Gabriel looked at the sleeve of the jacket she was wearing. He sighed slightly and looked back up at Adonia.
"I see. Well, I just wanted an outside opinion on what I should do. I understand that you're probably a target of enemies because your the daughter of Zeus. However, when you place yourself around good people and strong people, then you have nothing to blame yourself for. Me, I just think that having Boreas as a father placed a bit of 'bad luck' on me. His hatred for mortal was well known. I'm still surprised that I AM his son. He never seemed like the type to become a bed-mate to a human female. I love being friendly to people, and I always was told by my mother than I would become a part of a great group of friends. I'm starting to doubt her on that."
Gabriel stood up and motioned a hug to Adonia.
"I still appreciate you willing to listen to me. You're the first person I've ever told about this. And if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always avalible." He looked around the cabin.
"Though some place much more warm than this would be ideal."

Adonia put back on the jacket. She looked down at the blood. "There used to be a lot more..." she said quietly. She looked up. "I can show you him if you'd like. I have a photo." She dug in her pocket and pulled out a faded photograph of a tall boy with tan skin, black hair, and silver eyes. His arm was around a ten year old girl. "Me," she pointed. "He's wearing the jacket, see? He's the only reason I get up everyday and fight."

Gabriel looked at the photo in amazement.
"Wow, so that's what Zeus looks like. I always pictured him with a really long white beard and hair. Kinda like Moses." He laughed slightly.
"Well, at least you seem to be on a good basis with your father. I wish I could meet with Boreas once. He doesn't really seem all that interested with me." He tried to smile, but he couldn't force it out.
"It was always me and my mother. I should visit her again some time. Haven't seen her in a couple of months." He said quietly to himself.

"So, he was a Demi? Did he go here or something?" Gabriel looked a bit apprehensive. He knew she wasn't giving it to him straight. Then again, he didn't know her very well. He probably doesn't need to know.

"No he...he disappeared on the Hill..." Adonia said. "But anyway, he saved me. He's the reason why I fight everyday. You need to find something to fight for."

Gabriel attempted to look happy.
"I see. Well, I don't think I'll ever find something, or someone, to fight for. That's why I came to you. What reason do I have to fight? I didn't even prove myself on that quest to save the captured campers." He tried not to sound like a complete wimp, though he didn't think it was working.

"Well, if I were you, I'd take a look at this 'drunk driver'. Doesn't seem very plausible to me," she commented. She frowned. "Seriously. Something tells me it wasn't an accident."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow.
"You think that someone killed my friends because they were told? Or because they wanted to? Why would anyone want to do that? Boreas isn't a likely reason. He's not even a major God. Why would someone target me?" He asked questions that he knew she wouldn't know. He sort of asked rhetorically.

Adonia put her hands in her pocket. "Whatever," she muttered. She shook back a sheet of curly black hair. "I'm going to visit my mum," she muttered.

"Wait, Adonia. Do you really think that someone would have done that to my friends in an attempt to kill me?" He asked, looking directly into her eyes. His eyes gave off a slight blue light.

Adonia turned back. Her eyes were bright blue. "I wouldn't put it past anyone," she said simply. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to visit Jane Clearwater's bones. Maybe Victoria Bones and Jane Sullivan if I have time."

Gabriel looked down, his mouth forming a slight frown.
"Right...."
He turned back towards his bed and lifted up the picture of his friends. He looked at it as he lowered himself back onto his bed.
"Thank you again, Adonia. I'll talk to you later when you return...."
His eyes began to fade back to their normal color.
