A loud screech is heard. Shaylyn dove downward and flipped open her wings at the last second. Flying was so effortless, she could go on forever. Of course, that would be stupid. She had a clan to be a part of. She was important, as all clan members were, and was therefore needed. However, she kept her eyes open for anyone of a different clan.
Her Night Vision helped her now, since it was nearing midnight. She didn't see anyone, but that didn't mean no one was there. Broad trees below her allowed for good coverage.

*~Nahoko Kajuji~* Nahoko was sitting up in a tree watching the moon and stars change with the passing of time. Her breathed in a deep breath of the midnight air and let it out slowly. Her arms behind her head against the trunk of the tree, her legs crossed as she stretched along a branch. The leaves moved in the slight breeze as it picked up lazily, her pony tailed hair moving ever so slightly with it.

 A ray of moonlight opened up revealing Leon photas. Stepping out of the moonlight, his wolf fur seemed to shine in the moonlight. His amber eyes gazed up at the princess of his clan. Letting out a sigh that showed in the cold nights air, he began to shift into his human form. He was rather unfond of his human form and prefered his wolf form, but it was easiest to communicate. Kneeling on the ground, looking down at the ground he spoke to the princess.
Princess, I have returned from my patrols. I am pleased to bring you good news. I have not caught scent of any intruders into out territory recently. My patrol is finished, is there anything you wish for me to do, your highness.
A small yawn escaped his mouth. In truth he had patrolled the border for three day's straight, without rest. He was exaughsted but refused to rest. He had been assigned to be the princess's personal guard. Her wish was his command without complaint. He was breathing heavily, and it showed in the night air. He kept his head down, less he risk offending the princess by looking her directly in the eyes. He was not worthy to.

 Melody sat on the limb of an old maple tree and preened her feathers. The cool night air carried a scent of smoke on it, a distant forest fire perhaps clearing out the dried grasses and making way for something new. She carefully cleaned around the jagged scar running down her left wing and let her mind wander back to when she got that scar. The fighting may have reached a bit of a standstill but things were far from peaceful. She heard the cry of a hawk in the distance and took flight to meet up with her clan mate.

 Kira looked around from her vantage point in the tops of a tree. Her blue eyes scanned the area carefully, thick white and silver fur blowing around her carelessly in the wind. Her claws dug roughly into the bark of the tree, keeping her perched on the thin branch as she kept watch. She saw no movement as far as the eye could see, except for plants swaying in the breeze. She let out a soft yawn, then began to work her way down the tree, quickly but carefully. She reached the bottom and phased to her human form, looking around once more before beginning a quick walk away from the tree.

 Kiro ran through the trees, her white pelt glowing in the moonlight. She emerged from the trees, phasing to her human form before continuing forward, yellow eyes fixed on the other two werewolves before her. "Excuse me princess." she said with a bow, before turning to the other standing below her. "Can I have a word, please?" she asked, voice quiet and giving away no emotion. That was typical for Kiro, and was to be expected by the others.

Leon awaited her answer when the bushes rustled behind him. In a split second he had his sword drawn and was in a stance ready to fight. The girl emerged and he let out a sigh of relief, it was only kiro. He smiled and sheathed her sword when she spoke. He suddenly was adressed by her and smiled. He turned back to the princess kneeling down again. Looking at the ground he spoke.
Excuse me princess. I will return briefly, if you need me just call. I will be awaiting your summon.
Leon slowly stood up and faced kiro. "Yes kiro?" He was smiling slightly, and waited to be lead somewhere else to talk.

Kiro nodded to the Princess without looking directly into her eyes then turned and lead Leon into the woods. "I just thought you might like to know, I saw a werecat heading into our territory a few minutes ago. I was going to go confront it if you wish to join me." she stated, voice still betraying nothing. However her bright yellow eyes showed slight excitement at the thought of chasing off the invader. She hoped Leon would accept the invitation, for she was more of a healer than a fighter, so she tended to need others to help her attack.

The second she said werecat Leon let out a sharp growl. He would never let anyone attack someone in his clan. He was in full hunt mode.
Stay here.
Leon was off running threw the trees back to the princess. He knelt down again. He was breathing heavily.
Princess, I am ashamed. I have been informed of a werecat near our territory. I am going off to kill it, along with kiro. I will accept your punishment for my lack of detection upon my return. Farewell.
Leon dashed off towards where kiro was. He arrived near her, and stopped looking at her. His body was shaking as he was resisting the urge to shift.
Tell me where the cat was and I'll go alone. I do not wish for you to get hurt.
Leon stared at her, but let out a yawn. Three days without sleep was starting to wear him down.

"I can't let you go off on your own. What if you get hurt? You'll need a healer." Kiro said when Leon returned, telling her he wanted to go alone.
She looked at him for a few moments before turning away, beginning to lead the way to the cat and phasing mid-stride. Her white fur swirled around her as she began a sprint, not allowing Leon to make her stay. He would be forced to follow, at least until he picked up the scent. But she would worry about that then.

Leon let out a sigh. She was going to make this difficult. He gladly shifted forms and caught up to kiro rather fast. He ran next to her.
You should turn back once I pick up the scent. I don't want you getting hurt. I'm more then capable then handeling a little cat.
Leon ran next to her, not running ahead until he picked up the scent. He wouldn't have time to fool around. He would have to kill the cat fast, and get back.

Shaylyn soared above, and noticed Melody heading towards her. She morphed mid-air, straight into her human form. Laughing, she fell into a tree, landing with precision. "Good evening, Melody." she called from her perch in the tree.
Shaylyn was happy, that is, until she noticed the werewolves below. "Uh-oh." she said flatly, climbing higher. She eventually got to the point where she simply could not move, as she was at the top of the tree.

Kiro didn't say anything when Leon charged ahead of her, however she had the power to go super fast, so she used it. She suddenly passed Leon, looking back at him with a slight grin on her face. She knew he had this power too, and would most likely use it to try and get ahead of her again, but she kept running.

 The vision hit Kira suddenly and she paused for a moment to take it in. Two werewolves were coming for her, but she couldn't make out a face or anything else like surroundings. She paused for a minute to catch her breath, then turned back, running back towards the border, phasing to her cat form as she did so. Her silver and white fur blew flat against her body as she ran.
