xXdemonic_mouseXx I play piano, guitar, both kinds of bass, cello, violin, and drums. To make up for it, I can't play sports. Yeah.
My favorite band is Modest Mouse. "Woah that's awesome! you can be a one person band. All I can play is an ocarina but I'm willing to learn flute or Clarinet. I love wind instruments but sadly my laziness holds me down to mastering the Ocarina.

I love linkin park, 3 days grace, flyleaf, sixx a.m. and skillet. I am listening to those bands the most lately. I play guitar, violin, and a bit of piano but its been a while with piano dont remember the notes as much anymore.

Is there a song that's popular that you absolutely can't stand? I have at least 3 and each one has it's own reason and story.
1. Soulja Boy by Soulja Boy- I hate this song because it is nothing but a couple lines getting repeated over and over and over again. It's lame and it makes my ears feel like burning whenever it comes on. Plus half of the lyrics i can't even understand.
2. Hey There Delilah by Plain White T's- I hate this song because originally I liked this song at first. However, it grew so popular that soon I couldn't get away from it. Everywhere I went I kept hearing this song. In fact one time I turned to 4 different stations on the radio and each one was playing this song. I heard it so often that i began to hate it. I grew complete hatred for this song when even at a local hockey rink they would play it when the home team scored. After that I wanted to erase all traces of this song.
3. Toxic by Britney Spears- I hate this song because of the violins in it. The song creeped me out with the violins but then Britney's girly voice turned it into a nightmare. The sad thing about this is that even though i tried to avoid it. It was catchy enough to stay stuck in my head. I'd be doing homework and all of a sudden I'd catch myself singing the chorus of that song. It got so bad that I would have nightmares with the song playing in the background. Since then that song gives me goosebumps if i even hear it.
Now that you know a couple of mine what about your experiences in songs you don't like?

Have you heard of Float On by Modest Mouse? Its on Rockband. But anyway, its by my favorite band, but I hate it because everyone loves it, and they have no idea who its by. Its only popular because of Rockband, and its one of their worst songs anyways.

I just heard that song. It's got a catchy beat but...yeah I see why you don't like it. It can get repetitive and the way some of the words are slurred sounds annoying.

Songs I don't like? I can name soooooooooooo many, but I'll narrow it down to three.
1- Teardrops On My guitar (Taylor Swift) ~ I pretty much hate her music in general, but this one's the worst. It's such a horrible premise. A girl has loved this guy since the begining of time essentially, but he likes another. I say get over it, and move on to something more interesting.
2- Barbie Girl (Aqua) ~ The only relatively good thing about this song is it's status as a song of mocking. That's it. The song itself is just anoying. The girl who sings it has an extremely high pitched voice, that's borderline nasaly. It's just painful to listen to.
3- Best of Both Worlds (Hannah Montana) ~ Instead of asking me why I hate this song, ask me why I DON'T hate this song. Trust me, you'll get a much shorter answer.

Hm... a list of songs a don't like...
1. Polly (Nirvana)- I don't like Nirvana in general. Leave me alone about it. I find thier music dull and whiny. This song, is the dullest, whiniest of them all. Beyond boring. I only like one or two songs from this band. Other than that, I believe they are a complete fail.
2. Use Somebody (Kings of Leon)- Now, for some reason, I like this band. For some, unexplainable reason. Or maybe, I just like that one song, 'Sex on Fire'. But this song is just... I'm not sure how to describe it... lame? Especially the part where he sings 'use somebody'. It sounds like somebody just kicked him in the b*lls.
3. Poker Face (Lady Gaga)- Okay, I will admit, I like Lady Gaga. I like most of her music. But this song bothers me. Not from a listener perspective, but from the point of view of a producer. The layout is just all wrong, instrumentation could have been done better, and I sure as hell would have made her change up the chorus. That's all I'm going to say about this one.

I hated "Can't Get You Out of My Head" or whatever it was called by whoever that woman was. That thing was stuck in my head--day and night--for over two weeks! "Irreplaceable" and "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce... Oh, that reminds me of artists I absolutely hate: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers (those lame, talentless f**ks of society). I don't care much for Taylor Swift either, but I think its really just the genre that she sings that I hate so much. But I digress. 4 Minutes by Madonna is another one.

SanDiegoWolf 1970s band Sweet-definately, no contest I know only one song by them and that's Love Is Like Oxygen. And I love it!! The chorus gets stuck in my head sometimes.
