around, that’s dangerous,” he sighed, “The first order is to instate a new Kazekage.”
“That would be you,” Matsuri said as she and Sari entered the room, each going to one of his sides and licking him, “Since you so easily took over.”
“Troublesome,” he sighed again, but an evil glint was in his eyes, “Without you two helping, Temari might have figured me out sooner.”
Sari purred, “We’ve been waiting for this day for so long. We’re so grateful to you for letting us have our revenge.”
“He really was a monster,” Matsuri said as the captain of the forces left before the two girls showed Shikamaru exactly how grateful they were.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Yuko panted, none of her attacks were getting through, No choice… I have to use it… “Boil Release!” she shouted, the air turning hot as it sped towards Madara, “Corrosive Mist!”
It worked…almost… his mask was destroyed and she saw the face he had hidden for so long. But before she had a chance to gloat, to follow up the attack with her next, the sharingan in his eyes spinned and suddenly he was at her, his kunai in her gut.
“It ends here still,” she gasped out forming more hand seals, “Lava Release! Explosion!” below her the ground turned red as magma boiled up from up, engulfing them both.
She attempted to grab him, to keep him from escaping.
It was no use, he slipped from her grasp, and her only comfort as the lava swallowed her whole was that she knew he was injured, quite possibly deathly so.
She closed her eyes, Itachi… I’m coming to join you now… Choujuuro… I’m sorry I couldn’t love you as much as you did me… Take care of our children… and our village… You’re Mizukage now.
She waited for the final bell to toll, blinked in surprise at the suddenly cool air.
“You are worthy,” a cool feminine voice said, and Yuko looked up to see a woman standing over her in blood red plate armor, her blonde hair whipping as cool blonde eyes looked down at her. “I am the Eidolon Brynhildr, a champion of the Goddess… and I have chosen you to be my master. He will not escape us again.”
Nodding, Yuko’s eyes closed. Much later she would open them to find herself back at the base camp, a worried Karasu looking over her from where he sat next to her bedroll, Crow Itachi on his shoulder.
The golden band around her left handed ring finger, the one Itachi had given her years before, felt warm. She lifted it up, marveling at the light and heat she felt from inside it. Brynhildr…
-------------------------------------------------------------
Mira and Gaara were talking quietly as she cooked, “I can’t believe Dyzzi’s gone,” the woman said sadly, “She was one… no she was my first friend.”
He smiled sadly, looking around at the plethora of food Mira had made, her strange way of dealing with grief, “She died as a kage should, she defended her village.”
A soft thud as the cook placed down a plate of shrimp tempura. “W…will you go like that one day?” she asked quietly, biting her lip.
Suddenly he was next to her, tilting her chin up as he captured her lips in a passionate kiss, “I can’t promise,” he whispered when they parted, “It’s the same as with you… or have you forgotten how you were almost sacrificed?”
She nodded at that, chewing the inside of her cheek as she considered his words, and their hands intertwined, he leaned to kiss her again…
“Ouch!” Haru and Sora tumbled forward from their hiding spot near the back of the kitchen, “Damn…” they looked up to see their parents looking at them, “Well what are you waiting for!” they exclaimed, “Kiss her Dad!”.
Mira sighed, gently smiling at the two, “Isn’t it bedtime?”
“But Mama,” Haru started.
“Get on you two, you both still have veggie duty in the morning,” she said before Sora could finish the sentence, leading them to the tent the other children were sleeping in.
“You too Chihiro,” Gaara said quietly after they had gone, and his daughter peeked sheepishly out from the opposite side from where the boys were hiding.
“It’s not like I sleep Daddy,” she said, “And we’re all worried about Mama…”
He smiled, “Mama’s a big girl,” he promised, “And she has Neji and I to worry about her,” he walked over to her, picking her up, “You need to at least rest, even a short meditation will do wonders.”
“Daddy… that lullaby…” she asked quietly, “The one you sang to me when I started having the nightmares… can you sing it to me again?”
He smiled at her, “Of course,” he said as she hugged his neck and in a low voice he sang the words as he carried her back into the tent.
It was one of the few nights that she was able to sleep, deep and dreamless.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning armies moved forward from Sunagakure, heading toward the base camp. From atop the Kazekage tower, Shikamaru lazed at the desk, chewing on a piece of straw as he gazed back at the clouds.
A nin opened the door, “I want you to send a message to that outpost,” he said, “Send it on the fastest hawk… I want them to know exactly where it came from and who sent it.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Temari came running into the kitchen the second Tobimaru landed, knowing that both Gaara and Mira would be there, “Here,” she said handing him the letter.
He opened it up, “Apparently the occupation of Sunagakure was a success for Konohagakure. And he,” he would not acknowledge the name of the man who betrayed his sister, “Has taken my position.”
Mira and Temari exchanged a glance before he continued.
“He claims that he has given the information on how to use the sands and puppets to his forces, that he has desert power now and will be attacking us shortly.” There was an evil glint in Gaara’s eyes as he looked up.
Years ago that look would have frightened Temari, now she merely nodded, the same glint in her own eyes.
“Fool,” Gaara said, “He may have desert power now, but he forgets one thing.” he smirked, commanding his sand to come forth and tear the letter up, crush it to join the rest of his grains.
“I am desert power.” he said that in his quiet but powerful voice.
The one who betrayed his sister would not live, he would make certain of that.

Boys will be boys
And the world cried for its lost child, and the lost child cried, for losing the world. Tears formed in the sky, and the rain made the world feel its tears. The rain tried to wash away the Akatsuki filth, but there was nothing it could do. The Earth reached its hand out into the world, and held Shane's. He cried with the world, and they dreamt of being released from their cruel fates, and living amongst the stars, where they could watch over the heavens, and cry in joy when they saw their loved ones laugh, and cry in pain when they saw them scream. They could wait among the stars, for their hand to finally reach the world, and take their lost loves to their new life, encradling them in warmth, and love. But the Earth let go of Shane's hand. It let go, because it knew that this world would never come. With Shane's tears, the Earth grew, and prepared for a new messiah, a new light in the darkness. For, Shane was now Yaoikage.
He was afraid. Not many people had known him, anymore. Not many people believed in him, anymore. Not many people trusted him, anymore. Dansho had grown alot since he left, and it made him very fearful. He missed the old Dansho where everyone knew him, and loved him, and where he could feel their love in his heart, but it wasn't like that anymore. It was all gone. His heart was cold, and only one person could breathe the warmth back into the freezing carcass. But, Naruto didn't know. He didn't know of his lovers heart lingering back into darkness, and he didn't know he needed to save him. He didn't know, so he didn't try.
When the final candle blew out, and his heart was in darkness, he forgot. He forgot about the one he loved, the reason he was fighting for. So, he forgot his oath, his forsworn promise. That Naruto was his one, and only love. He planned it all, planned his betrayal. Planned his demise.
''We're going back to Europe.'' He said, coldly. ''What?'' Naruto said, and raised an eyebrow. ''We need allies, and that's the only place we'll find more.'' He explained.
''...Alright, what's the battle plan?'' Aidan asked, holding back a sigh.
''Aedan, you and I are going to Italy, seeing as how you could probably easily sway them to join our cause. And, Saisei is coming as well, of course. Naruto, you and Odin are going to France, and Minato, and John, are going to Britain. These are three major countries, so it would be very fruitful if we gained their aide.'' He looked at the men, ''Understood?''
Aedan chuckled a little, ''Understood.'' The other men joined him in his words. 'Just me and him, eh?' He thought, and smirked.
------------------------------------------------------------
Saisei stared into Kano's eyes, and then gave him a sweet kiss, while rubbing his hand on his soft cheek. ''Goodbye, Kano. Make sure you're still a virgin when I come back.'' Saisei smirked, and Kano blushed. ''Oh, Saisei, my fair youth. Why won't my mother let me come with you?'' Kano frowned, ''Because... ******** if I knew. I'll bring you back something special, I promise.'' As hard as it was to admit it, Saisei was starting to fall in love with the boy. Since the first, they had been playing around quite a bit, and Saisei longed for the day when he could finally make love to Kano. Although Saisei was in love with Odin, he didn't know if he loved him back. So, a little experiment couldn't hurt, right? However, he didn't know, that Odin did love him, and he was quite hurt by his brother setting his sights to another. But, he kept it inside, like the shy boy he was, would.
''G-goodbye, ...Kano.'' Odin smiled, and walked off with his brother, off to a journey that they wouldn't share.
------------------------------------------------------------
''Shane, I'm going to miss you so much. When we reunite, you better give me ALOT of good sex, okay?'' Naruto smiled.
''Don't I always?'' He said, and kissed his lover softly on the lips, and held his hands on his face, never wanting to let go. Naruto looked deeply into his eyes, and saw the love he always did, but it was clouded. He kissed Shane, and then he went off. Shane waved at him, and they both cried. Although he was planning on all of this, it still hurt to see his lover go. But, when the tears were blown away, he looked into Aedan's eyes, and smiled. Aedan's eyes widened a bit, and he stepped a little back, unsure of the reason for the smile.
''Well, it's just us.'' Shane smiled.
''Are you glad?'' Aedan asked, boldly. He wanted to know where he stood with Shane, if anywhere at all.
''Aedan, I want to get to know you better, and that's another reason I chose for you to come with me, to the trip.'' He smiled a little, and stared at Aedan, with a vulnerable look in his eyes.
Aedan laughed a little, ''Well, it isn't exactly going to be private, seeing as how we have your son come along, but you can peg me for useless information, any time!'' He smiled.
''Oh, hold on, while I jump for joy.'' He smiled. ''Well, we'll go to the checkpoint we set up, near Suna. We should rest there, for a while, and then we can continue the rest of our trip.'' He smiled at Saisei, and picked him up, holding him in his arms, as a father would, protecting him from the dangers of the world. He kissed his son on the forehead, and they trailed off.
-----------------------------------------------------------
At the checkpoint, Shane laid the sleeping Saisei on the bed in his tent, and went over to go talk to Aedan.
''Aedan, I've been meaning to ask you something.'' Shane looked over at Aedan, and blushed a little.
''Oh? What is it?'' Aedan raised an eyebrow.
''I want to know if you all of that senseless flirting, and all of your ceaseless accidental butt grabbing, means anything more than a simple tease.'' Shane asked, and frowned a little.
''I-I of course it means more, Shane. W-why are you asking me this, anyways?'' Aedan blushed.
''Because, I... I care for you, a great deal, Aedan. It lifts a great burden off of my heart to know that your words are sincere.'' He smiled, and stood up. They were sitting by the campfire, and Shane walked over to go sit by Aedan. Aedan was speechless, and just stared deeply into Shane's eyes. Shane smiled, sincerely, and held Aedan in a strong embrace. Aedan had never felt so.. so vulnerable. Aedan put his hands across Shane's waist, as Shane pushed them back against the wall of the tent. Shane kissed Aedan softly on the lips, and then pulled off Aedan's shirt. It revealed the n****e piercing Shane had grown to desire, and Shane licked it, but then began to pull off his own shirt. He pressed his chest against Aedan's, and Aedan moaned a little, and Shane kissed him on the lips, and put his tongue in Aedan's mouth. Aedan kissed him back, and started to pull down Shane's pants.
Shane grinned with excitement, and started to rub his chest against Aedan's, while kissing his neck. Although he really wanted to, he couldn't give him hickeys, as if Saisei saw, he'd be onto them. He began to move his lips down Aedan's body, and stopped to lick, and bite, Aedan's nipples. He licked around the n****e piercing, and then began to slide his tongue down Aedan's abdomen. He sucked a little at Aedan's pecs, and then made his way down to the fabric where his crotch was. He sucked at it, a little, causing Aedan to moan, and then stuck his hand down Aedan's pants, grabbing his hard c**k. Aedan moaned a little, and Shane grinned. He began to stroke the hard c**k, and fully released it, by pulling down Aedan's pants. He stroked it a few more times, but then let go, and rubbed Aedan's c**k against his own. He held Aedan close to him, as he rapidly slid their cocks against eachother, making them both frequently moan.
Aedan closed his eyes, and panted heavily, and Shane began to suck his c**k. He licked at the tip, and then began to slide his tongue down the sides, causing Aedan to lightly moan. Aedan widened his mouth, and moaned in pleasure, but then took his c**k out of Shane's mouth, and slowly lifted his head with his two hands, to where they kissed repeatedly. As Aedan and Shane rubbed their cocks against eachother, Shane began to switch positions, by holding Aedan, and then turning around. Aedan pushed Shane against the tent, and kissed his neck, but then moving his tongue back up, to lick Shane's lips.
Shane stroked his own c**k slowly, and then turned Aedan around. He held Aedan against himself strongly, with both of his arms, and then sat down, against the tent. Aedan was sitting on top of him, and he turned around to kiss Shane on the lips, softly. Shane lifted Aedan up a little, and stuck a finger in his a**. Aedan moaned, and started to stroke his own c**k. Shane spat on his finger, and then shoved it deeply into Aedan's a**. Aedan gasped a little, and Shane started to finger him violently. He grinned, and then took his fingers out, beginning to aim his c**k at Aedan's a*****e.
He put the tip in Aedan's a**, and slowly pushed Aedan down against him. He and Aedan both moaned together, both with different reasons. Aedan was in pain, as they had no lube, but Shane had an orgasmic energy rush. He firmly held Aedan's waste, and then began to rapidly ******** him. Aedan moaned in pain, but Shane's loud moan of pleasure over-voiced his. Aedan spat on his hand, and quickly stroked his c**k, attempting to cancel out the pain, but as they went, Shane began to go quicker, and quicker. Aedan's pain was mixed, as it was also very pleasureful, but he was still in a state of agony. He turned around to kiss Shane on the lips, and then continued to masturbate. Shane began to slow down, and moaned loudly. He came in Aedan's a**, and Aedan came shortly after, ...their moans awakening Saisei.
Shane and Aedan passionately made out, and Aedan blushed largely, feeling an immense amount of pleasure at the kiss. Shane smiled, and held Aedan closely against him, putting his head over his shoulder. He closed his eyes, and everything seemed alright. That is, until Aedan saw Saisei staring at them.
Aedan nudged Shane, causing him to open his eyes, although still blushing, and he saw Saisei. 'Oh, s**t!' He thought.
''Saisei! You know, Aedan and me were just practicing for the gift I have for Naruto when we reunite!'' Shane smiled, hiding his severe self loathing. He really hoped Saisei bought it.
''Oh, s**t, dad. I may look like a kid, but I'm not dumb like one. But, whatever. Boys will be boys, right?'' Saisei smirked, and walked back in his tent.
''I raised him so well.'' Shane smiled, and kissed Aedan on the cheek. ''So, wanna go again?'' Shane cuddled Aedan.
''Not without lube we aren't.'' Aedan sighed.
''Ah, fine. I guess we're making a stop at Suna, then!'' He smiled, and him and Aedan went into Shane's tent, Shane behind Aedan, holding his chest, and fell asleep, uncaring that they were both still naked.

Carpe Noctum
The night before the battle with Konoha’s forces was one of those tranquil moonlit nights that poets tended to flood with imageries of romanticism. Umbra sighed as she looked out towards the full moon, “They’re heading out tomorrow.”
Next to her, Mira looked up from the rations she was preparing, “Go on,” she said gently, “Who knows when you’d get the chance again. Besides… it’s good luck.”
Umbra blushed and jumped up, hitting her head on the tent’s support beam, “Ooof,” she moaned rubbing her head, “Wait… what about the kids?”
“They’re fine,” Mira promised, “Go spend some time with Lee.”
The purple haired kunoichi didn’t need to be told again and went running off to find her energetic teacher, finding him on the perimeter, talking to Neji and Tenten as the three were finishing up their strategy meeting.
“Umbra,” Neji said quietly, and Lee turned, his eyes lighting up with joy as he saw her. Tenten giggled as Neji sighed, “I think we’re done here anyways. We should rest up for tomorrow.”
“I don’t think Lee’s going to be doing much resting,” Tenten laughed, poking at the sudden dark blush forming on Lee‘s face.
“Gah!” Neji abruptly stood up and marched away, “I can’t know that!”
“But I thought that you already did!” Tenten teased, jumping up and following him back to the camp, laughing at the loud, “GAH!” from Neji.
Umbra pressed her fingers together, “So my team’s on defense tomorrow, but I was kinda hoping that we would get to fight together again.”
“I’m actually glad,” Lee smiled at her, “I’ll be better able to concentrate on the battle knowing that you and Kano are safe.”
They stared at each other for a long moment then a sudden wind picked up and Umbra blinked as she found herself in his arms, “Lee-sensei…” she breathed.
“We’ve gotten a bit further than that in the last few years,” he whispered huskily in her ear as he picked her up, “Umbra-chan, let’s revel in our youth before this battle.”
She sighed as he kissed her, throwing her arms around his neck as he planted smaller kisses down her throat and to her chest, one of his hands reaching into her blouse.
Umbra was incredibly grateful that Gai had been ordered to scout the armies earlier that day, when they reached their tent, it was empty. He put her down for a moment and she rushed to her bags to get out the soundproofing seal that the Danshoku technicians had prepared for such occasions. Setting it in place, she turned back to Lee, giving a slight “oomph” as he tackled her onto the bedrolls.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Shikamaru smirked as he leaned against his command tent, tomorrow they would be facing against the forward camp and his long planned revenge would finally begin. Behind him Matsuri and Sari were talking quietly, lustful whispers that went straight to his groin.
Troublesome woman. He glowered at the thought of Temari, how she absolutely refused to bend for him, how she dominated him… not how it was supposed to be at all. Ever since that day she had saved his life, she had taken a haughty attitude for him.
The first part of his revenge was almost complete, break the sand woman completely to his will, then on to destroy this wretched village that had taken everyone away from him. Even Choji had left, saying that it wasn’t right what Konoha was doing.
He sighed, remembering his deal with the elders of Konoha… he couldn’t kill everyone at this base, the Hyuuga girl had to be delivered to her clan.
Plaintive pleas sounded behind him, the two girls begging him to give them attention. He smirked once again before turning into the tent.
You would have wished you begged me like that when I kill your brothers in front of your eyes.
-------------------------------------------------------------
“Mama,” Chihiro said as Mira combed and braided her daughter’s hair, “Why aren’t you going to fight?”
“We’re staying here to guard the camp and keep the communications open and a semi-permanent medical center,” Mira said quietly, “Your daddies are just going to make sure they don’t reach this point.”
The small girl nodded at that, chewing on her lip. Across from them in the temporary onsen, Temari grinned at her as she towel dried Usagi, “Don’t fret Chi, we’re going to be kept awfully busy here. You can join Karin in helping me with the message running all over base.”
Mira left her daughter and knocked on the barrier separating the girl’s and boy’s bath, “Oi! Hurry up you three! Bedtime!” The twins and Kano’s voices rose up, arguing the fact.
Temari started working on Usagi’s hair, “Soooo…are you going to wish Gaara and Neji luck for the battle?” she asked with an all-knowing grin.
The red-headed woman stopped for a moment and turned to her sister-in-law, “It wouldn’t be fair to you to simply leave you with all the children just so I can get sex.”
Temari chuckled, “You’ve got to be more selfish Mi-chan. Besides, I have a good feeling that when all of this is over I’m going to be subject to your matchmaking. I figure, I get in a good favor, and maybe I won’t be set up with a total loser wimp.”
“I’ll have you know that my matchmaking skills are perfected so that anyone I would set you up with, and I’m not saying that I’m going to, would be absolutely perfect for you.”
“After that lazy b*****d, all I’m asking for is someone to actually do something in bed instead of lie there and let me do all the work,” Temari sighed, “I don’t think I ever actually came with him. Boring sex was boring.”
Usagi’s hair was set in her small buns and Mira knocked on the barrier again, “Boys. Out,” she turned back to Temari, “Considering the majority of the village, I don’t think that’ll be a problem. The hard part lies in getting at least someone bi.”
The blonde laughed at that as the twins and Kano came out from the bath, rubbing their hair with a towel.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Later that night, Mira was standing outside the children’s tent, looking up at the stars.
“Go,” Temari smiled as she stepped out, “I’ll never forgive you if you don’t give my brother a damn good reason to come back.”
A small smile, and she was off to the tent that Gaara was using as his personal command center and sleeping quarters. She stopped at the tent flaps for a moment before slightly parting them and slipping in.
“I was wondering when you would come,” the red-headed smirked from where he was leaning against Neji’s bare chest.
She crossed the tent, “Sorry I was late, I had a difficult time getting the children to settle down.”
Both reached for her, and she let herself be pulled into their arms.
Tomorrow the battle would begin. Tonight they needed each other more than they ever had in the past. The brewing storm on the horizon threatened to take the stars from the sky.

Deutschland ist siegreich!
Early notes: This means ''Germany shall be victorious!''
As they traveled, they realized that something was strange. There were many footprints, and the land seemed to be pillaged. As if a desperate army of people ran by, and tore the ground open for food. Perhaps that was it. But, the problem was... that it was headed towards Dansho's direction.
Shane and Aedan weren't the only to notice. Eventually, they caught on to familiar faces scoping the grounds.
''Naruto!'' Shane loudly yelled, and ran towards Naruto's direction.
''Shane... do you know what happened here? We saw a burning farmland on our way, and immediately began to search.'' Naruto said, in a serious voice. He was unsure exactly who did this. Konoha wouldn't do something as foolish as this, and nor would Akatsuki. They didn't need to. Was it bandits? That would explain the pillaging, but not the army sized wave of footprints. This was something more.
''Let's go back to Dansho.'' Shane said, coldly. He worried for Dansho. It was a huge risk to have the most powerful people in the village leave.
''What if the enemy used this against us? What if they somehow found out we left? We have to go back. Now.'' He said, and grabbed Naruto's hand, dragging him back.
''But wait! Where's father?'' Naruto asked, before seeing a familiar smile.
''Right here, son.'' He said, while holding John's hand.
''Jeez, father. Didn't know you liked my brother-in-law.'' Naruto said, with a smirk.
Minato quickly let go of John's hand, blushing, ''I-It's not like that! I was helping him flash back to us! He doesn't know it!'' Minato said, loudly.
''And, is that right, my dear brother? Or... did you do.. more?'' Shane asked, with a smirk on his face.
''Oh yes we did.'' John said, and kissed Minato's cheek.
''WHAT?! YOU GUYS ARE EVIL! I DID NO SUCH THING!'' Minato yelled, with a large blush on his face. ''Let's just go!'' He said, ignoring the three other mens laughs.
-------------------------------------------------------------
They finally arrived at the village. At the broken, beat down, destroyed village. Celebration could be seen, shouting the words, ''Wir taten es! Wir besiegten die Pferd-bumsende Arschloche!''(1) Everyone froze for a second at the sight. Everyone froze except for Shane. Everyone... froze except for Ragnarok.(2) His roars could be heard from miles away, and his rage could be felt by the Goddess herself. Suddenly, Shane was not there. There was only one creature where he stood. Ragnarok had taken over him, body and soul. And Saisei, and Odin, they were gone as well. His body was not his, and soon, Germany would wish Shane had stayed himself, as well.
He quickly dashed into the village, and met the man behind the evil.
''And so you appear. You appear in the form of none other than Ragnarok himself.'' He smirked, ''No matter. Soon, you will bow down to your Fuhrer, just as all of these pitiless fools. You will praise me, even in your death.'' He said, and then began to fly up. He then widely smirked, and summoned a large, bolting giant, and praised its name, ''Blitzkrieg: zutreffender Körper''(3) Aedan's eyes widened. He knew the beast. It was Blitzkreig. But noone had ever been able to summon it for more than one attack. To maintain it.... was simply amazing. Blitzkreig striked as fast as lightning, and how could Shane compete with that? Not even Ragnarok could compete with that... or so he thought.
''Blitzkreig! Strike!'' The Fuhrer yelled, and at the speed of lightning, the beast struck Ragnarok. However, the next sight was one that would surprise them all. Ragnarok held the giant beast, and compacted him. He locked it in an orb, and began to smash the beast. Screams could be heard, even through the orb, and Ragnarok largely smirked. He smirked as the beasts blood gashed out, and he smirked as he quickly held the king in his hand, and smashed him, as well. However, the king was a martyr. He held high hopes for his country, and he set off his final move, and his most powerful one. ''Brande!''(4) He yelled, and quickly exploded. A large flash of light enwrapped their sight, and it would have killed them if Ragnarok hadn't have intervened. He blocked the destruction from destroying the men,(5) and then left, leaving behind Shane's panting body.
The other men quickly rushed over to him, to check if he was alright. ''Shane?'' They asked, and without a response. Naruto began to shake Shane, but to no avail. And the children were gone. And the hope was lost. And, most of all, Germany... was victorious.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Shane opened his eyes, and stared at the complete darkness. He then saw a bright light. He looked over, and saw Saisei, and Odin, back in their knight forms. Shane raised an eyebrow, ''Sons?'' He said, confused. Was he in the afterlife?
Saisei smiled at him, ''Don't worry, father. You're in the Feymarch. The Eidolon world. This is where we are born, and raised, until we find a master.'' Saisei said, and then continued, ''But... I don't know why we're here. Eidolons are so rarely called back to the Feymarch that it is written in tales. And, humans... only a few have ever visited.'' Saisei said, and reached out his hand for Shane, and helped him get up.
''So, where do we go?'' Shane asked.
''I-I'm not sure.'' Saisei said, along with Odin. They did not know what to do, or where to go. Eventually, a lady, sitting on a sword came to them.
''Asura?'' Saisei asked, causing Shane to look back at him, and raise an eyebrow.
''Yes. Follow me.'' She said, and began to fly off.
''Jeez, very business-like, as always.'' Saisei said, and picked up Shane, then leaped off.
----------------------------------------------------------
After a while of flying around, they finally stood infront of a giant castle. It was grand, and caused even him to nearly gasp. ''Haha. Shane, you have to be the only person to not have to friggin draw the place.'' Saisei said, smiling.
Shane smirked, ''Wow. Amazing.'' He said, sarcastically. ''So, where were we? Oh, yes. Please, Asura, tell us what we are here for.'' Shane said, sternly.
''It has come to the Goddess' attention that you are able to use Ragnarok.'' Shane's eyes widened, ''Okay, NOW I'm surprised. The Goddess wants to speak to me?!'' Shane said, surprised.
Asura smirked, ''No, human. She wants to kill you.''
Authors Notes: (1)=This means, ''We will defeat those ******** assholes!'' (2)=This is not the complete Ragnarok, but an incomplete ''Prototype,'' using only Shane, and Saisei & Odin. (3)=''Blitzkreig, True body.'' (4)''Burn.'' (5)Danshokugakure was COMPLETELY destroyed by the explosion. Meaning, Iruka was killed, along with the citizens. This is what caused Shane to be so absolutely outraged. However, the only significant character that died was Iruka. Although Kakashi was in the village, He was able to use Kamui on the destruction that was heading towards him.

Joan of Arc
The morning came, and with it, the war.
Gaara led his and Neji’s team and a small force to meet with the army coming from Sunagakure. Mira went to the mess tent, waiting for news from the lines as she directed the children in the small chores that they had.
Karin pressed a note into her hand, “Yuko’s calling a meeting, there’s a new force coming.”
Mira nodded, chewing her lip, “Gaara was afraid of such,” she whispered before walking briskly to the medical tent.
In it the Mizukage was directing her subordinate medics into action, “Mira, I’m leaving you in charge of the defense here with your team. The army headed this way will take the rest of the forces here. However I will be leaving a team of medics, and in absolute worse case scenario, I need you to protect the hospital.”
She turned to Karin, “You are coming with me.”
“What about the communication lines to Danshoku?” the small gennin asked, “Don’t we need to keep those open?”
“Danshoku was destroyed,” Yuko said in a cold voice.
Mira’s eyes widened, “Sachiko and Ryuuichi are alright…” she started.
“Damnit, don’t try and comfort me now,” the Mizukage snapped, “Karin, go join the rest of my force. It’s time that you started getting treated like the other gennin.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
“As you suspected,” Neji whispered, byakuguan glaring, “Shikamaru is in the front. Be careful… his shadow stitching…”
“Won’t be enough to hold me,” Gaara promised, “I’ll handle him, you direct the forces around to flank.”
“Are you certain about this plan,” Lee said with wide eyes, “Couldn’t we simply retake…”
“They can’t have anyplace to fall back to,” the Kazekage said through clenched teeth, “Afterwards we can rebuild Suna, but for now… we have to destroy the path there.”
Neji and Lee nodded and left, taking the majority of the forces with them. Kankuro and Temari stayed behind, “You sure?” the puppet master asked.
“Keep the rest of the forces busy, trap him into facing me alone.” with that Gaara’s sand surrounded him and the red head was gone. His brother nodded, fingers already flexing the individual chakra strings sending them to the approaching armies. His sister formed some seals, directing the wind to start blowing at immense velocities.
When they started fighting amongst himself Kankuro smirked, easily distracting them away from each other… away from their leader, who was becoming more frustrated with each skirmish, knowing that somewhere the puppet master was causing it, that the wind mistress was causing the gales.
Then the sand picked up with the wind, blinding the enemy through the sand storm, and through it, Kankuro and Temari knew that Gaara had begun his assault.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Mira chewed her lip as Yuko led the forces away from the camp and towards the Konoha lines.
“Something’s up,” Umbra noted, “You’re not just nervous about Karin being called into battle.”
“Too easy,” the red-head whispered, “Allora… form a watch on the perimeter. Umbra, I’m leaving you in charge of the barrier, get Chi and the twins to use their abilities and back up your mirrors.”
“You think that they’re going to somehow attack here?” Allora asked.
“Wouldn’t you?” Mira looked over to the children, “They’re after Karasu and Usagi, remember. And it’s not a big secret where our forward base is. I’m willing to bet that there’s a smaller force hiding undercover in the desert or mountains. We’re going to have to fight.” She turned to Umbra, “Get the kids in the medical tent and prep for the barriers. I’m trusting you to keep them safe.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Night fell, and the sand storm that had been brewing all day finally reached a frenzy and Shikamaru shielded his eyes from the harsh winds, “Damnit… fall back!” he yelled, not sure if anyone could even hear.
“News from the base,” a nin pressed a message into his hand, “Suna’s been destroyed!”
“Troublesome,” the Nara looked around, “You’re really willing to destroy your village just for a slight chance of winning?” he yelled.
There was no answer, only the wind blowing sharply across the dunes, and briefly he wondered if he was crazy for thinking that the former Kage and his siblings were the cause of this sand storm.
Suddenly he smirked, “You didn’t think that this was the only force that came from Suna did you? I bet that Matsuri and Sari have already destroyed the for…”
His voice trailed off as he felt the sand climb up his body, saw the face briefly in the storms ahead of him.
Suddenly the winds were calm, and Gaara stood alone over the bloodied sands.
He pressed a hand to the wireless in his ear, “It’s done. Fall back.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Mira stood in the center of the camp, watching quietly for any sign. Behind her was a dome of bone, glass, and sand that she knew the children and Umbra to be safely behind. Ahead of her, in the mountain path that bottlenecked into the camp was Allora.
“Incoming,” came Allora’s voice over the wireless, “Orders?”
“Take care of the leaders,” her fists flared up, “Hopefully the rest of the group will break up then.”
“Understood,” Allora’s voice said.
In the forces, Matsuri and Sari paused, “We’re after the white-eyed brat,” Matsuri said, “Kill all the others.”
“Think we’ll let you?” Allora said from her perch in the rocks above, holding her whip at the ready.
“We’ll take care of this one,” Sari said, “The rest of you go.”
“Mira,” Allora said into the wireless, “You’re outnumbered. By a damn sight, there’s twenty heading your way.”
“I told you that it’s fine,” Mira’s voice said, “You take care of the leaders, I’ll get the rest. Don’t forget my kekkei genki.”
“Don’t really see how being a human flamethrower is gonna help.” she snapped her whip, jumping as Matsuri and Sari attacked her.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Mira easily defeated the first five, Phoenix, I may not need to call on you after all.
“Don’t get too cocky,” the gentle voice said from her necklace, “I sense that the remaining fifteen won’t be so easily defeated…” the voice trailed off, “Behind you!” she yelped.
Pota stood there, next to Zetsu, “We came to get the Uchiha child,” the plant man said, “You don’t mind do you?” Pota moved into the attack then, swinging his club.
Mira jumped out of the way, “Hanami Dango!” she yelled directing a punch downwards.
Kunai shot pass her, a few grazing her, and she glanced back to see the nin that were with Matsuri and Sari entering the camp, “Crap… there are too many…” a hand flew to the Phoenix‘s stone, “Can you amplify my flames if I go all out?”
“That’ll kill you!” Phoenix cried.
“We may not have a choice!”
More kunai flew and the club came down. Mira stared at Pota as she held his club still, “You’re not getting them,” she said, “You’ll burn first.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Allora was standing up from Matsuri’s and Sari’s defeated and battered bodies when the sky started glowing, “Crap!” her hand flew up to the wireless, “Mira! Come in!”
Only static answered her, she started to run back, but a wave of sheer heat pushed her back, “Damnit!”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Yuko looked back towards the camp from where she was leading the forces towards Danshoku, “What does that glow mean?”
Karin’s eyes widened, “No… it can’t be,” she turned to the older nin, “We have to go back!”
“We can’t!” Yuko exclaimed, then her eyes softened as she chew her lip, seeing the worry in the girl‘s eye and looking at the glowing sky, she finally sighed in defeat, “But you go ahead. You might be able to somehow help.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Fear gripped his heart, and he couldn’t say why, “Hurry!” Gaara ordered as he saw the glowing sky, only knowing that he had to somehow get there before it was too late.
Too late for what though?
His siblings nodded, and they started running.
-------------------------------------------------------------
“Auntie Umbra,” Chihiro cried, “Something’s happening outside!”
The purple haired nin chewed her lip, as she wrapped her arms around her son and the two youngest of Mira’s children. Haru and Sora found themselves huddling next to her as Karasu nervously looked at the surrounding wall.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Blood dripped from where the kunai had struck her skin and blue flames surrounded her as she looked at the enemy nin surrounding her.
The blue flames gave way to red to yellow to white, growing outward, enveloping everything in it’s path, except for the dome the children were beneath, the flames surrounded that, but not touching, somehow giving it protection from the rest.
And then suddenly, it was over, the flames exploded in a violent burst and disappeared. Not one of the enemy had survived the fire.
But Mira was nowhere to be seen. All that was left of her was the small glowing red stone that once hung around her neck that slowly fell into a pile of ashes, the only bright spot in the blackened camp.
-------------------------------------------------------------
It was dawn when Gaara returned with his and Neji’s teams, all walking quickly across the burnt campsite, searching for some sign that their families had survived.
“Here!” Umbra cried out to Lee as the wall of mirrors sand and bone fell away. She held Usagi, the other children behind her, “Mira kept us all…” her voice trailed off, finally seeing in the sunrise what she couldn’t the past night, not through the barriers she was ordered to stay behind, “Where is she?”
Karin ran into the clearing then, “Mama!”
“Where did Yuko and the rest of the forces here go?” Neji asked Umbra as Gaara used his sand to try and find some sign of Mira or the others.
Allora answered, “Danshoku was attacked. Yuko went to see if there were any survivors from the shelters.”
There was silence at those words as the remaining people at the base looked at each other. Usagi started crying that she was hungry and Neji took her from Umbra, reaching into his bag for some of the rations that Mira had made a few nights ago.
Haru and Sora took Chihiro’s hand and the three of them went to their father, reaching him as he picked up a red stone.
“That’s Mama’s necklace,” his daughter said quietly as she watched him stare at it, “She never takes it off… that and the ring you gave her.”
The twins had the silver sheen to their eyes as they looked around, finally sighing, “We can’t tell… there were too many here last night.”
“Don’t look anymore,” Gaara whispered as his fingers closed over the warm stone, and the rain started to fall, echoing the tears forming in his eyes, “She isn’t here.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
The group traveled to the remains of Suna, and Gaara used the sand to rebuild the city exactly to what it was, entering it as though nothing had happened. He left Neji and the children in his office as he and his siblings went to the council room.
As he suspected, the old men were there, safe from outside influences in their tomb. “Worse than scum,” he said as he swept in, “How many of our villagers were killed while you hid here? While you kissed the feet of that traitor spy?”
No mercy, he hadn’t the patience for it anymore, not for these old men who had been selling out his people since the beginning, prevented him from...
…The warm stone he was wearing beneath his robes burned a bit against his skin, and he took a breath to calm down. They were gone now, no need to give them a second thought.
Gaara turned to Kankuro after the sand filled the room, “Go to the dunes, find our people that have hidden themselves in the desert. Take Karin with you, she needs the diversion.”
He nodded, then looked at him with a bit of worry, “I know we’re fighting a war… but give yourself time to grieve. She deserves that much at least. Karin and the children aren‘t the only ones who…”
He didn’t answer him, instead turning to Temari, “All of those holes in our defenses… I want them gone. If the enemy that attacked Danshoku attempts to come here, I don’t want them to even be able to find us. Inform the look-outs to keep an eye out for survivors. If they’re real, they’ll need the haven.”
“He’s right you know,” Temari said quietly.
Gaara turned and glared at them both, and for the first time in years they were reminded of why they were once afraid of him.
“Right,” they said jumping to their new duties, but not before giving a worried glance to their brother.
He stood alone in the hall, before he called his sand to himself, letting the grains drift him away.
He landed at the top of the Kazekage tower, looking out on the village as the sand formed and flowed around him as he looked up at the stars.
“Daddy?” Chihiro’s voice sounded, and he turned to look at her, as she used her own sand to balance herself to sit next to him, “I can’t sleep again,” she said quietly, “Haru and Sora have each other and Usagi’s with other dad…” she didn’t say anymore as he took her into his arms, her small arms wrapping around him.
The stars above didn’t seem as bright as they used to.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Pain, there was so much pain. She was vaguely aware of the pale hands that wrapped around her, pulled her out of the fire and into this white place.
She couldn’t even move, only feel the pain, only stare ahead into the brightened void.
Her mind raced, struggling to catch a foothold on something, anything, that told her who she was.
Pale, sincere, teal eyes came to her mind, but she couldn’t place who they belonged to, why they made her warm and happy.
A shadow passed in front of her, “You don’t belong here,” a gentle voice said, one she vaguely recognized.
But who?
Something pressed itself to her lips, a cool liquid passed into her mouth and down her throat.
And with it, she remembered.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Gaara sat in his office, having tucked Chihiro in at the couch, her clutching the old bear as she managed to sleep.
The stone seemed so warm, and he almost wished that he knew how Mira could speak to the being that lived inside it, ask the eidolon if there was…
He shook his head, it was a silly hope.
However, he didn’t remember the stone being this warm, not when he kissed beneath it on the throat that wore it. That thought led to other memories, of the hands that slowly led his to her waist, of the mouth that knew just where to…
He stopped for a moment, breathing raggedly, taking the necklace off and staring at it’s soft glow.
She sat at the kitchen’s bay window a wistful look on her face, moonlight reflecting off of her red hair, and he saw a small bit of the gold that made itself so prevalent in her eldest daughter.
He walked over to her, and she was so engrossed in her knitting that she didn’t notice until he sat on the cushions across from her, something that earned him a brief warm smile.
“It’s late,” he said quietly.
She nodded, “I didn’t want to go to sleep just yet, Karin’s birthday is tomorrow and I’m almost finished with this.” she made a few more stitches, then held up the finished green and blue blanket, “I don’t know why I take on these big projects with hardly enough time to do them.”
He didn’t say anything, just watched her fold up the blanket, walk into the kitchen proper to get one of the spools of ribbons in her drawer, wrapping the thing up in parcel paper and placing it in the cabinet where she hid all of her presents for others.
Oddly enough, he couldn’t recall Haru or Sora ever going into the shelves within. All of the children left it alone, though even Usagi knew that was where Mira hid the gifts.
“Coming to bed?” she asked turning to him, reaching her hand out.
He reached to grasp it, for some reason suddenly needing to touch her…
And teal eyes opened to find the warm stone still in his hand, his head lying on his desk where he had fallen asleep a few hours ago. He clasped the necklace back around his neck, stuffing it under his shirt.
The door opened, and Temari came in, “Akatsuki’s been spotted,” she said quietly.
“How many?” he folded his hands as he stared at her.
She bit her lip, then slowly answered, “All of them.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Phoenix sighed, “If you and I save them, we will cease to exist... The only way...”
“No,” Sin smirked, “There’s another way.”
Her eyes widened, “But that’s…”
“Do we care?” he brushed his lips against her ear, “Give me the feather, we’ll revive them both and then...”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Gaara stared at Temari, “All of…” he jerked his hand back in shock, the stone had started burning,
“Hey, what’s that…” his sister stared at the red gem on the desk, as it grew brighter.
Suddenly both shielded their eyes, and a weight knocked them both down. When Gaara looked, a woman with more gold in her red hair than he remembered her having was sitting on top of him, “Mira…” he breathed.
“Ouch,” she grimaced, “I didn’t think that was what she meant when she said she had to rebuild everything.”
“Your hair…” he stared, “It’s like fire…”
“Considering that’s what she used, I’m not surpri… Oomph,” she winced, but smiled as Chihiro hugged her, “Did you guys miss me?” she asked gently, stroking her daughter’s hair.
“We thought you were dead,” Gaara said, his hand drifting to her face, “Not even the twins could…” a slight cough caused him to turned to Temari, “Haru?”
“Heh,” the blue haired nin rubbed the back of his head, “I know I was dead… but it seemed that something got me revived.”
“Not to complain about your coming back to life or anything,” Temari said, “But your elbow is pressing into my chest and even though you’re cute, it hurts. Move.”
Blushing, he scooted off of her, “Sorry I thought it was a pil…” her eyes narrowed, “It was just so…” he bowed his head, “Nevermind.”
“So how’d you two come back anyways?” Temari asked, looking from one to the other.
Mira was standing at the desk, trying to piece together the fragments of the red gem, “Phoenix sacrificed herself,” she breathed, “I can’t hear her anymore.”
Haru stood, and his fingers brushed against the bone mask hanging from his belt, looking down he stared at it.
Sin’s face was cracked. It was then he realized that he couldn’t hear the dark voice that had haunted him for so long either.
“Gaara, I hate to cut the reunion short,” Temari said quietly, “But the Akatsuki are attacking.”
“Damnit,” he said, then turned to his daughter, “Chi, go tell everyone Mira’s alri.. Mira you go with her, I want to make sure you’re perfectly alright before you get in combat again.” he reluctantly… very reluctantly moved his hand from her face, “I can’t…”
“You won’t,” she promised, “Just…”
He pressed his lips against hers, a hungry kiss that promised so much more later…
They parted, and she smiled at him as Chihiro took her hand to lead her to the where the other children were waiting.
“Hey Haru, after my brother and I go kick these guy’s asses take me out to dinner.” Temari suddenly said, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
He turned to her in surprise, “I…”
She grinned, “You ain’t going to this battle either, so just sit tight and hold the homestead for me. Besides I’m looking for a good time, and based on some things Gaara told me, I want to look with you.”
Emerald eyes widened, “He told…” Haru blushed, “But… I…” Mira took his arm, whispered something in his ear, “I mean… yes! I’ll have dinner with you!”
“Good,” Temari smiled, ignoring the slight glare Gaara was giving her, “See you then.” Mira and Haru left with Chihiro then, and she picked up her fan.
“I never told you anything…” her brother started.
“Not directly, but I do remember the discussion you and Mira were having when you were naming the twins,” she smiled, “I figured, I better get to him before word gets out that he’s suddenly alive,” her eyes darkened, “We better win. As bad as you were without Mira, I’d hate to see her should something happen to you.”
“We will,” Gaara assured her.
“You better believe that,” Temari grinned, “Cause you and I have got some good sex waiting on us when we get back!”
He had to remind himself that he couldn’t use the sand coffin on her… and a small part admitted that she was right.
Wait…
“You just met him!”

Cosmos
''Shane..... Shane..... Shane!'' Naruto yelled, as he shook Shane's lifeless body.
''Naruto.... it's pointless. Ragnarok... has a sacrifice. Shane gave up his life to save us, and we should not waste our life crying over him. He died a hero, and one that we will always lo-''
Aedan was interrupted by a strong punch in the face from Naruto. ''Shut up! It isn't too late! Shane doesn't die! There is many times he has died... but he always came back to me. I... I won't let him stay dead, and you shut the ******** up!'' Naruto said, and pulled his fist away from Aedan's face. However, he then immediately moved it over to his heart, and clenched it tightly. ''Nn-nngh!'' He sounded, and fell down.
''Naruto?!'' Minato yelled, and ran over to Naruto, Aedan quickly following.
''Shane..... where are you? I need you, fratello...'' John said, and released hold in his legs, causing him to fall down. He thought about his brother, with his face in the mud.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Shane's eyes widened, ''W-what? That was a joke, right?'' Shane asked, fakely laughing.
''I don't joke.'' Asura said, and then drew her blades. She pointed them to the sky, and began to chant. ''Oh goddess, shine your light on us today, and destroy the foul stench of this Ragnarok traitor.'' She said, and a shining white being slowly floated in, with the light of the sun reflecting off of it. ''Cosmos.'' Asura said, and smirked. Once the woman reached the ground, her white aura dispersed, and she simply smiled. ''I have been waiting for this for a very long time, usurper.'' She said, and then quickly shot out a white glowing orb, aimed at Shane's heart. It was too quick for Shane to evade, but he did not feel pain. He did not die, or anything of the sort. However, that did not last. Quickly, a flaming golden ball came out of his chest, and turned into 8 golden blades. The blades then transformed, creating arms, and a body. When the beast was completed, he announced his presence with a loud roar, and smirked at Cosmos. ''Why hello, my dear.'' Ragnarok said, with a deep voice.
Shane was in awe. 'This is Ragnarok?' He thought to himself. Ragnarok wasn't nearly this big, with this many arms, or this ferocious. Was the one he used incomplete? Shane wondered, but was quickly interrupted by a large explosion on where Cosmos was. Asura quickly flew out, only to get a scythe to the heart. ''Never liked you, b***h.'' Sin said, with a wide grin.
Shane's eyes widened. ''S-sin?!'' Shane asked, loudly.
Sin appeared next to him, and gave him a kiss on the cheek, causing Shane to jump back, in startlement. ''Hey, babe.'' Sin said, with a smirk. ''I'm back.''
''You're not Haru, so don't call me babe! A-and, speaking of Haru... is he back as well?'' Shane asked.
''Yes. But, I am too! You should be thinking of ME instead!'' Sin said, with a devious smile. He was simply teasing Shane, something that Shane quickly recognized.
''Oh great. Haru coming back is wonderful, but did they have to bring back the creepy Eskimo, too?'' Shane asked, with an annoyed voice.
''Well, ******** you. I come to save your a**, and this is what I get?'' Sin retorted.
''No you didn't. You just came here to meet Ragnarok.'' Shane said, with a bored expression.
'How did he know?' Sin questioned, but was cut off by Cosmos striking at him. Sin did not have the time to avoid, and was pushed back. Cosmos then shot a giant white beam at him, in which she entered, moving at extreme speed. Ragnarok followed, but could not catch up to Cosmos. Ragnarok had power, but Cosmos had immense speed. She made it to Sin, and punched his would-be body. She hit a skeleton clone instead, and bones flew out at her. She avoided them, only to have dozens of skeletons flying at her. She avoided them all, and spinned around. A giant white rose appeared, and all of the skeletons around it turned into smaller white roses. She smirked, and then punched into the ground. ''Smite!'' She roared, and a giant golden field of destruction began to consume the Feymarch. Lukewarm managed to protect Odin and Shane, and Ragnarok managed to protect Phoenix, and Sin.
''Halo.'' Cosmos said, and caused multiple pulses in the ground, which turned out to be giant, expanding waves of golden rings. The problem was, the pulse used magic to lock them on the floor, and no one could jump to avoid the powerful golden rings. Ragnarok opened up the ground, and a series of giant arms began to pull the halo in, and then the ground closed. Ragnarok smirked, and then a giant arm shot up from the ground, quickly followed by others, seaking down Cosmos. She stopped, and pushed into the ground, wings quickly forming at her sides. She flew up, and then a golden halo formed around her hand, surrounded by a bright white light.
A giant white and golden dragon descended from the skies, and came to her side. She stuck her hand into its mouth, and it began to chew. Golden blood spewed from its mouth, and Cosmos simply smirked, and then stuck in her arm, followed by the rest of her body. The golden blood held itself in the sky, and then quickly began to form into a being. A golden Cosmos was made, and she smirked, and drew her golden blade, with a white hilt.
''s**t! We have to go! Now!'' Sin yelled, and was quickly picked up by Ragnarok, along with the others. He quickly dashed out, but Cosmos followed. ''I see. It must be done, then.'' Ragnarok said, in his low voice. He pushed the men, and Phoenix, into his back, and sucked up the others into him, temporarily merging them with himself. He turned into an even more giant being, and suddenly had a great burst of speed. His arms formed together, and created great brown wings, and He hastily flew out, locking the Feymarch, and Cosmos, in a giant ball. He reached the exit, and then made his way through.
------------------------------------------------------------
A giant hole in the ground opened, and Ragnarok flew out, quickly releasing the others from his hold, shooting them out. Except for Shane. Shane's body simply awoken, but to screaming. He looked at Naruto's dying body, and began to yell, ''Guys?! What's going on?! Why is he screaming?!'' He asked, and began to shake Naruto. ''Don't. Shane, it's... burning blood again.'' Minato said, in a silent voice. ''What?! I thought it was cured!'' Shane said, and began to hyperventilate. Saisei and Odin, now back as children, tried to calm their father, but Shane quickly fell to the floor, next to Naruto, holding him against himself. And suddenly, Naruto stopped screaming, and they both drifted off to sleep.
The others carried them to a nearby inn near Dansho, and then Ragnarok finally spoke. The inn owner was extremely frightened by the huge beast, but let him in, in promise that he would keep his head down so that he didn't destroy the walls.
''I can save him.'' Ragnarok said, staring down Naruto.
''Then why don't you?!'' Aedan yelled, glaring at his former friend. Yes, Ragnarok and Aedan were friends. Ragnarok had trained Aedan in summoning Eidolons, and for a very long while.
''Because I need something in return.'' Ragnarok said, with a smirk. They had to make a deal with the devil.
''..What... is it?'' Minato asked, in a silent voice, without even taking a glimpse at the beast.
''If I strengthen his body so greatly that he is able to hold off Burning Blood, you must promise me something. You must kill Cosmos, and stick this orb into her heart.'' Ragnarok said, and created a glowing golden orb in his hand.
''Ragnarok! You can't do that!'' Aedan yelled.
''I don't get it. What's going on?'' Minato and John both asked.
''If... that orb is put into her heart, she will belong to the darkness. This evil b*****d will have this whole world CONSUMED by evil.'' Aedan said, pointing at the beast. And, he was right, but Minato was desperate. ''I promise.'' He said, taking a short look at Ragnarok. Ragnarok smirked, and shot out two white lights at the both, causing them to immediately wake up. Sin and Phoenix simply sighed, and Sin handed Phoenix a vial, and sent her off. ''I'll meet up with you later, babe.'' He said, and gave her a kiss on the hand. She rolled her eyes, and ran off.
''So, what's the game-plan?'' Shane asked. He and Naruto had felt really good. Better than in a very long while, and he was ready to get to work. ''Destruction of the Goddess, and that filthy b*****d Madara. He plans to use these foolish Eidolons to control me, and then the Goddess. We must stop this b*****d, for he is also an important threat. With our help, he would be able to maintain enough strength to house the Jubi forever. If that happens, I will be a ******** puppet of him for eternity! The thought sickens me.. How could he think of me as a tool?!'' Ragnarok said, in an arrogant tone, even for his low voice.
Shane simply ignored him, and whispered in Naruto's ear, ''Wasn't that our plan in the first place?'' He asked, with a smile. ''Yes, but don't let him know. He saved my a** for this.'' Naruto said, and gave Shane a kiss on the lips. Naruto now had many new strengths, and he utilized it. After a long kiss with Shane, He took a deep breath, and blew the others out of the room. They would have some fun before world domination, and all of that. They wouldn't have it any other way.

Reunion
Yuko slunk back to the mountain walls, having sent most of the forces, what little she had left, back to Suna when she received the hawk from Gaara a day ago.
I’ve retaken it. Fall back.
She had personally refused, not until she could find out some news, any news of Choujuuro or her two youngest. Above her Itachi flew, quietly scouting from the air.
He had already warned her of a few patrols here and there, and she showed these foreigners absolutely no mercy when she encountered them, unable to interrogate them for information on her family.
After the third such incident, Itachi landed on her shoulder, and gently pecked her ear.
“I don’t need your approval for this,” she huffed, “He’s still alive, they’re still alive. I refuse to bury them.” tears formed in her eyes, “It was hard enough…”
Another gentle peck, and he took a strand of hair into his mouth.
She wiped her eyes and stared at the crow, for a second almost seeing her dead lover’s face as he twirled the strand of hair in his fingers.
He took flight, pecking her forehead as he did so, and resumed his patrol from the sky. She nodded, and went back to her search from the ground.
-------------------------------------------------------------
“Mama!” the twins chorused as they hugged her.
They weren’t alone, Mira’s eyes widened in surprise as Neji wrapped his arms around her shoulders, “Don’t you dare do that again,” he whispered, “I can’t lose anyone else in my family.”
Lee and Umbra were next to embrace her, “Mama Mira you can’t…” Umbra sniffed, “Do you realize just how horrible it was to have the barriers go away and have you not be there!”
“Don’t ever let your youth burn so brightly it destroys you again,” Lee nodded.
“I won’t…” she promised, “I’ll figure out some other way to protect…”
“We’ll do it together,” Neji kissed her forehead, then stared at her, “Your hair…”
“I kinda like it,” she smiled, “Gaara said it looked like fire,” she twirled a red-gold strand, “I always wondered where Karin got the blond from.”
Before anyone could say anything more, the door opened again, and the adults looked in shock at the blue-haired nin who entered it.
Strangely, it was the twins who moved first, as it was with Mira.
“Uncle Haru!” they cried, going to hug the man once dubbed as their godfather, giving affectionate kisses to his cheeks.
He looked sadly at Mira and the others, “Gaara wants everyone to get ready for a fight, though he ordered that…”
“You and Mira are staying here then,” Neji nodded in understanding, “And you had something to do with her revival I’m guessing.”
Haru nodded, “Well… not so much me as Sin and Phoenix. I’m not sure the details, but they got us both out of that place,” his eyes saddened for a moment, “At a pretty high sacrifice to themselves.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
It was nearly sunrise, and Yuko was exhausted, she had been climbing these mountain trails outside of Danshoku for almost two days now, not finding any sign at all, almost giving up hope.
Itachi landed on her shoulder again, not able to see anything from the sky. He pecked at her ear again, trying to tell her to rest, that she wasn’t going to find anyone in this state.
“Not yet,” she whispered, “Just a little bit more. He’s around here somewhere, I know it.”
But her words were breathy and she sat down against the rock face, barely able to keep her eyes opened.
There was a small patrol coming and Itachi flapped his wings, trying to get her to move, do something.
No use, her chakra was depleted, her physical strength gone. He squawked, seeing the men come closer, seeing them raise their crossbows to her, recognizing her as one of the enemy, the one who took out previous patrols.
They pulled the triggers.
And suddenly Choujuuro was in front of her, using his sword to deflect the bolts, before quickly going into the attack, dispatching the three Germans in short order.
“Mommy,” Sachiko said as she shook the Mizukage, following right behind in her father’s footsteps.
“She’s out Dada,” Ryuuichi looked up.
Choujuuro gently picked Yuko up, “She must have started searching as soon as she heard,” he said quietly, “Come on kids, let’s take her to the shelter, what’s left of it anyways.”
Both of them nodded and followed the Swordsman back up the mountain.
Itachi watched them for a moment, breathing a slight bit of relief as he took flight.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Gaara looked out over the desert, “Six of them,” he said. Next to him Neji nodded, his byakugaun already looking for weaknesses, “The one in the middle is Madara… but there’s one right behind him that has a very similar chakra nature. Those two are going to be the most difficult.”
“The small force here may not be enough,” the Kazekage mused, “But still… I won’t let there be anymore sacrifice.”
“Is that even possible?” Neji asked quietly.
There was no answer as he felt the winds pick up, the sand move over the dunes towards the incoming Akatsuki.
Even if Kankuro and Karin couldn’t find any of the desert dwellers, even if Yuko’s force returned too late, even if Shane and the rest weren’t coming back…
Even if they were all alone…
He knew that Gaara wouldn’t let Suna fall a second time.

I'll be your Hero
Shane and Naruto awoke, ignoring the fact that the bed was now stained with many white spots, and then put on their clothes. Shane put on a white shirt, with black pants, and white & black shoes. Naruto wore what he had usually worn since he left Europe. It was an orange sleeveless top, with comfortable black jeans. He wore orange and yellow slippers, (flip-flops if you're a lame main-lander, and thongs if you're a koala hugging Aussie. Slippers if you're from Hawaii, like me.) Shane gave him a short kiss on the lips, and walked out the door. Ragnarok was sitting outside of the room, seemingly meditating, but he quickly opened his eyes once Shane exited his room. ''Human.'' He said, in his cold, dark voice, causing Shane to get scared, a little. ''Well, Human? I don't have all ******** year.'' Ragnarok said, angrily.
''I-I'm sorry... Ragnarok, why was Phoenix in the Feymarch? And, Sin? I don't get it... Eidolons never leave their user.'' Shane said, and rubbed the side of his head. ''Ask them then, you fool. I am NOT to be pegged for useless information.'' Ragnarok said, with a snarl. Shane then immediately ran over to Sin's room, and entered without knocking. He walked in to it, and caught Sin doing something Shane was not surprised to see at all. ''I didn't know Eidolons were able.'' He said, causing Sin to jump. ''Oh, hey babe.'' He said, with an awkward smile. ''I'm not your babe. I'm not even Haru's anymore. We broke up, and that's what caused you to be born, is it not?'' Shane said, with a sigh.
''I was not born. I have always been here. Anyways, you're no fun.'' He said, with a frown, but then continued, ''So, what's up?'' He asked.
''Why are you here? And Phoenix? Why are you not dead? And, why was she not with Mira?'' Shane asked, with a raised eyebrow.
''Because Mira died, and Haru is alive.'' Sin said, holding back a smirk. He wanted to scare Shane with news of Mira's death, just to put him straight.
''WHAT?!'' Shane asked, regarding Mira's death. He could already tell Haru was alive.
''But, she came back. Don't be such a pussywagon, blondie.'' Sin said, with a smirk.
''Whatever, creepy Eskimo.'' Shane said, with an annoyed voice.
''What the ******** is an Eskimo?'' Sin asked, raising an eyebrow.
''You. Anyways, Ardniel noted me of something amiss by Sunagakure, so I shall go there. Come along, if you like.'' Shane said, with a smile.
''No, that's alright. I'll find Phoenix. She and I have some catching up to get to.'' Sin said, with a wide grin.
''I... don't want to know. Anyways, Bye then, Sin. Hope we never meet again.'' Shane said, with an evil smirk. He went to his room, and picked Naruto up for a piggie-back ride, as He could not walk very well after the activities from the night before. Shane kissed Naruto on the cheek, and then leaped off, Ragnarok and the others quickly following.
-------------------------------------------------------------
''Eidolons, you stand before me today, to assist me in bringing back this world to the light. Carbuncle, Fenrir, Atomos, Shiva, Hecatoncheir, you will guide me to power. Guide me to GLORY. And that... will demand your sacrifice.'' She said, and quickly summoned her dragon, and had it sweep across the plains, devouring the Eidolons. When the dragon was done swallowing, he spit a bright golden necklace, jeweled with beautiful diamonds, with a sparkling light at the end. Cosmos put on the necklace, and immediately felt her power increase by enlarged amounts. She then began to pray for her lost Eidolons, and for herself. She was the Goddess of all things good, but she never felt more bad.
------------------------------------------------------------
As Shane and the others arrived, flying on Ardniel, over Suna, they witnessed the near destruction of it, as well as Akatsuki, seemingly fighting their allies. In the middle, with the largest chakra signature, was Madara, still holding his mask on. Around him, Deidara, and Kisame. Other opponents were there, also, but not ones he recognized. Aedan slapped his hand onto his griffin, and dissappeared, as well as Kisame. Shortly after, Minato dissappeared as well, along with Deidara. They were now in their own worlds, fighting, and they left the others to deal with Madara, and his weaker lackeys. However, nothing would happen, until Shane was assured that Aedan, and Minato, have won. He dropped to the floor, along with the others, including Ragnarok, and deeply glared into Madara's eyes.
''So, it appears to me that you have achieved Ragnarok. Perfect,'' He said, with a wide smirk. However, he did not reveal why he was smirking. Shane was surprised that he would be happy to see the thing that would end his life.
------------------------------------------------------------
''You are weak, kid. You cannot stand up to me,'' Kisame said, in a dark tone. However, Aedan simply smirked, because he KNEW how easy this was going to be. All of these Akatsuki thought they were some big deal. All of them.. were wrong. At least, considering how powerful Aedan was. Although it seemed to be untrue, he was the most powerful of all. He had never used his full strength, and it was time to do so. He didn't want to waste his time on a little runt like Kisame. ''Scorch,'' He said, as white flames began to surround Kisame, and close in on him. However, he was able to dodge it, only to constantly have lightning strikes, and beams of light shoot him from every direction. A portal appeared above his head, and a golden blade shot right out. He blocked it with Samehada, only to be struck in the center of his stomache with a bolt of lightning.
''You're weak to lightning. It shows. With such limited power against me, you will NEVER win,'' He said, before raising his hand up, readying to use Blitzkreig. However, a giant pool of water began to surround them both, and Kisame turned into a shark. He began to torpedo into Aedan, ready to claw him to death. Aedan avoided his first attack, and then bashed Kisame in the skull with his shield. Shortly after, he began to focus on Kisame, as the white flames once again began to appear. Kisame easily warded them off, but they managed to turn most of the pool into steam. Kisame was burnt a little, and Aedan began to cover his body with chakra, ''Scorch!'' He yelled, although it could barely be heard in this pool, and the white flames began to cover Kisame. However, Kisame's shark-skin, which was actually Samehada, easily devoured the flame chakra.
Aedan managed to escape the pool, only to have a giant water dragon collapse on him. He roared in pain, and Bahamut quickly shot out of a portal, and clawed at Kisame's eyes. He screamed, but only until Ifrit came out, and spewed fire all over Kisame. It was weak, and it didn't do much, but it still hurt like hell. Shortly after, Aedan covered himself in a white, circular ball, which exploded into a giant burst of light. The light figure solidified, and turned into a sun like being. ''Wrath of Cosmos,'' He said, as the ball lighted up into a blinding white color, and quickly scorched the lands. Kisame burned to death, and Aedan smiled, and took his sword. He was sure someone would want this.. [No, Kisame is NOT preserved in the sword. If someone wants Samehada, I will grant it to them, but it must be a water-nin.]
He returned to the regular battlefield, and stood alongside Shane, and the others. However, Minato's battle was still raging on.
------------------------------------------------------------
Minato was unable to get close to Deidara, in fear of being filled with clay bombs. He did not know what to do, for he knew that anywhere there could be a bomb. For now, he hoped, and prayed, that he could do this, without having to use.. that.
''Rasenshuriken!'' He yelled, as he threw a rasengan disc at Deidara, who was on his dragon. He avoided it, and shot out more bombs. Minato flashed away from them, and began to throw explosive kunai. However, Deidara easily avoided those, as well, and smirked, and began to laugh, ''You are not graceful! You cannot beat me with such meager attempts! I fight with art, and that is why I do not ever lose!'' He yelled, and shot out a giant clay bomb at Minato. He didn't know how to escape without somehow triggering some bomb somewhere... so, he finally gave in. ''Ramuh!'' He yelled, as a lightning being appeared, that shielded them both from the blast. Lightning quickly transferred up the flames, and shocked Deidara's dragon. He fell off, as it exploded, and began to make handsigns. His hands were chewing clay, and they suddenly began to spew out a giant version of Deidara. ''Katsu!'' He yelled, as it exploded into a GIANT explosion, that Minato had to use flying thunder god to avoid. He appeared right next to Deidara, and slashed at him. However, he dodged it, and threw several clay birds.
Ramuh sent lightning bolts at the birds, and defused them, as Minato struck, and struck at Deidara, unending, relentlessly. He finally managed to stab him on the shoulder, making him scream in pain. However, Minato quickly noticed that his body felt... odd. And it had another chakra inside of it. ''s**t! THE BOMBS!'' He yelled to himself, before pulling off something desperate. Ramuh touched Minato's back, and sent a giant pulse of lightning throughout his body. It defused the bombs, but Minato was now temporarily paralyzed. It was up to Ramuh to defeat Deidara. A giant lightning strike shot down at Deidara, and nearly disintegrated him. However, he was still alive, and still able to pull off his ultimate move. He took off his shirt, and touched the tongue in the center of his chest. His body began to turn into a clear structure, and you could see his chakra flow. ''I refuse to lose! Katsu!'' He yelled, and exploded into a huge, mile or so radius explosion. Ramuh transported them away, yes, but Minato could not join the fight for a while. Both he and his Eidolon were exhausted, and needed a bit of a rest.
------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, they felt Deidara's life wane, and sighed. However, Minato did not return, so some would think that He died, as well. However, Shane was able to tell that he was alive, for Ragnarok was still complete. If Ramuh was freely roaming, with no owner, then he would temporarily dissipate, until Ramuh was given one. So, with that, they patiently awaited Madara's attack, and his eventual demise. ''Minato's going to be pissed that we killed this b*****d without him,'' He thought, thinking that it was that simple. That Madara would lose, and things would return to normal. It wasn't. Not without a price to be paid, at least.
