XzepherOnyX And yet I have a hunch its a singular individual that is Tsking. Though that is entirely up to speculation. Odd, I feel the same thing about this. First of all: This is win: "And the constant state of fantasy streetwalker wear and auctioning off dates could be seen as prostitution. " xd Second: Like Lang said, we don't need to post there. Third: In the very least, we can always give in a bit and cool down a little. Keep fooling around without the usual sorts of remarks that lead us here the first place.

I dont want to be involved in a two person tiff. -_- Hell brings up a good point, though. Toning things down to suit their rules isn't such a bad thing.

Well it isn't just one person acting like this. I know for a fact that it is at least two, maybe three depending on memory. And I know who is doing what for the most part, I don't know everything but I do know enough to be annoyed.
As for not posting there, plain and simple, I refuse to be allies with people I can't trust or be comfortable around. I just won't do it. If I can't consider my allies friends, I don't want them. Trust is huge with me. If I can't trust you, I don't want to be anywhere near you.
As for toning it down... Here is the thing, every instance has been something started on their end and how it was cracked down made both Lynn and I uncomfortable. Apparently from what my source says, they are getting tons of OMGPERVERTEDSHIT complaints on their own people constantly and are thinking of retconning their rules since it is starting to piss them off.
While this is going to be a petty sounding statement, I am what I am and if I have to fake something, I would rather just not bother. I am laid back until I am ******** with. Well, this is ******** with me hence the problem.

And as you say. If you cannot trust us you dont want us to be around. Thus a list of names would possibly help us be "careful" if we are to keep the alliance.

I actually trust my clan. I have yet to have any real problems with the attitude of my members in recent memory. My problem is that they apparently have a ******** of people lurking and playing moral Gestapo using rules that boggle my mind.

Well, if the general opinion of this issue is already set, then whatever has to happen will happen.
If they piss DW and Lynn off, then it doesnt really need to be discussed because the end results probably won't differ much after the crew throws in their 2 cents.
I dont really know what's going on, wasn't involved, don't have the full details and probably don't need to know them at this point.

Im with the scary knight with the sexy siggy! ninja
I do know that there have been some hidden problems that stem from misinformation. And as we know misinformation does destroy alliances and friendships. I do not think that Dw or any clan member has to "watch their backs" But if the DoG rules were clear and respected. As I assume they are, then there should be no problem. If the problems stem from the fact that they are fixing their rules then this matter should resolve itself with the completion of said rules. If not then obviously there is something wrong internally with said members.
From my information their clan will discipline their members if there is something needed to be said for instance if something is taken as cybering. The sister will be warned but the non clan member will not have anything wrong delt to them. At least as far as I know. It is settled internally. Now the current state of affairs I do not know what is going on completely. But if a non clan member or affiliate steps out of line they will apparently be PM'ed about it. Is this not correct?
Dw I dont know exactly what it is this is for as usually you only stop alliances if something bad happens. And by then there is no reason to discuss the matter. Now if you are wanting to hear the words of your underlings then I understand. yet I remain as confused as ever. sweatdrop
The only thing that remains clear to me is this whole "To stay in our clan the other clan you are with must be an affiliate" crap. This kinda pisses me off a little. So what if we stop the alliance then Lang, Twili, etc will be banned from their clan? This is idiocy. Forcing a person to choose one guild or the other?
I think we need to refocus on why we are allianced with DoG. And what effects could occur if we lose that alliance. Then again I am like stated earlier confused.

And that is the thing, I haven't really seen anything to have a fit about from their end. I pretty much get their premise of their rules but I don't get how they apply them. It is uneven and uncomfortable.
As for Langley's comment, if I didn't give a s**t about your opinion, there wouldn't be a discussion. I am not as stupidly stubborn as you seem to think I am so I do want to get opinion and commentary before I take any action. I still haven't taken any action so chill with the whole your voice doesn't matter crap. I am actually unsure of what steps I want to take which is why we are here. confused
Zepher, that is another reason I made sure to have a discussion on this instead of a knee jerk reaction. Hell, I don't even have a knee jerk reaction since I am only uneasy about how things are going. I know that my decision affects dual membership and while that annoys me, I remain sensitive to the fact.
So yea, the discussion remains open as I wait to hear more back on the matter from them and all of you who are checking into things.

When there is a decision, I can just make it. However, I want discussion so I have enough perspectives to make an intelligent decision. So yea, I will make the call but I do want input. XD
So don't worry about a vote, just worry about getting all of our facts straight so I can make the best decision possible and be able to justify it. I hate people that throw the Because I said so crap so I want to avoid doing things like that.
Hence I like my crew. 3nodding

Well, first step is to figure out how many of our members this is actually affecting in order to get some real perspectives. As of now, we're just sort of going on second hand information and trying to make suggestions sort of blindly and then they end up not really applying to the situation well.
Who is directly bothered/annoyed by the DoG doing... whatever it is they're doing with their rules and things? I haven't been around for at least a month, and no one has mentioned anything to me, personally, from either clan about being bothered by anything. Have any of our members complained about the DoG to any other crew?

I did not mean to offend. I meant that the crew backs you and lynn up 100% and that is why we are crew. 3nodding
As for the incident with me, something that one of their members said seemed like a cybering invite. Thus the sister was warned. However the crew member i am in contact with will not tell me the name or names of the "prude" However she is annoyed or seems to be by said "prudes". And says that this whole thing is causing problems internally. But rules and such will/ have been changed. My opinion is to wait a bit for them to get their bearings. if there is still problems then we all know what has to be done sadly.
What of a crew/leader gathering of both clans to discuss this matter? Or has that been done already. sweatdrop

If it's as Zeph says and they're trying to sort out their rules, then I think we should give them more time. I saw a guild announcement from them the other day regarding some rule additions, so they're working on things.
While they/we may be annoyed by 'prudes' or whatever, it's tough to cater to everyone in a guild, especially one with such different age ranges. I reckon with some time, they'll sort out their end.
