My boyfriend and I got each others names tattooed our necks but its unreadable without a fedex scanner. They're in barcode. His says my name, mine says his name. Then if/when we break up no one has to know what it says.
My mom has my name tattooed on her with a rose and then a picture of me on her back. My step dad has his daughters name on his arm.
I will not get a readable name tattooed on me unless its my grandparents, parents, or children on me.

Somebody started talking about memorial tattoos, I think I will too. One of the guys in Shinedown got a memorial tattoo for his cousin. He said eh couldn't remember much about him but what stuck out was playing those old school nintendo games with him, so he got a nintendo themed half sleeve with the old games like mario, paper boy, and punch out. To make it eve more personal his cousins initials are on the paper the paper boy is throwing. Awesome memorial tattoo achieved.

My husband wants to get a name tattoo. I said, "******** no." My father-in-law's girlfriend has her exes name on her wrist, but it could also be her child's name as well so I guess that was smart planning. She also has her currents on her lower back which is my father-in-law. Also my father-in-law has like 3 names of different girls on him....>.> They don't care. She doesn't care he doesn't care. So I don't care. My friend's father has a portrait of his wife on him. They show no signs of divorcing anytime soon which is good luck I guess! I am not a fan of them. I don't want to run that risk.

Never would I get a name tattoo of a significant other.. for children maybe, and maybe a memorial to someone but I likely wouldn't even use their name..
and I seriously LOL'd when I saw 'BRENDA' guy ><
