Despite a first glance at the Angel which would tell a person he was quite smooth and cool about things, Celtran was actually very preturbed by the crowds here and the fact that he couldn't walk two feet without bumping elbows or even his hard chest with someone. Though it intrigued him to hear of the "Tennis Club" they'd just left, how it was not a place for living. Interesting.

"Bus." Celtran said blankly, staring up at a flashing screen high on a building before them. His milky eyes danced across the motion pictures that screamed commercial products and "All New Seasons of the Office!" (however, in Japanese, which took him a moment to process) down at the people walking hurriedly below. Though the blanched irises were quickly diverted back to the human, as he just couldn't take his mind off the boy for a second. So fleeting, these people were.

"It's big, this place." he murmured and felt a stinging pity for this race, though he knew it was quite unpolite, being a higher being and whatnot. Ryouma didn't seem bothered, however, and in fact was quite content with his standing and looking about, waiting for... the "bus", whatever that was. Though Celtran, like all Angels, learned very quickly. The screens above had already taught him about coffee shops, which were comparetive to Kobels in Greecian times, the last he was to glance at the Earth. "Maybe you would like to get a drink, Ryouma." he suggested, standing behind the boy like some guard. Well, made sense, as he was a guardian Angel. But he figured he could get to that later. Right now he just wanted to get to know the other.

Looking down at Ryouma once more (it became an every five second thing), he took in the appearance now that the other was relieved of his tennis outfit. Still short as ever, small framed, though tough looking. He had the air of someone who could handle himself, despite his size. Those pretty, almost flaxen, eyes of his were wide and expiramental, though hazed a bit by the feel of routine in the daily life of a crowded city. Oh how Celtran wanted to know so much more!

For the most, the angel stayed quiet, observing with keen eyes without much care of the passerbyes staring. He waited for Ryouma to process his suggestion for a refreshment.

User ImageRyouma barely resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the man's seeming lack of common knowledge. He was an odd guy, and Ryouma wondered if the man wasn't a little slow in the head.

"Iie. I don't need a drink right now.." He replied to the question, eyebrow arched again when he noticed the other acting all protective of him. He felt an oncoming annoyed tick in his eyebrow at that. He wasn't some weakling that needed protecting!

And yet, it kind of felt nice to have Celtran watching over him from so close. It was odd, and he didn't like odd things. Maybe a good nights sleep could clear things up for him.

He saw the bus stopping in front of him, and grabbed Celtran's arm in case the other was spacing out. Then he proceeded to pull the other along as he boarded the bus and paid for Celtran's bus fair after flashing his bus pass to the driver.

He then found the two of them open seats, luckily the bus was nearly empty at the moment and seats were fairly abundant. He kept glancing at Celtran, somehow never at the same time as Celtran glanced at him. Their eyes met only once, with Ryouma turning his head to look out the window to try hide the sudden flush that colored his cheeks.

He liked the small amount of color that came to Ryouma's face; it made him feel warm inside. The kid was so cute, it was just impossible not to notice. Celtran was a bit surprised when the bus started up and carried them off, but again, he was a fast learner and quickly lost all jitters of the moving vehicle. At least there weren't that many people on the bus, which mean he wouldn't have to shout over a crowd just to speak to Ryouma.

Reaching out to touch the boy by himself for the first time, Celtran ran a finger along the nape of his neck, finding it was the most energized, now looking back at the beautiful energy the boy was pouring out. Meant the other was nervous. A small smile came to Celtran's face and after the light brush of his finger, he returned his hands to his lap. Though he wanted very much to grab his cheeks and soak up the powerful aura. His finger tingled from the contact, glowing a bit. "You're everything I expected." he admitted, using the other's native language. "In fact, you're everything I had hoped for. Please don't be uncomfortable, but I've been waiting to see you for a very long time now." As an Angel, always truthful.

He shivered at the light touch from the older man. It lit a fire in him that he found scary in its intensity. Ryouma's face darkened even more at the touch. Celtran's words, however, made him freeze. He looked into Celtran's face to try reading the meaning in his words.

How could he have been waiting to meet him? And how long did he mean when he said a very long time? It was disconcerting, that someone he hadn't known existed until that day would be wanting to meet him... and he had a feeling that Celtran was not one of his fan's.

It was also confusing that the other had been expecting him to be as he was, that he was as the other had hoped for. However, the questions were best to be asked when it was just the two of them.

He was less comfortable with the idea of having Celtran around his place, but the sensation of his hand on Ryouma's cheek was still there. He couldn't bring himself to ask that Celtran find a hotel to sleep at. He still had no idea that Celtran wasn't human... but he was beginning to wonder what, not who, Celtran really was.

He also had the feeling that he didn't really want to know... But he was curious as a kitten, and often got into trouble because of it. Celtran was an enigma that he felt driven to figure out.

The bus traveled on. Celtran didn't even feel the need to talk after saying what he meant before, content with the silence from the other. God, though I have betrayed You, please, let your Angel watch over his human until the last breath is drawn from his chest. he silently prayed as his hands came to rest on his chest, over his thumping, golden heart. And let me learn to live as he lives...

His wings ached, and he was dying to let them out - well, as an Angel, this was figurative. But he held back, just as he did with his holy energy, as he knew that would only bring great disorder and he didn't want God (if He hadn't already noticed one of his Arch Guardian Angels missing) to take cognizance on this city. That would be bad. Very, very bad. Like Holy-Bolt-of-Lightening-and-Hurricanes bad.

Bouncing with the bumps of the bus, which were stopping from time to time to relieve them of other passengers, the two were still as silent as the dead, looking outward for something to talk about. But all Celtran could think of was Ryouma. That was all he wanted to think about, all he ever wanted to discuss, the only person that meant anything right then. Sitting right next to him, probably wondering who the hell he was and what the hell he wanted with him.

After what felt like a millennium (and trust this, Celtran knew what one felt like), the passing buildings became less exuberant and Ryouma's home stop came into view. "Stop 112. Please exit at right door." the conductor said through the microphone and Celtran looked about, strange eyes taking in the landscape.

Ryouma watched Celtran's actions from the corner of his eyes, head still turned to look outward. They were close to his stop, it was the second-last one this bus took. Celtran seemed uncomfortable slightly, but Ryouma only figured it was because of the silence, as he was a quiet guy when not reading scripts for whatever anime he was a voice actor for.

His stop was called and Ryouma stood, grabbing hold of Celtran once more. It was an unconscious gesture that was becoming habit. As though he needed the physical contact with the strange man. He shrugged those thoughts aside and got off the bus, casually waving a farewell to the bus driver. He regularly used this bus, so the man knew him well enough to merit a greeting or farewell from the young adult.

They were now in an area of Tokyo that had many fancy houses, belonging to the wealthy businessmen, actors, musicians.. and anyone with enough cash to own such marvelous homes outside of the main residential area's of Tokyo. His house was conveniently close by, and he led(read: dragged) Celtran to it.

"Home sweet home." He mumbled in Japanese, reaching for the key to unlock the front gate. He walked up the drive-way and stopped in front of the front door. There was a number-pad lock, which he pressed the code for before opening the door.

His house, though not as large as the others along the street, was more spacious than he really needed when it was just him. They were standing in a hallway, which had doors and open doorways leading to the main floor rooms. A staircase down near the end of the hallway would bring you to another set of rooms.

The living room, which was actually near the back, was wide, open, and rose to the second floor where there was a interior balcony over-looking the room. The back wall had large glass windows and a glass door that led into the backyard. There was a wide patio, with a table set with three chairs and an out-door grill. A garden and small koi pond rested beside the deck. Mostly the garden possessed herbs used in tea's or as food flavoring, but there were a few decorative flowers as well.

Ryouma turned to the man behind him, noticing that he still held his hand, and gave him a look that dared him to try lying or avoiding the questions he asked.

"Alright... Who are you? No... What are you? And Why were you waiting for me?" He stopped there, to give the other time to answer. There was more that he wanted to know, like why he felt some kind of connection to the taller male though he'd only met him mere hours ago.

Celtran was amazed by the amount of space that the young man had for his home, and how old could this boy be? Certainly older than he looked, but still....Oh well, who was he to judge? An Angel, that's what. And not a very educated-in-human-resources Angel at that.

Returning his gaze from the large room with its high ceilings, down to the one standing next to him, Celtran's face stayed quite blank. He was expecting this, but as an Angel he also could not lie. A thing about God's creatures: They are valiant, pure and true, and also very conniving, withdrawing sneaks. But Celtran found no reason to lie, though maybe a bit to keep back until he was sure that Ryouma could truly handle it.

Thinking for just a moment, he put the hand not being held into his pocket and leaned to one hip. The other was so warm from the other's grip and still with his own special way, he could see their energies mingling there, strengthening. "Ryouma," he couldn't get enough of the name and it fell like beauty from his tongue. "I am Celtran. And that is my only name. I am your protector. I am here for only your sake. Why?" He smiled. "Because I need you. I cannot be away any longer, I cannot wait. I have been told tales about you since I was first created, taunted with the idea that I might one day meet you. So I've taken it upon myself to find you on my own. To actually see you. Even if it means....damning me." his small smile turned grim and his eyes lowered. Then they popped back up. "But as long as I can protect you. That, Ryouma, is my goal in your life."

The answer was less than satisfactory. His glare said as much. "What, you're like my guardian angel?" His tone was clearly disbelieving, but he felt himself actually willing to believe it.

"I'll ask again, WHAT are you?" He wanted a straight answer. He felt tired, as it was getting late, but he wanted a full explanation before he went to bed.

That brought a smile to the Angel's dark skinned face. What a good guess. Oh well, it looked like his little human was going to have to be ill-made with him after all. Peeking out from behind his chocolate colored bangs, the white eyes smiled all in themselves at Ryouma. What a determined creature Ryouma was. "I am whatever you want me to be, Ryouma." he answered plainly, and there was utter truth in that statement. "I am sorry if that isn't enough. But that is all you will need to know." For now.

Ryouma huffed angrily, realizing that was the best he would get for the time being.

"Fine. Speak in riddles...henteko-yatsu" He huffed angrily again. "You can sleep on the couch or in a guest room, your choice." Not waiting for the other to reply, Ryouma turned and walked up the stairs leading to the next floor.

He opened a door that led into a plain-looking bedroom. "This is the guest room you can use." he called to Celtran before continuing down the walk-way to a room at the far end. It was a much more personalized bedroom. From the size, it was clear that this was his master bedroom.

His bed was large and set into a depression in a raised section of the room's floor. A walk-in closet on the left was visible from the doorway, and a nightstand sat beside the bed on the raised floor with steps leading up to it. The floor was a dark Mahogany and Black Walnut, blended in a diamond-shaped checkerboard pattern.

The walls were lighter, and green-gray. His bed sheets were also green, but much darker and a richer fabric was used for them. The room was warm thanks to the central heating he had, so the sheets were only light ones. A door on the right led into the master bathroom. It was in softer sea-foam greens and pale teals and whites. It had a tub, shower, toilet and sink, with a medicine cabinet behind the mirror above the sink.

Celtran, having followed Ryouma to the master room, stood at the doorway, eyes wide and staring around. This was definitely more than expected. So strange was the design of these modern homes, but it wasn't long before the insipid eyes began to understand the connections in ideas and color. It was actually somehow...coordinated. Celtran loved it. Why can't heaven be like this? he wondered.

"This is quite a room." he commented, still dancing his sights around until they finally landed on Ryouma, who was standing in the middle of said-room. Another, well hidden smile graced his lips. Forgetting the wonderfully constructed designs of the house, Celtran wanted to know more about Ryouma. "What do you do?" he asked, leaning lightly against the door, though in his mind he somehow wondered if he'd even understand it in the fist place. He'd hardly spent fifty-five hours on this little planet.

Ryouma turned to face Celtran, clearly surprised that the other had followed him into his room. He inclined his head as the only sign of having heard the comment about his room. The question caught him off guard slightly.

"I'm a voice actor...for anime's and a few video games occasionally. Why do you ask?" He was curious. There was an annoying need to learn more about Celtran, despite how evasive he'd been when answering the question about his true identity.

What kind of cheesy line is "I am whatever you want me to be." anyway? Really, you'd think a guardian angel, if that is what Celtran really is anyway, would be less elusive with answers. Especially if it was the human they were watching over that was asking.

"Go sleep in another room.. or do you Angels not need sleep?" He asked sarcastically, remembering the little information Christianity taught about Angels.

"No, they really don't." Celtran said truthfully. "They wander around in Heaven, doing chores, working or lying about, but they can sleep on Earth. But I don't know how much good it does them." Obviously his tone wasn't sarcastic nor did it hint a joke, because he was absolutely serious. Of course, it wasn't really helping his 'under-cover-as-of-the-moment' act, but he felt that Ryouma's question needed answered quite correctly.

Thinking about what the Japanese boy had said before, a frown came upon his expression, though due to his lack of wrinkles or blemishes, hardly any lines spawned from this and one could hardly say it was a real frown. "Voice actor..." That part was easy to understand. He knew was a voice was, as well as an actor. But...anime? He surfed through his memories and Angel knowledge, but came up with nothing. "Ryouma, what are video games and anime?" Again with the name. How he was starting to love it so! "I can't seem to understand that. Voice acting....Is that like the little voice on the vehicle module?" Radio. "Or on the moving pictures?" Easy guess.

"[seriously?]" he exclaimed quietly. Celtran had nochalantly talked about what Angels did up in heaven.. The tone Celtran used was not a joking one, and once again Ryouma found himself willing to believe the other.

He gave Celtran and incredulous look... He barely resisted the urge to roll his eyes when Celtran tried figuring out what anime and video games were. "Yes, moving picture.. only instead of having real people like movies or plays, they use drawings."

He had a collection of anime's that Celtran could watch if that was not a good enough explanation. His voice was actually used for a few of the characters in most of them as well. The perk of being a voice actor is you get a copy of the anime's before they even go on sale.

((not sure on that detail... but I say that's how it works for Ryouma.. oh, and if i use [] around spoken words, it means he's saying something in Japanese, but I don't know how to write it in Japanese.))

As Celtran processed this information, he'd moved into the room. Okay, so anime was moving pictures that people drew. Easy enough. Coming to the concept quite easily, Celtran nodded and returned to his process of looking around the room. Content with it as he ever could be, he moved the studious gaze upon Ryouma once more. It was then that reality faced him once more and he grasped that he'd actually succeeded. That he'd found his human. His soul-mate.

"Well," he said quietly, quite personally pleased and filled with heartbreaking love for the human. Stepping closer, he continued to look the other in the eye. "It is dark. Sleep is necessary at dark. I'll leave you to it, Ryouma." Now hardly two feet away from the shorter one, Celtran lifted lightly glowing hands and cupped Ryouma's soft face in them, closing his eyes. A wave of power and connection flowed into him, like water being poured into a glass, steadily filling his soul up. And as if he was dehydrated, he souped it up. All the centuries of having been seperated, he was indeed dying inside for this human. How important Ryouma was for an Angel's happiness, God's happiness. Celtran had a feeling Ryouma could change the world, and the next.

"Goodnight, then. Ryouma." he said quietly then, withdrawing. Backing towards the door, he waved solemnly, the glow gone once more, and retreated. It may have been odd, but Celtran figured he deserved it, after such a long, long time without.

((Quite fine, quite fine. Got it.))
