Diablo was pleasantly surprised at Andrisa's reaction to his words. He was glad she was going to step out and see what she could see. He was a bit taken aback at the fact that she wanted to travel with him, and yet.l...it seemed like a nice change to his solitude.
"Alright then! We'll adventure together. And I promise Miss Andrisa, to bring you home safe and sound when you're ready." He gave her a smile, "So, shall we depart then?"

"Alright", Andrisa said becoming more calm. This was so exciting! She would finally get to live her dream and see places unknown to her. Meet other Hollows and maybe encounter danger along the way. Finally! Andrisa would be able to be free like she'd always wanted. Why it had never occurred to her to strike out on her own before, she didn't know. Maybe a fear of being alone. But she didn't care anymore. She had a friend to travel with and they would have fun. That's all she really cared about.

"Excellent," Diablo replied. He gave the clearing a good look around, trying to pick a direction they should head in. Eventually he decided that perhaps it'd just be best if he kept straight ahead.
"This way then, let's go." He started into the woods, keeping at a pace Andrisa could easily keep up with,

Following alongside, Andrisa was content to keep up in silence. After a while longer, she began to hum. No particular song, just humming randomly.

Diablo smiled at the humming, glad for the company and the breaking of the silence. It was a lovely change.
Eventually he came across what seemed to be a path in the woods, one way leading somewhere dark, one leading somewhere light.
"Well, well....What a decision..." he chuckled, "Shall we take the path less traveled by? Or follow what we think will be safe?" he turned to Andrisa, "Well my companion, why don't you decide. Either turn's an adventure, it's simply a matter of where and what kind."

Andrisa looked at him and then down each path. "Looks can be deceiving. Although...", she trailed off as she looked towards the lighted path. "I say that way", motioning in the direction of the path. Hopefully nothing will want to eat us, she thought as she started padding along.

Diablo nodded, "The Light path it is then." He walked with her, sensing her unease. He looked at her for a moment before giving a grin, "No worries Andrisa. I promise to return you home safely, no matter what happens."
As they walked on, even though the area was well lit, there was a certain unnerving silence. Diablo kept his eyes on the forest around them, tense over the situation.

Andrisa nodded at her companion's reassurance. As they walked down the path, she began to notice something was a bit off. I think I was right the first time, but I'm hoping not.
"Do you sense something...odd, Diablo?", she asked nervously. She was fairly skittish, but the silence was just so terribly off-putting.

Diablo felt something very odd indeed, but he didn't want to bother his companion with any sort of fear or panic that may arise from his saying yes.
"No," he said cooly, "Well....yes but I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle." So much for that....

Andrisa heard more rustling and closed the space between herself and Diablo. "Is it too late to-WHAT IS THAT!?!", she screamed as something big and nasty and covered in twigs and leaves leaped onto the path before them. Day of Adventure Number One was NOT turning out to be as spiffy as Andrisa thought it would be.
