Nozomi was ready for the next step. Compress and get it spiraling. So if he was to do this he would have to keep the chakra flowing smoothly.
Nozomi held his hand out and started to concentrate and he started to gather water from the air and the things around him. Slowly water started to form in his hand. Nozomi was going to break this up into two parts. First he would compress the water and then he would get it spiraling. More and more water start to gather in Nozomi's hand and then he lost his concentration and the water fell to the floor. Nozomi knew he could get this in the next time he tried.

Nozomi was ready to try the compression again. Nozomi held his hand out again and started to focus on getting the water from the air and things around using water manipulation. Water slowly started to form as a ball in his palm. More and more water came, and the more came the more Nozomi would have to compress it. Soon it was the amount of water that could be the size of a basketball packed into a ball of water the size of a miniature soccerball . Nozomi got a wide grin on his face as he marveled at his creation. But the work wasn't done yet, he still had to circulate his chakra in the compressed ball of water, thus causing it to spiral. Nozomi then relaxed and all the water he had gathered up fell to the floor.

Now it was time for Nozomi to mix his chakra with the compressed ball of water and it would thus cause deadly impact and a decent size explosion. Nozomi had to get this done quickly because there was word on the street that the chuunin exams were coming up and Nozomi really needed to learn this jutsu so that he could use it in the chuunin exams. Nozomi took a 10 minute break and then he was ready to go again.
Nozomi held is hand out and was ready to start the water gathering, so he started to focus. Within about ten minutes the water gathered in the palm of his hand and it was about the size of a basketball. He then compressed it to about the size of a miniature soccer ball like he did not too long ago and now it was time for the chakra. Nozomi slowly started to focus some of his chakra into the compressed ball. But after the ball started to spiral slowly, Nozomi relaxed himself a little bit and then suddenly the ball of water that was spiraling slowly, burst and fell to the floor.
Nozomi was now ready again. He wasn't going to lose focus this time, he was going to do it. Nozomi held out his palm again and did the same first steps he did earlier. He gathered the water and Compressed it, which took him about 10 minutes again. Now he concentrated and focused to the best of his ability and started to pour chakra into the compressed ball of water little by little and it started to slowly spiral. And then he lost focus once more and the water fell to the floor.
Now Nozomi was definitely going to get this phase. Nozomi followed the standard procedure which he did earlier, gathering and compression which took up about 7 minutes this time. He then reached the hard part again. He slowly started to insert chakra into the compressed ball of water again. This time he was focusing so hard he thought he was going to pass out. But in about 10 minutes it was complete. Nozomi now had a wild spiraling ball of compressed water ready to kill. But then the water disappeared after a couple seconds because Nozomi still had to work on holding it. Nozomi was tired so he decided to take another break before he moved onto his final step.

Nozomi was finished with his break and now he was ready to start the second to last stage in this learning process. It was basically the last stage because releasing the jutsu is pretty much natural. Nozomi was wondering what to do to help him to accomplish this stage of the jutsu. After about 5 minutes of sitting down and thinking Nozomi came up with an idea. He went and took up at stick, which was about 3 feet high, and stabbed it into the ground so it was sticking up. Nozomi then stood beside the stick and faced a boulder which was not too far and not too close, it was just right. Now Nozomi had it all figured out.
Nozomi faced the boulder and started to concentrate. After all the practice he had, gathering and compressing the water was very easy for him. So within a matter of seconds there was a spiraling ball of water in Nozomi's hand. Now he had to concentrate as best as he possible could to keep the chakra flowing smoothly long enough for him to reach the boulder. So without further hesitation Nozomi charged at the boulder with the ball of water and chakra in his right and which was at his side ready to strike while he ran. When Nozomi reached about half way there the water chakra disappeared because Nozomi lost concentration. So he walked back to the stick ready to try again.
Nozomi just copied the steps that he just did, gathering and compression. Now as he got the chakra flowing he started to concentrate very hard, even harder than he did the last time. Then he charged. Nozomi tried his best to keep the chakra flowing steady as he charged at the boulder, he was already closer than he was last time, then suddenly the water and the chakra disappeared. Nozomi was more determined than ever and i knew he was going to get this jutsu down and he was going to do it now.
After walking back to the stick which he set Nozomi held his hand out and started to focus on gathering the water and compressing it, this time he didn't even have to focus that hard. After getting the wild ball of spiraling water completely formed in his hand, Nozomi focused and concentrated with everything he had in him, then he charged letting out a loud shout, he was really giving it all he got. By now Nozomi was a matter of meters from the boulder and he shouted loudly as he approached the boulder. "Tearing Torrent!!!!!" Nozomi shouted at the top of his lungs as he thrusted his hand forward and it connected with the boulder and immediately there was a huge explosion. There was little pieces of the boulder flying everywhere and there was some smoke formed by dust particles. As the smoke cleared Nozomi could be seen with his cloud masked laying next to him on the ground, he was tired and he couldn't hide. After a couple of seconds Nozomi slowly fell asleep with a faint smile on his face, knowing that all his hard work has finally paid off.

After a long search, Saito managed get a hold of Nozomi's chakra signature. He aproached him as he waved at him. "HEY NOZOMI! Chuunin exams are up and it turns out we're in a squad I came to get you," Saito explained to him.

Nozomi was in a nice deep sleep, dreaming about his favorite animal, the flying unicorn. In his dream he was riding one, soaring through the air high above in the clouds. He was flying to the end of the rainbow on his magical unicorn......Rex. He was almost at the end of the rainbow now and he was getting excited until his dream was shredded into little pieces by a rude interruption. Nozomi slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes as he spoke to Saito after hearing what he had to say. "Hey Saito did you just say-" Nozomi's sentence was cut short when Saito spoke and then ran off. It was pretty mean to do that, just cut into someone's sentence and then run off. Nozomi just stood up, brushed himself off and headed out in search of this chuunin exams location.

As Luo's canoe, as well as the river they had traveled a day and a half on began to thin, Luo sighed. It was here where the trip got a bit annoying for him. Docking the canoe, Luo could here the sound of the falls in the distance. As he stepped off, he looked at Fordon and muttered, "Start a fire." Staring down at the end of the river, Luo could see salmon attempting to make it across a gap. Throwing two senbon quickly, he speared two of them in the water. Picking the two senbon up, he waited for the fire to be formed so that he could roast them for eating before they continued on their way. This was the part of shinobi life he missed. He missed the traveling, and being out of one's own element.

Fordon grabed some wood from near by and baced it against itself. then he broke some twiggs and put them in the center. using his flint from his pack he got a small flame going. he fanned it a little to keep it alive and blow on it a few times. soon the wood caught and a small fire began to burn. Fordon gathered more wood add some to the fire. the rest of the wood he held on to for fuel once the fire died down. Fordon looked at luo. he did not know why they had stopped there. he had doubted that it was just for food. whatever his lords intentions they would be revealed in time. Fordon took a long stick and used it to poke the fire and keep the coals centered

Fordon looked up from the fire and asked "how far are we from where the exam is to be held?" he had no idea what country they were in but he hoped that they were close

As Luo placed a four sticks vertically over the fire, he placed the skewered fish horizontally down in order for them to cook. He then looked up at Fordon. "We are in lightning country right now. To get to the exams, we're going to have to climb lightning falls. It isn't difficult, so much as annoying because the rock face is known to be temperamental. I've stopped because I didn't want you heading into an exam after a day and a half of little to no food during travel. It would be stupid for you to fight on an empty stomach. So, those two fish are yours to eat." Luo sat in front of the fire crossing his arms and placing each one in the sleeve of the other, crossing his legs as well. He was not hungry, his meditative nature allowed for him to go up to a week and a half without so much as a piece of bread. However, he did feel that his new title caused him to lose time to meditate. Closing his eyes, Luo spoke to Fordon. "You seem puzzled as to why we have topped at such close proximity to your exam. As well as to have you eat, I wanted you to have the opportunity to tell, or ask me anything that is on your mind. I wish for you to enter this exam with a clear head."

fordon nodded and watched as the fish cooked. "well do you know what the other parts of the exam hold?" he asked with at least two other questions swirling in his mind

Luo shook his head. "The stages of the exams are cycled through, so there's no telling what you'll have to do. I do know that apart from the written part, there is usually a squad cooperation stage followed by the one on one spars."

"i see. what talents and skills do my team mates have. i know you said them before but can you go into any more detail?" Fordon asked knowing this would make him more efficient and perhaps get along better. he still had one more question about the exam and then something he wanted to say.

Luo nodded as he recalled to memory what he knew of the two. "Fenrir. No last name, and until further investigation, no former village. Elements, Lightning, and Wind. Techniques mastered: Unknown. It seems the boy doesn't understand that a jutsu is a technique. As for Enzeru I know not much about her other than her medical ability. She hails from grass so I suspect grass jutsu are in her arsenal."
