All the men got frightened crazily and ran for their weapons."Defensive positions!" Grant yelled to his men, trying to get his gun set. He looked over to the female creature, seeing that she was frightened and couldn't fight the lizard like creature. He ran over to where she was and stood in front of her."Get back! We got this!" He yelled to her, hoping she understood what he said. He then looked back to the lizard and fired his gun at it, hoping to injure it. Several of the men grabbed any weapons they could find, even a tank and a heavy machine gun, firing crazily at it.

She backed up so she wouldnt get hit. the others started to fight against the creature, it didn't seem to even slow it down. she grabs his knife from his hip and smiles at him turning to the creature. she backs up acouple steps then runs at it jumping up landing on its back stabbing the knife down into the skull killing it. as it died it wriggled her off throwing her into a box and knocking her out.

Grant and the other men watched as the female creature suddenly took Grant's knife and jumped up to the lizard, stabbing it straight into it's skull, killing it. Several men cheered, until the creature flung the alien off to the side, knocking her out."Help her out! Get a medic out here!" He yelled loudly. Two men went over to where she was and carefully placed her on to a stretcher and carried her towards the medic's tent. Grant ran after them as well.

She had only a small cut on her cheek she seemed fine and the medic was able to make sure she was all ok. he figured the hit just knocked her out but didn't break anything.
her people had realized she was gone and they where quietly looking for her. most where waiting for sunlight for them to venture too far into the woods.

Grant heard the news about the alien being not badly injured and sighed abit of relief, thanking the doctor for her safety. He slowly walked in the tent she was in and looked to her as she laid in the cot, still unconscious. He was glad she was alright.

She moved in her sleep. her father was trying to mentally contact her and it was giving her nightmares. her body shivers as it tried to fight back her fathers mind. thankfully she was able to block out all memories of where she was so her people would not be able to follow her.

Grant watched her as she shivered, probably from nightmares. He hoped she would get better soon, because he was worried if she had a family and probably a tribe along with her. ((He's a Captain.))

"Captain.. When i was making sure she was ok she seemed to have a very advanced brain. You ran after her earlier did you not?" the doctor said standing next to him watching her rest.

Grant looked to the doctor and repeated,"Advanced brain?" He thought for a moment about the message the doctor gave him and now realized that the moment with the alien out in the forest was all but real. She really was trying to communicate with him, trying to talk with him, somehow. He wasn't sure, but before he could think about anymore, he heard the doctors question."Yes, I did, why do you ask?"

he smiles "Well Did you speak with her?" he watches her as she sleeps "If you did, it would be the first time we would of spoken to the natives of this place."

Grant thought about it and slightly shrugged his shoulders."I'm not sure....I may have, but the creature couldn't speak back to me physically. I heard a voice from my head, that sounded female, but I did not know where it came from...." He said to the doctor, unsure if the alien really did speak to him, or if he was really hearing things.

the doctor was about to say something when she gasped opening her eyes sitting up some and looking around, when she saw them she smiles softly "Thank you" she spoke and the doctor's mouth dropped.

Grant was surprised by the sudden awakening of the alien creature. He looked to the female with surprise and heard her speak, surprised by that as well."Uh....y-your welcome....You can speak our language?" He asked her curiously, looking at her.

She sat up and tapped her head "You where thinking it before, I learned that way..." she slowly gets up alittle scared of where she was.

Grant nodded, seeing her tap her head."You must be telepathic? Because you can go into people's minds, right?" He asked her curiously, wondering if his assumption was correct.
