Neku walked through the disgusting slums, he would have normally sent someone else to buy his food but for whatever reaon he felt like getting out today. Afterall it was nice out, the sun felt warm on his skin and his suit glistened in the sunlight. The two guards by his sides were constantly complaining about the heat and trying to pick a fight with someone around them. Why does Rigibaldi feel the need to send them with me... I'm just heading for some food. He tilted his head up slightly to watch a cloud drift infront of the sun and evaporate. Today was moving so slow...

He glanced over to his right, maybe there was a way to get rid of them after all, without appearing to be disobeying Rigibaldi's wishes.
"You two, head over to the fish market and pick me up 10 Cod and bring them back to Maria, the cook."
"Yes sir Captain Sakur."

Finally some time to think... He walked along the dirt path, keeping a mindful eye for any pick pocketers. Neku noticed a small group of people in the distance. One male, and two female. What are they doing?
He quickly took in his surroundings, and realized. This is the place that bear almost killed me...

Jude took a step back as the two recovered. He felt like he was invading their, their space almost. Even if it were for a 'good' cause though, he was invading. They could have just had some sort of misunderstanding that resulted in threats and violence, that happened to him a lot. He still didn't like the idea of guards. If either one of them had actually alerted them, he'd have been out like a light and on the third street over by then.

He took a small, inward, sigh as the blond stuck out her hand in a shaking gesture. He didn't like dogs, or anything resembling dogs. Probably the cat in him, even if it were a big cat, but she had melded with a big dog; he could sense it. They tended to be reckless and impetuous, or so he'd come to learn. At least they were reaching a consensus. The other took her hand and offered her name. Jude took a look around, scanning the area past the two and then turning his head and taking a look at the crowd behind.
"Damn," he muttered to himself, still looking behind. There, right in the middle of the crowd, stood a man he had hoped he'd never have to see outside of photographs.

The Captain of the guard wasn't a pretty sight to someone like Jude. He was surprised he hadn't run into the man before considering the amounts of times he'd had a face to face with any guard. You can only avoid people for so long. He turned away as soon as the man's gaze swept over them, lingered only a moment, and moved on. He seemed a slight bit preoccupied, but Jude wasn't one to take chances; at least when he wasn't the one who did anything. Besides, the only thing these two could be blamed for was public disturbance, but if a guard came over and somehow figured out he was rebellion, if either of the two women were rebellion, there'd be hell to pay. Even if the Captain didn't suspect anything of them, Jude was a terrible actor. Liar, yes, acting took more skill. All there was to lying was to look the prosecutor straight in the eye and swear on your mother's grave. Piece of cake.

The blond hadn't given a name yet and the other one, Kathryn, still seemed wary.
"We. . .er you, might wanna take this elsewhere. . ." he suggested lightly, taking a step back into their group and nodding back at the Captain. "You may not have called the guards, but someone else might've felt it necessary in the heat of it," he said. He wasn't so sure about someone else calling guards, it was possible, but the fact was, there were guards and the first thing he had to learn about living in Cordon: you don't hang around where guards hang around. Unless, of course, you're looking for trouble. He had to wonder though, why did he care? He could just as easily walk away from them and nothing would happen. He had told himself just that morning not to go looking for trouble, and here he was.

The group of people around him was starting to bug Neku and he didn't like it here. He could see that the rest of the group's gaze had fallen upon the three people out over by the small shack or hut, maybe it was a home of some sort, a building. A simple building with walls barely standing up.

His gaze drifted from one of the members to another. A blonde female, seeming to be more or less involved with the rest of them. A taller, Blonde male who's appearance pulled at him but he couldn't tell where he had seen him before. But the last one, a brunette, female, who almost seemed territorial. Finally this day is picking up. His gaze wandered over the male again as he stepped back and looked over his shoulder. He quickly stepped back into the group and spoke to them, his stance changed slightly. He's probably nervous from being stared at, this is nothing.

Neku continued his walk in the opposite direction. He felt like heading down to the rich district, his district, and looked forward to having some fresh Cod for dinner. He smirked at the thought of it. Overall it was a pretty lazy day.
As Neku walked through the crowds of people he noticed that the other two guards were heading back to him. Joy...

"Captain Sakur, sir, do you have any more requests for us?"
"Just one. Would you please go ask the group of three over by that 'house' a few questions. Do not be assertive about it. I just want names and why they have a crowd gathered to watch them. After this you are dismissed for the night."
The two replied in unison;"Sir yes sir."

As the two pushed through the crowd Neku pressed on. He licked his lips as he passed the fish market and remembered to grab some fruit on the way home.

After the bracing handshake the women shared, the blonde was ready to leave. Any minute now the marks would notice the missing credits and scream for the guards. at the offer of the woman's name, Koda snorted, breathing in that damn cat's spores. She almost coughed instead of speaking. "I'm sorry I can't offer mine in return. We may not be tussling anymore, but it doesn't mean you still can't turn me over. You understand." The coyote had its suspicious side and she did too. Speaking of suspicious, she glanced over at the male that had helped break them up. He was tall, blonde, and strikingly handsome with the two tattoos alongside his nose.

For a moment the coyote started wrestling with her. No, he is not a mate. He is a CAT! Dog versus cat love. Remember that. A whine started to escape her lips before Koda could button her trap up tight. Cats and dogs live together all the time in the special District. I've, no, we've seen it. Great. She was arguing with herself again. Worse, she was rationalizing a slight attraction to a man she couldn't even trust!

Hearing a pair of approaching footsteps through the small crowd, Koda's body snapped rigidly into alert. The heavy, metallic clomps of guard boots' were definitely not this coyote's favorite sound. Warning the other two, she picked up the credit bar that surprisingly hadn't been stolen off the porch by a guild rat. "Don't look. We're about to have company. I hope you two have either escape routes or falsified registration numbers." Koda looked for her own escape out of the corners of her eyes but she was fairly sure the pair had already captured her face with a camera.

((Sorry guys. I just haven't been in a roleplay mood the last few days. I'll pick it up.))

Lt. Lysistrata walked down the road with a smile on her face and the wind in her hair. It felt good to be outside, especially in such perfect weather such as this. Slightly humid, but mostly hot. Even her crocodile side was placated.

Until she walked past a butcher's shop.

Then she remembered that she hadn't eaten in nearly two days.

Sis and the butcher smiled and waved at each other, her humming a small tune all the while. She chose the biggest slices of Bar-B-Qed meat she could find and quickly paid, so she could get to eating faster. Sis wandered around for a bit before finding the perfect place to sit down and eat her delicious God-sent meat. Digging in, her fangs ripping through it in seconds, she was done in a matter of five minutes.

Then she sat back and relaxed, feeling completely happy, until some moron kicked dirt in her face, and then didn't even bother to apologize.

Her small smile turned into a terrifying grin-she now had an excuse to punish him. Sis wasn't happy anymore; she was ecstatic.

Neku walked past the different Meld's in the district. He could name them all; sparrow, cougar, wolf, fox, tiger, eagle. They never stopped coming. He noticed that in his thoughts he had walked past the fruit stand. He made a quick 180 and doubled back. "I need 12 red apples, 9 oranges, and 2 things of bannannas."

Neku paid and continued his journey towards home. As he passed the butcher shop he noticed the Lieutenant with that grin of hers. I do not envy whoever just pissed her off. Maybe I can save him his arm.

"Lieutenant Lysistrata, I'm heading off to my house to put these groceries away. Would you mind helping? We can catch up."

"Oh, Captain Sekur! What a pleasant surprise." Sis cried out cheerfully, casually dislocating the the shoulder of the man who had kicked dirt in her face as she walked passed, giggling at his expense. "I would love to help you with your groceries."

'You get off easy this time, child,' she thought, giving a tight smile and a glare at the man with the dislocated shoulder, 'Next time I see you your legs are going to become new-age art.'

"Are those apples?" she asked as she came closer, once again the smiling, cheerfully innocent young woman she had been earlier.

Neku laughed at her attempt to cover up the man's torture. Could have been worse. He could have lost the damned thing."Are those Apples?"
"Yes, yes they are. Did you want one? You can carry this bag." He said as he held out the bag of apples. "So, what have you been up to, and what is your position on fish?"

The two guards approached the group. The audience had grown in size at the sight of the guards, in hopes of a good fight. Both guards walked casually up to the three as the blonde woman went to porch and back. The first guard spoke up in a loud and demanding voice; "You three, what are your names and what are you doing."
The second guard walked to the other side of the group waiting for any sign of a fight.

Sis's smile grew broader as she snatched the bag of apples. It was one of her favorites! Well, any food was, really. Meat was absolute, though.

Unless it was a person once. Contrary to certain rumours that she had eaten people before, Sis didn't partake in cannibalism.

"I love fish!" She answered cheerfully, her eyes lighting up, "And I haven't really been up to much, just following orders and the such. Of course, I get my days off, and on those I sleep mostly...
and torment the underlings..."It wasn't really tormenting, per-say, it was more...causing them to regret being anywhere near her. Tabasco sauce in their food, supergluing the skin on their wrists to the tables when they fell asleep, accidentally breaking a bone or two...

The walls of the rich district could be seen in the near distance. Almost home. Neku glanced over at Lysistrata as she finished the apple in her hand. Finally some of the more respectable looking people walked past him. He could see men and women walking through the gates with guards at thier sides and servants abiding to their will.

"Almost there. As soon as we get past those gates we can keep going straight and then take a right, we'll be at the gates of Manor Sakur. You're welcome to come in and stay for dinner, I just got some new Cod, and the cook is fantastic."

Neku smirked as he watched a child trying to follow his father out into the streets hiding behind the guards at his father's back. He rememberd the group further back in the slums. The blonde male, the tattoos under his eyes. Jude, Jude Galdrin... finally.

OoC: My mind has been so dead for roleplaying lately, sorry.

Her fist dove into the glass, shattering it. Pieces were stuck into her knuckles, blood trickling down her arm. She pulled at the piece of the glass. Taking them off the frame, she needed and exit and she needed one now. Pulling at the glass, her cuts ran deeper, but she didn't care. Once the glass was out, she hoisted her self up and climbed through the window. It'd been a basement window, so she rolled out onto the street. She breathed heavily, as she stood. She was covered in dirt, and blood. She'd been thrown into the basement, by some random guy. Her butt her from landing. She was tempted to rub it, but then her pants would be coated in red. With a deep heavy sigh, she headed down the road.

A little blood trail followed her as she made her way through the busy streets to her small, broken down home. The people looked at her with fear, glancing at the dirt covered face, bloody hands and some what blood stained hair. She looked like a mess, but it was no time to care for her looks, she was loosing much blood, and her vision was growing dizzy. August found a bench, she sat down on it and looked at her torn up hands. She began pulling the glass from her wounds.

Jude was getting annoyed now. The two just didn't get it. They just stood there, like children at a light show: Whaaaa? He was sure they weren't really that dull, maybe he was just getting a bit overzealous. The big cat was too cautious at the wrong times, too jumpy and yet, too blind and too headstrong to be careful at others. He took a short glance behind again, Good, he's moving on, he thought, seeing the Captain walking off with another guard. He started to calm down a bit. If he had a tail like any other cat, it would have been hairs on end the entire time, just now flattening out again. But he didn't have a tail, so no one could see this angst.

Then it theoretically fluffed out again, mind in a rush to get out of there, feet wanting so badly to listen to it. Jude couldn't thank the crowd that had gathered. The show was over. Go home, kids, go home. There's nothing to see. Not anymore. The two lackey guards were on their way over.

'You three, what are your names and what are you doing?' the first asked in a harsh croak.
"Nothing, we're moving on." he found himself saying without turning around for fear of being recognized. He gave the women a wide-eyed we. need. to. go. now. look which quickly disappeared when the second guard wandered around the group to the opposite side, like he was cornering them, rounding them up. It didn't make Jude feel safe, not like the 'police' were supposed to way back when.

"We're just passin' through, a little friendly rivalry. No harm's gonna come from us, been friends for a long time." He spun his tale quickly, trying to make it blend seamlessly together so it sounded authentic. Like he hadn't had to decide what to say first, like he'd blurted it out. He still wasn't looking at the first guard. There was nothing he could do about the second, he'd already taken full study of the three of them, so that's who he told his lies to. They seemed like younger generation guards, more susceptible to mistakes.

The place reeked of rich conceit and moral poverty. The moral poverty part didn't really bother Sis so much as the rich part. That part made her want to vomit. The rich sickened her. Sis would have rather been in a place full of victi-other guards to feel more at home. Places like rich neighborhoods tended to rub her the wrong way. Just a bunch of weaklings pretending to be someone when they weren't. She hated people like that. Sis also had a rather difficult time grasping how waving around a piece of paper and saying your name was supposed to stop people from hating you. It didn't make any sense-a piece of paper wasn't a very good shield against getting slugged in the face. But she understood that as much as she hated it, she had to put up with it and play nice, or get in trouble.

She hated the rich so much.

But then again...free food...

"Sounds good." she grinned, clutching the bag a little closer to her.

Sofia walked down the street to see two guards and a small group made up of three people. Cocking her head to the side she watched more intently as she walked with bag in her hand . She had heard the blond man talking to the second guard. The lion part of her had clearly screamed out in her head 'Cheetah' As she approached the group. She could also feel the uneasiness he was giving off. Wanting to help the man out she quickly stepped forward looking at the blond. "Oh!! Hey I've been looking all over the place for you bud..." she said with a smile to the stranger then turned her head to look at the guard and she let her eyes fill with confusion as the wind blew her long golden blond locks around and her golden amber eyes help her play innocent. She turned to look at the blond older looking stranger. "Ive been waiting by the flower shop like you to me too...Two full hours and you've been here rough housing with the whole gang,Your so unfair!" She wined as she acted and from the corner of her eyes she could see the look in the guards eyes. It seemed her act was helping because the gaurds where starting to back off a bit.

{I hope its okay wiith you I kinda just jupmed in. I'm a bit new here.}
